I did not grow up in this manner you are describing. Not all of us knocked on neighbors doors or even have neighbors to knock on their doors.

I have always been a loner. I have acquaintances, not so much friends.

I don't ask strangers for things, in fact, I don't like to ask my own family for things.

Naija guys don't like me, I don't fit the profile of the kind of girls they prefer, I have given up on them. Dora Akunyili's daughter found a sound oyibo guy in this same Canada. You will tell me it is because she has name and a career or whatever, but she found someone. She could have waited for a Sound Naija guy, but maybe like me, Nigerian men did not fancy her because she did not fit the profile of what they wanted

People have different destinies, this doom and gloom some of you preach, there are so many others that will have a different story. My sister has planned two weddings within the last year, with Nigerian brides living in Canada, her ex recently got married in Canada, to a Nigerian woman based there.

I don't have a good story in Nigeria, it cannot get worse in Canada.
safari be optimistic and make urself approachable the right man will be all over u.....Here in Nigeria or elsewhere.

U are right though not heart ache, u wont have time to go hustle for the daily bread.

May GOD and JESUS, bless you including AMADIOHA...
U are absolutely correct.
If a MAN escapes such, he is MADE for LIFE.
COME to the US and see those Ladies, looking for marriages to devour.
The Funny Thing is, they are Loaded with Cash too.
So if you are not CAREFUL, u sink...

MOST of them are here changing ESCALADE and RANGE ROVER JEEPS like wrapper meanwhile, they haven't pulled any member of their families from Nigeria.
Very Common among those NURSES who suddenly saw MONEY and started weeping, saying " Can I be this RICH"..... more terrible especially with those ones that suffered Unemployment/Poverty in Nigeria for too Long.

.... a NORMAL smart RICH GIRL from a humble home is OK.
Since she has never tasted poverty. grin grin
You will still meet such ladies in lagos or abuja...Living extravagant, but their family is dining with poverty...smh.

Many women, few wives.

The wife did not actually love him and just used him as a stepping stone or perhaps Greed caused it.
Did he court with her? Or his family just arranged for a wife for him? I have had cases of the latter often times.
The lady used to be his childhood love...

It was that deep and changed his psychology.

His usual line is, every woman is Tiger...cheesy

This guy has series of investment here now, and his second wife isnt aware of up to 90%. He no longer trust women..cheesy

He said women for him since then is to have sex.

Dude has zero chill now.

That’s very rare compared to the men. It’s higher with the men. I do think Nigerians in diaspora should just marry each other rather than crying about being used for visa at the end of it.
It is not easy..Nigerians never forget their route.

Many people return to marry..If u meet gold diggers then wahala go burst.

Enlightenment you say? I hear you. Not blackmailing anyone, its just the truth and you know it. Would you like to see your plight being discussed in the most condescending way on a "faceless forum"? While I get your point, I still feel its wrong, he was told such in strict confidence. Deep down Op is not enlightening, he is only catching fun with the responses. Besides lets stop making it seem like a woman is nothing without a man and there is nothing wrong with a young lady trying to go to a country to get a better life, The OP's post is discouraging that in my opinion. People go to Canada married and still end up divorced over there. There is no manual to this thing called life. You just have to live it the way you can.
Every story is for others to learn from other persons opinion.

You don't know the OP, nor the said lady, likewise I.

A woman can exist , but men need her, likewise she needs them.

When u make money, nature will happen...U will now need things u neglect.

Love life, family, kids and retirement to happy home.

Then, u realise, ur house, G-wagon, investments no longer please u.

Rather, a child to call u mom, a man to cuddle u and tell u take it easy.

People think money is everything...When u make it, u will realize its another paper.

Yes, because the men usually dump them after getting a permanent stay for a white lady of being his girlfriend from back home. It’s so common that the home office has moved it from 5 years to 10 years just so the women can figure it out easily if it’s indeed a visa scam marriage lol
So what will you say about guys who returned here to pick wife, only for her to come and dump him for some white guys..cheesy

You make it sound like it happens to ladies alone.

Mind you my friend spent 35yrs in Baltimore and experienced such with his first wife.

She probably had this discussion with you because she trusted you and didn't think you would use what she probably told you in confidence to create a thread on Nairaland. Think about it!
This is a faceless forum.

OP has to enlighten people using a real issue..Especially those hustling to enter Canada.

U really don't need to bring the emotional blackmailing.
Romance › Re: I Am In Love With My Employee by Munzy14(m): 9:57am On Apr 09, 2020
Ishitinyourlife:
I live in the west, I'm single and in my late thirties, I work independently I have a store/cybercafe/gamehouse where I sell electronics like home sound system, games, pads, phone accessories, mobile phones etc and I also have a cyber cafe and a game house in the same building.

I have about 6 workers that run the place with me cos I can't be everywhere at all time and the shop is a little big. Among my workers is a very beautiful 22 year old undergraduate that works for me when she gets off school and during holidays. I like all my workers and I treat them right but I'm not really a guy that gets personal with people so they know I have boundaries, but this girl is exceptional. She takes her work diligently makes even more sales than me in the shop most of the time cos she is good with people.

This girl is very attractive and she dresses nice too. She doesn't wear revealing clothes. She's modest, all calm. I used to buy food from restaurants to eat in the shop before because I don't really like cooking but she told me I don't need to do that, she can make my food and bring it over to the shop for me. Like she will bring me food in the morning before school and afternoon and she refused to collect a dime from me.

People are starting to feel a certain vibe among us cos she smiles whenever she looks at me and even my workers do call her oga's wife jokingly.

In truth I like the girl but I don't know if asking her out might cause a problem to my business.

Advise me please.
Business before pleasure.

But, man must marry if he wants to. Keep observing her and run a proper background check on her. These ladies can put a up a Series ones the want you.

Remember few wives ,too many women.

Shine ya eye, business must be guided.
