Is he aware that GlobalGap is an almost compulsory requirement if you must sell your produce to supermarkets across Europe. Is he aware that to get a GlobalGap certificate, you actually need to fly in certifiers from Europe or at worse Kenya to inspect your farm. Why are there no GlobalGap certifiers in Nigeria. Shouldn't Audu Ogbeh be looking for how to get them established here?

Truth is Nigerians have been exporting yams to US and Europe since time Immemorial. But Ghana that barely produces yams are doing a much better job and have dominated the yam market globally for a bit.

It's also kind of shameful that there is a lot of noise about 72 tonnes of yam. We(my company) currently ships above that quantity monthly on sweet potatoes. And we've had to struggle it ourselves against the terrible barriers from the Nigerian Government.

The FG doesn't need to be exporting yams, it's just simply needs to create the right policies and remove the bureacratic bottlenecks that prevent Entrepreneurs from doing these things

Dnt be too extreme in judging her but rather pray never to have problems that are bigger than you. I have a true life story to tell but for now let me just give the summary. I have a relative that was born with a hole in her heart and even after spending fortunes on her going from one counttry to the other, she has still not been ok. She is over 12yrs now and she still doesn't talk. It got to a point we were all praying for God to take her life just to less the suffering everybody is going tru in the family especially her mother. Do you know that at 12 she still wear pampers because she could just stand anywhere and pass out faeces. Everybody is just tired of the whole situation. Now, the only consolation we have now is that we believe knows about her condition and he is the only one who will definitely make her whole.

I'm from one the south-eastern states and a graduate doing my nysc,,,ill go straight to the point,,,,the cultural norm especially among the igbos which places pressure on the 1st male child is becoming alarming,,im in my late twenties and it gives me nightmares whenever I check my bank account balance and find out that I can't even settle down and start a family of my own or something tangible as soon as I leave service,,,from the day I graduated from university to my internship uptill this day,,,my parents keep requesting money to handle my siblings welfare,,,ive had to sit my parents down and inform them im unable to have personal savings due to this expenses but they've been adamant,,another issue is that my parents don't cut their coat according to their size,,they enrolled all of us into private universities,,during time for school fees,,,they borrow and later on,,they pay back,,ive graduated and told dem that wouldn't be the best method for the rest of my siblings coz times get hard each day in nigeria,,,my parents will tell me that they gave me the best education(though that's true,,im grateful to them) so I should allow my siblings to get same,,,im not against dat but I feel if u enrol a child into such expensive schools,,u should be able to face the miscellaneous expenses that comes with it,,,,,wen there is a need to pay up,,my mum calls me and starts being sober,,one way or the other,,ill pay up for watever it is,,,ive let her know recently that I can't continue with such lifestyle,,,,i need to start my life,,,if I have in abundance,,,ill contribute to family expenses,,,at the moment,,,i don't have,,,,my mum will tell u how the son of mr.A is paying for all his siblings school fees and taking care of his parents,,,please I need opinions on how to handle this coz honestly I'm tired
