The current government set up is certainly part of our problem. Any idea of unbundling the structure is in the right direction.

Guess what?

Of all crop of politicians around at the moment, only Tinubu has what it takes to do that.

Atiku or Obi doesn't have what it takes to take such a bold big decision. This is why we need to give Tinubu our support.

National anthem written by themselves - Nigerians' with approval in their NASS?

Like the 1999 Constitution written by Nigerians in their NASS?

Like the 36 states and Abuja political structure created by Nigerians in their NASS?

Like the unitary government system created by Nigerians in their NASS? Go siddon with your intact intelligence, abeg.

That the Anthem of 1960 was created during the eve of independence doesn't confer to it a colonial creation.

Of course, there's nothing we're participating in that's real. Or you don't know that yet? This illusion has become your and our reality. That's why you cannot see why a national anthem written by Nigerians is better than one written by a foreigner.

What I find interesting is that both Kperogi and Reno are helping to define "tribe" and "native" in their proper context.

And this reminds me of what I wrote on my blog sometime ago.

Most of things we say in English, we don't really know the meaning in the native speakers context. Because only the owner of a language can have an organic experience with meaning in that language. No matter how much you speak the English language, you cannot have an organic experience with meaning. You have to be literally mad to have an organic experience with the English language, i e your brain chemistry would have to work differently than a normal African.

Certainly, white people have damaged something in our brains on the African continent. This has to be the reason why such an irrational thing as reversing to a colonial anthem would be passed as law. But I am trying to figure out whether this damage has been before the whites arrived.

Only a brain-dead people can throw away a national anthem written by themselves in exchange for one written by a foreigner.

Can't remember when I told you that.

If it was up to me, the whole African continent, not just Nigeria would be reset to it's true components (now called ethnic groups) and let's run a united states of Africa. This is what Kwame Nkrumah wanted to do but didn't realize it won't work unless the existing European created structures were destroyed first.

No. Christianity originated in Israel. It then spread to Cyprus and then to Ethiopia. It is not a white religion. Stop lying and spreading misinformation. There were black people mentioned in The Bible too including the man who helped Jesus carry the cross.

Your ancestral African religions are dead. Nobody cares about them.

Christianity was in Africa before slavery. Christianity was also in Africa before it reached Western Europe. Christianity was not used to enslave black people. Meanwhile you are enslaved by propaganda that teaches otherwise.

And what are you adding? If you're an atheist, you're not only brainwashed but you contribute nothing to society letalone humanity.

Except that you don't know that Africa has began to be enslaved with religion from 332 BC as soon as Alexander (the so called great) conquered North Africa. Any adoption by Ethiopians was and is still part of our enslavement.

The first Jesus Christ was called Ptolemy I soter. He was the second in command to Alexander and he declared himself as God and vowed that black people must worship him.

He declared himself as Christ in Africa!! Soter means Savior, Redeemer, Christ and he was installed in North Africa in about 302 BC but this Jesus Christ wasn't so successful. Ethiopians also worshipped this Jesus before the second Jesus.

If the president so much love to replace the national anthem; why can't he call for entries for a new one written by Nigerians?

I read things like this and I begin to wonder whether there's something wrong with the brain of the black man on the African continent.

Why should a so called independent country adopt a national anthem written by a foreigner? I wonder why no matter how so called high we may achieve but the brain is still in chains!! Is this the way the black race would remain forever?

Politics / Re: Call For Competition To Compose Nigeria's National Anthem (1960 Throwback) by musicwriter(m): 7:01am On May 30
LegendHero:

stop saying nonsense, it was not a colonial anthem. Nigeria called for entries from people around the world for a new national anthem. Out of the total 45 entries. Lilian version was chosen.

She was an ordinary social worker employed by the Nigerian government. Ordinary person, the judges are Nigerians and they only selected her version due to merit.

By this time, the CIA and MI16 were the ones running the colonial enterprise, so the choice of the best anthem would have been made even before the competition but they needed to organize such a competition to get our consent.

This is what Mr. Noam Chomsky call "manufacturing consent" whereby a person or people unknowingly give consent to be controlled.

I know this for sure because the CIA and MI16 were later to choose a young writer named Wole Soyinka as the winner of the best poem for the event. Two years later (1962), they used him yet again, plus Chinua Achebe, Christopher Okigbo, Ezekiel Mphalele to get consent to destroy African languages in literature. This one is documented

You and the white kids aren't doing the same thing.

The white kids are preaching the message of a religion that evolved through their (whites) direct participation in nature, while you're preaching the message of a religion used to enslave your ancestors.

The white is expanding white power through religion, while you're re-inforcing your enslavement. That's the difference.

Eboes (See Olaudah Equiano) or Ibos... Present day now use Igbo for whatever reason is known to them.

That they share the same Anglo-Latin letters does not connote the same thing. And it was done in the 1970s. I know why, but I won't say it.

Igbó - Bush/forest (or weed). Tonal marks. It's different from the tribe's name.

In Yorùbá's suffixation to towns, it describes a town situated in the forest.

No correlation.

And the bold is wrong.

This topic isn't for every Tom, Dick, and Harry to comment on. This is a history that's almost lost and not even known to historians, except as the Ooni of Ife regularly tries to enlighten everyone based on the oral history passed to him as well.

“We still have House of Igbo right in this palace till date. We call it Ile Igbo up till now. Our ancestors are buried and transfigured there. That is where kolanut was first discovered and nurtured.

