Ibukun was a gentle, easy going fellow. He was my mate in FGC Ijanikin. I still picture him in his Jaja house wear and the way we run things together. We werein the same class, ate together, read together and slept on the same bed sometimes. Is this how life is? A few weeks ago he was telling me about preparing to go to UK for his masters.
Ibukun is no more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its painful, A young promising fella, great sense of humour he has.
May Allah console his parents. Its sad. May his gentle soul rest in peace,Allah ya ji kan shi. |

Maybe while they are at it, they can build roads and bridges in space for us since they have given up on building them on earth for Nigerians.[/quote]How can you be sure the will collect the money from the govt? have they collected the $16bn for power or N80bn from NPA or N19bn from fani kayode and co or from the EX govs, the list is endless. Nigeria is in a sorry state. I was beyond angry when the MD of NIGCOM-SAT showed up at the reps panel to explain the whereabout of the satellite, the guy ddnt show the slightest sign of remorse that nigeria had wasted(Lost) $500m. Jarus: Barrister Zomby, let me remind you that the Police Act is not superior to the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The constitution allows anybody to seek redress in court for breach of one's right. This overrides the Police Act. Prominent Lawyers like Femi Falana, Gani, Olanipekun and others have all explained this. Constitutional lawyer Jarus, Why are you so ignorant? Have you read section 214,sub section 2a of the constitution? As long as DCP Ribadu is a police officer he is under that act. The only way he can sue the police is to resign. |

QuotaSyste: Calling you the most idiotic of all idiots of this forum is understatement. When has nigerdelta become ethnic group? It is not enough to say "i am from nigerdelta" Tell us which ethnic group you belong to without been ashamed of your self and your ethnic group. I make proud to say now that you will never suffice again on this thread because of my question. Shame will never allow you to come back and tell us if you are Ijaw, Urhobo or Ishekiri. Ewu, i wonder when niger delta became a reference to ethnicity.
Ewu awusa without brain, does all Americans and Europeans live in America and Europe despite their places being the best in the world? Senseless question of Yorubas and other nigerian minorities when it comes to Igbos living outside Igboland. Lazy people that can venture outside their areas to try and make a better living for themselves, but seeing Igbos doing the same thing warrants them to become jealous and start asking their "national anthem" stupid questions about why should Igbo immigrate to their areas to surpass them in achievements.
Anumanu, must i be born in 1969 to know what happened before and after then? That's why most of you nigerians are dumb heads. There are historians who can accurately tell you what happened 300 years ago, yet when an Igbo discusses about Biafra, it becomes reason for you idiotic nigerians to question when he was born. I still maintain that the most three names that you nigerians are most afraid of are BIAFRA, IGBO and OJUKWU. Just mention any of these three names and you will notice a nigerian start panicking.
See you mouth, " a Biafra that no one want to join" Has there been anytime that we Igbos wanted you lazy assholes inside our Biafra? You lazy ones, especially the Yorubas and awusas are the ones that need to depend on Igbos for your daily survival. If not, try and support the agitation for the breaking up of your silly nigeria which 99.9% of Igbos are in support of breaking it. You lost people that are awusa Christians. Seems you are even awusa and claiming niger delta. Now go ahead without shame and tell us which ethnic group you belong to. Ewu awusa. You igbo guy,you are so ignorant. You should please improve your English before you post any msg again or you might spoil the server with you arrowish english. Let me remind you again,Biafra is a pipe dream, and thats wat i'll will remain. Nonsense! Fraudulent human beings kawai. |

Now, you brother is trying to repeat exactly what obj did; $500m to build new satellites that will never exist. FYI, am not a typical nigerian; i can never be caught dead in any form of corruption. lol If you knew it was a failed project why did you watch it. zomby: No doubt, a coward dies a thousand Deaths, while a stupid ass intentionally soaks himself with gasoline before running into a burning building to rescue people. I personally see nothing wrong with Mr.Ribadu fighting for his rights and looking out for his country at the same time, but there is a better way for him to get this done. Don't you think? I cant just go to a Gov's house and take my share of the govt money cos he stole our money. Ribadu cant just continue to disobey rules and superiors. Wait, who the hell does this DCP Ribadu think he is? If everybody want to use ribadu's method to fight for his rights, does he think we will have law and order in Nigeria. The guy out of his arrogance and ignorance doesn't even know he cant sue the NPF. How can he ever say that Andy Uba,Bode George,OBJ!, etc never stole from us,gosh! this hypocrite of DCP makes me sick. How can the guy be arresting pickpockets, leaving the armed robbers and think that nemesis will not catchup with him. If he disobeys anymore orders,he should be demoted further or even arrested or better demoted, arrested, sacked. We got better things to worry about than 1 prodigal DCP. |
Politics › Re: Ribadu Under Attack by Muza(m): 2:53pm On Dec 02, 2008 |
Why are we disturbing ourselves over Ribadu,is he superhuman? Why does he want to fight the Nigerian state and police, disobeying orders from "above" . When the guy was disobeying rules, courts orders, handcuffing and dragging suspects,he never thought that the tables will turn. Some one should pls tell ribadu that we live in a round world, what goes round will surley come around. How can you cry for a guy that presided over EFCC with 400 of the 700 workers from Adamawa, also selling seized properties to his cronies, did this guy think that OBJ would have ruled for ever. Let the guy be wise, accept his demotion,go and beg for forgiveness then move to the background. The ppl doin this to him are not clean, but he is not clean either. WEEP NOT FOR RIBADU! |

debosky: For the sake of argument, let me humour you.
He can be a dictator - in the eyes of the public, i.e perceived as a dictator. This is as an interpretation of his actions - he doesn't listen to public opinion, he does what he wants to regardless of opposition to it. He will step on toes and will not apologise, his actions are based solely on his own considerations, etc.
His wife can control him, with him still remaining 'a dictator' thus: She influences his actions in private and feeds a lot into his actions such that he is unaware of her controlling influence and thinks the actions are all his own. In most cases, this controlling behaviour is not known till after the fact, so everyone still regards OBJ as the dictator, since he essentially was the person in power not his wife. Debosky thanks for pointing that out. Seun wat other name can you call the closure of tv stations arrest of jonalists, crucification of nuhu ribadu. And one day you will remember that i said this:Turai yar adua will be the riches first lady Nigeria ever had. She has just been grabbing everything that she can lay her hands on. |
