FG must do whatever it takes to keep that virus out of Nigeria. I repeat, they must do whatever it takes because we don't have the capacity to fight the disease at all. We can all witness how even China is struggling to control the spread. Abeg o FG. That thing must not enter Nigeria o because the consequences would be catastrophic beyond comprehension. FG you have been warned o.
This Coronavirus is not as fatal as you think. The fatality rate is about 2% and mostly kills the old who are not having strong immune system. What you don't know is people recover from the disease. Of the thousands having it about some thousands recovered(about a 1000+ from official sources) with about 630 dead as of yesterday. The fatality rate is even lower than that of SARS of 2003. The symptoms are more or like someone having pneumonia. I think media and misinformation is causing exaggeration. The fear of coronavirus is because it is a new Virus and secondly the ability for countries with low medical system to contain it is also another fear. Apart from that, it is more or like a flu virus.

Nigerians should ask themselves why, Parastatals like the CBN, NNPC, NLNG and co were exempted from IPPIS. I might not agree with ASUU in a lot of things, but I at least read up on their complaints and noticed this huge Reg Flag.

Buhari is careless, nothing moves him. Every reasonable president but Buhari has placed a huge embargo against China. What is Buhari scared of? This is a global problem targeted at drastically reducing the world's population. We need to be circumspect.
list the countries that have placed embargo against China. WHO even warned against countries to actually do that, it can backfire in many ways...sometimes we just generate ideas and views without having concrete knowledge about the situation. I think US and about 15 countries+ have stopped flight from China. Many like UK, Germany,France even close Chinese neighbours like Korea, Japan etc hasn't. Now go and research why some have done that and while some haven't then you can now draw from your inference why no African country has done that and why Nigeria hasn't also

Same middle belt that had more than half its people in the Nigerian Army that so much hated the Igbos. They are not North!

They have stopped being North
this is not something they choose, it is ingrained in the constitution. If today a Kogi or Taraba man vie for president. Everyone will still see it as the North vying for the seat. The term middle belt is used to describe some states in the North Central, even the term is not clear enough...I might ask which states makes up the middle belt?

tomorrow if a Jos man is to be a president , the whole south will still see it as the North trying to retain power. Whatever you call it, you are still in the North Central if you are coming from Plateau... That's what the laws sees.

it is not for peace. they are negotiating for a pull out in exchange for the Taliban's not allowing the part of Afghanistan under their control to be used as a base to attack US interest. Trump is negotiating to pull out just as he did in Syria recently

it is mission accomplished! Muslim countries will continue to feel the pain if they allowed themselves to be used as terrorist breeding ground.
How did Taliban gain power in Afghanistan. Sometimes our history is our problem. In the 1980s Russia invaded Afghanistan. The Taliban was created by young youths alongside AlQaeda to fight the Invasion. US directly gave them weapons and support to fight the Russians. In the late 80s during Reagan, the Russians were defeated but a new problem arose. Those group the US supported both directly and indirectly became a problem. Bin laden who was the leader of AlQaeda started having somuch hate for US together with Taliban that wanted to implement harsh sharia laws in Afghanistan. In summary US had a big hand in making AlQaeda and Taliban what they are today. Same way as ISIS, the story goes almost similar way. When people say that US directly and indirectly create these group you might think it is a joke. But if you research you will find out that the US over the years have created groups that ended up becoming militant and fighting them. In the middle east US was arming militias to fight Sadam during the Iraq war. These militias later became what ISIS is today.

Whatever way you see it, US is still negotiating for a peaceful solution in Afghanistan. It is now known to them that the Taliban have to be part of the peaceful solution since they can't do away with them....and US over the years continuously keeps shooting themselves on the foot

you call me illiterate but you don't know the zones that make up Nigeria. Nigeria has 6 geopolitical zones. Benue and Jos are both in the North Central. Middle belt is a term used for states in the North Central but doesn't exist in law. Please what have I said that is false?

Biafrans!!! This is why we cannot afford to remain in zoogeria for one more second!!!

The population explosion of almajiris in the north (conservatively beginning at 20-25 millions) is, in a decade or two, going to provide an inexhaustible supply of jihadists/terrorists/extremists that will definitely be coming over to the south for conquest!!!

Stop being politically correct!!! Visit the north (by air and not by road before you get kidnapped) and see things for yourself!!!

Kids are eating out of trash cans and you can bet your last cent that these kids are going to be mad with the society once they bulk up!!!

Ka anyi jiri ehihie chuwa ewu ojii ndi be anyi ooh!!!!!!!!
Please be specific when you say the North. Plateau is in the north...same as Benue, Taraba, Nasarawa, Kogi etc and they don't have almajiris as you claim. The only unsafe place in the north is Kaduna axis and some north eastern states like Borno which still has bokoharam. There are 19 states in the north and I sometimes see that you guys probably use only 2-4 core northern states to define the whole north

who lost in the war? US or Afghanistan?
Was the war between US and the nation Afghanistan. US fought Taliban, a group that housed AlQaeda and binladen in Afghanistan. US fought them to bring in a stable government...mind you no one won any war, Taliban still controls half of Afghanistan'...that's why US is now negotiating with them.

Nigerians don't get to comprehend a lot. They act on emotions and sentiments. Even if you have a bias against ASUU why not take time to understand why they don't want the ippis system. Trust Nigerian, no one has time to read or think in a logical way. We are only good at ditching out insult and blame games