“The Igbos are still the biggest consumers and users of kolanut which is only planted in Yorubaland till date. Can the Igbos do without kolanut? ”

“The ancient Igbo house is one of the most sacred places in this palace till date..........The Ooni of Ife

Personal Opinion of X user; Obi Achebe has no need to be diplomatic with his origin, he owes no one no apology wether his people are considered second class ibos because they have migrated from across the Niger shouldn’t be his concern. I do appreciate the fact that he was courageous to do this as this will be preserved for unborn generations.

Conclusively, it’s called Onitsha Ado n’idu portraying their origin and not Onitsha Eri

Including the Eri, all moved from West to East.

Yorubas and Igbos used to be one ethnic group or maybe clan in the dim period of human history, probably several thousands or even millions of years ago. But at some point, they partied ways.

Igbo (meaning forest in Yoruba) didn't pop up from nowhere throughout Yorubaland. Those were Igbo clan residential areas, in fact, I've found Igbos everywhere all over Africa.

Now, I am not saying that igbos came from Yorubas or that Yorubas came from Igbos. All I am saying is that they used to be one clan a very long time ago in human history. But they partied ways.

It appears that Igbo's have always been travelers from time immemorial. I've traced them to Namibia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, etc.

African countries as they exist today were never created with the inhabitants (Africans) in mind. The countries were solely created in 1844-1885 by and for Western interests. That's why a French business man doesn't need 35 visas to travel to 35 African countries. But an African does.

Maybe we're waiting for white people to inform us that we need an African passport

How about banking?
Maybe we're waiting for white people to inform us that we should have a central bank of Africa to solve the problem of transferring money to ourselves without passing through New York, London and Frankfort.

But if any of these was of financial, political or cultural value to white people, we would have been doing them for long.

How did they end up in Germany?

After the British made the theft, they sold them off to museums and private collectors around the world. They also kept some in Britain.

So, the items are spread around European countries, the USA, Canada and probably in Australia. One source said more than 40,000 pieces were stolen. Out of these countries only Germany is making some genuine effort to right the wrong.

The late Queen of England died saying that stealing the items was the right thing to do, because according to her "everyone was doing it"

Without grassroots science education, the black man on the African continent is doomed. We men should be ashamed of ourselves. We've reduced the great African woman to nothing by our stupidity.

And I keep wondering whether this should justify the acceptance of Jesus Christ but Jesus is just the white man's version of the same sickness.

Wahala dey oo 😒

You can read it yourself. The book is called the Gnostics and their remains
Only Satan (knowledge) shall set us free. Satan doesn't mean evil, Satan means knowledge, savior, redeemer. In fact, it's in the Bible in some passages where the Greco-Romans forgot to edit out. Example:
Numbers 21:8-9

That's the historical origins of Christianity. In other words, this is the real message that Jesus taught and a reason he was a threat. But this part of the story was carefully cut out of the Bible.

Fortunately, the Gnostics continued to teach the same thing within the first 250 years after the death of Jesus but this knowledge was and is still a threat to religion, so the Gnostics and their teachings were outlawed by the Roman empire and KNOWLEDGE was replaced with dumb BELIEVE to control people.

How do you mean Satan sets people free??
Satan sets people free from who and from what?
So under who's control will you be if Satan sets you free, God or Satan??

Is Satan evil or good??

This your explanation needs to be explained 😒

The US and Saudi Arabia are ruled by same person. This person created Judaism, Islam and Christianity but on the surface it's presented as different religions. The purpose is to fool people to take sides and be distracted from the pursuit of true knowledge that would set humanity free.

This secret knowledge was taught by the earliest Christian sect called the Gnostics. The Gnostics said that Jehovah Yahweh is actually the devil. It's a fake God that intercepted our destiny and has kept us all in slavery here in a fake world. This is not the real world, rather the real world given us by the real God was intercepted by the fake God Jehovah Yahweh who created Judaism, Christianity and Islam to fool humanity about God.

Politics / Re: Reno Omokri Lists 'The Wealthiest People In Nigeria In 1965' by musicwriter(m): 10:13pm On May 03
The article merely cited some of the wealthiest people, not the wealthiest person.

Someone who knows Reno should tell him that Britain is not a credible source for history, especially black history (not because they don't know) because they have so much skeleton in their cupboard to protect. You'll understand this when you study history from black perspective to the point you understand the politics of history.

For example; the article has painted Britain as the pioneer of trade and exploration, thereby making the reader believe that African businessmen came from behind but Africans have explored Europe and created the sea routes to and fro Europe, thousands of years before Europeans learned how to go to sea.

Europeans actually came from behind in international trade. Before Europeans learned international trade, Africans have run the show for ages! This was reported by Adam Smith in the book: wealth of nations.

According to Adam Smith in his book; the wealth of nations, he said that the Portuguese ''had been endeavoring during the course of the 15th century to find out by sea a way to the countries from which the moors brought them ivory and gold across the desert'' but to no avail. It seems the moors kept the trade route and the source of their supply a secret.

However, the Portuguese eventually succeeded and in the process of looking for the Moorish trade route, according to Adam Smith again, the Portuguese discovered ''Madeiras, the Canaries, the Azores, Cape Verde, Guinea, Loango, Congo, Angola, Benguela, and finally the Cape of good hope'' in South Africa. So, it was actually by trailing Africans who supplied commodities to Europe that Europeans found their way to West Africa. You'll never hear this in school.
