Recently , there has been an upsurge in rape cases in the world . Lately , it has become so rampant in Nigeria .

In the space of two weeks , five rape cases were report Nation wide with many gone unreported . The most saddening fact is that all the victims died as a result of the evil act .

One question on people's mind is WHY IS IT HARD TO PERCUTE RAPIST? or better still WHY IS RAPE LAW UNJUSTICEABLE?


For a concrete rape case :

1. There must be evidence of penetration

2. A rape case must be reported immediately after the incident

3. There must be a medical examination of the victim


4. There must be a Forensic proof .


Most rape cases in Nigeria are reported days and some years after the actual incident making it so hard for the police , lawyers, justices lay hands on substantial evidences.

You can not just come out and point accusing fingers at someone without a concrete evidence to proof beyond reasonable doubt that the accused actually did the crime .

The case of BUKOLA DAKOLO against PASTOR FATOYINBO is a case example of accusations without concrete evidence .

The best solution to nap rapist , I mean real criminals and not the innocent people looking for what to eat daily

* Victims should report immediately to the police .

* The clothes worn by the victim must be the same one worn to the police station .

* Evidence like Fingerprints and DNA samples of the criminal must not be tampered with at the crime scene.

* Parents should not hide the victims in the name of STIGMATIZATION.

TEXT: ROMANS 8:28

his purpose.
#MESSAGE :

Miracles are the babies of impossibilities.
Testimony is the baby of a test.
Everything works together for good, including affliction. (Ps.
119:71)

The bigger the problem, the greater the testimony. (John
11:35)


There is nothing that happens in the life of a child of God that
won't lead to a testimony.

I have a good news for someone today, that big problem in
your life will soon become a big testimony.

Nobody would have heard about Bartimaeus if he hadn't been
born blind. Peter came in contact with His destiny after an all-
night failure. If he had caught some fish by the time Jesus
came to the seaside, he would have gone home, and missed

EXAMPLES OF THOSE WHO BECAME GREAT AS A RESULT
OF A LOCKDOWN

1. David. 1 Samuel 22:1-2
He became great while hiding away with cast-offs from his
father-in-law, King Saul.
In 2 Samuel 23:8-39, these cast-offs had become David's
mighty army. They became mighty during a lockdown.


2. Elijah; 1 Kings 17:17-24
The king mobilized his entire army to kill Elijah. He had to go
on a lockdown for safety.
He also went through a period of lockdown in the house of the
widow of Zarephath.
While he was locked down, Elijah became the first prophet
ever to raise the dead.


3.The story of Joseph. Genesis 40:1-22
Joseph was also on lockdown in the Kings prison and he
grew spiritually from being a dreamer to an interpreter of
dreams.
And as he was coming out of that lockdown, in Genesis
41:1-44; he became Prime Minister to Pharaoh.

HOW TO MAXIMIZE THIS LOCKDOWN PERIOD FOR
SPIRITUAL GROWTH

Rejoice because your tomorrow will be alright.
2. Praise God. (1 Thess. 5:18). In all things, give thanks.
3. Pray. There has never been a greater opportunity in your life

5.Meditate. (Josh. 1:
6. Receive visions for your future. Visions usually come when
you are locked down.

*God speaks to people who are NOT in a hurry to leave His

7. Plan on what next to do after the lockdown is over. When
you're done with planning, hand it over to him, Ps 37:5.

8. Clean up your house and immediate surroundings. Deut.

Now cry out to the Almighty God and ask Him to draw you

Considering Kogi's closeness to affected states, Melaye says it is illogical for the state to be coronavirus-free.


Former senator representing Kogi West, Dino Melaye has affirmed that there are coronavirus cases in Kogi State.



On Wednesday, May 27, 2020, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed two cases of the virus in the state, but the state government rejected the results, saying the cases were fraudulent.



A day after the NCDC report, the state Commissioner for Information, Kingsley Fanwo during an interview on Channels TV also described the results announced by the NCDC as a beautiful fraud.


But Melaye in a statement on Saturday, May 30, 2020, said he knows one of the patients suffering from the in the state.
He warned the state government against playing politics with lives of the people saying it “is illogical to think we will be free with our proximity to affected states”.



He said, “ I want to announce that the Covid-19 case in Kogi is real and authentic and cannot understand why any responsible government will want to deny and invariably kill her citizens.
“One of the cases is from Kabba and the victim is personally known to me. I cannot be part of those who will play politics with the lives of my people.
“COVID-19 is real but not a death sentence, if handled early enough. Family members of the Kabba victim who got a referral to Abuja from federal medical centre in Lokoja and all those who had contact with him should please surrender themselves for a test so as to curtail the spread.


“Kogi State government must come down from her imaginary high horse and start contact tracing to help curtail the spread. It is illogical to think we will be free with our proximity to affected states.
“God will hear our cry and heal our land. God bless Okun land! God bless Kogi west! God bless Kogi State.”

Lai Mohammed, the Minister of Information and Culture has told Nigerians to expect 11,000 megawatts of electricity by 2023 following the agreement the Nigerian government reached with German firm Siemens.


He said the German firm will be growing the present 3,400 megawatts to 7,000MW by the end of next year. Lai Mohammed added that they will then grow the megawatts to 1,000 megawatts by the end of 2023 (phase 2) and 25,000 megawatts in the third phase.



The minister said;
“Following an agreement with German company Siemens in July 2019 to boost power supply in Nigeria, the stage is set for the perennial power problem to become a thing of the past.
“Under the three-phase agreement, Nigerians will enjoy 7,000 megawatts of reliable power supply by the end of 2021 (phase 1), 11,000 megawatts by the end of 2023 (phase 2) and 25,000 megawatts in the third phase.

“To put things in perspective, Nigeria’s current power generation capacity is more than 13,000 megawatts, but only an average of 3,400 megawatts reliably reach consumers. In essence, the current amount of power that reaches consumers will more than double by the end of next year.

“In addition, this will create thousands of jobs and will leapfrog the country into the next level of industrial and social development.”

Missing Young Man Who Was Considered Dead After Going out To Buy Suya, Found in Jail 5yrs Later

A family who had reportedly held a funeral for their son who had been missing for five years, only to discover later that he was detained in prison after he was picked up during a random police raid.

Tobijulo on Twitter gave the narrative during the conversation of how people are picked off the streets randomly and sent to prison without trial.

She wrote,





“A former colleague told me how her cousin went out one night to buy Suya down the street and they didn’t see him again. They searched everywhere, couldn’t find him. Year 1 passed, year 2, year 3, I believe it was in year 4 they decided to declare him dead and “buried” him.

“Year 5 her mum gets a call, a church had done an outreach in a particular prison and a young man threw a sheet of paper with her mum’s number on it. He begged the people to call that number as it was his Aunt’s and he was wrongly imprisoned. Luckily for him they did and her mum went to that prison and that’s how they discovered he was alive o.

“After another set of wahala they finally got him out. Man was in prison for 5 years!! What happened that night?? He went to buy Suya, there was an incident, police raided the street and carried EVERYONE. He begged and tried to convince them that he wasn’t a criminal, they didn’t listen.

“He was transferred 5 times to different prisons. 2 times to the North and once to the east.
