SenecaTheYonger: I doubt it's a copy-paste of the old testament. not really but bear striking similarities... That's why they call the three religion Abrahamic Religion....Judaism, Islam and Christianity... Because of the similarity and their origin |

SenecaTheYonger: Not sure that's what their Jihad koran says though. If only you take a look at the Quran, it is basically the old testaments and the methods employed...just that some interpret it literally |

TommyAnthem: Ecowas is complaining because they don't know how things work in Nigeria, they are viewing it from a moral and just angle not knowing that things are done upside down in Nigeria. Border closure is more effective down south unlike the north were it is still business as usual. Most Ecowas trade routes are down south, expectedly, they will feel the heat. you are wrong by saying most ECOWAS trade route is in the south. Niger, Mali,Mauritania, Burkina Faso, Chad etc all have borders or close borders to the North and actively uses those routes |

lordeoregon: Shoot emails to Profs Bro. Funding always depends on available/expected funds and most of these funds come from research grants which Profs also struggle to get!
Teaching assistantships are more available in programs with high undergraduate enrollment. So if EE undergrads are quite many, which is very likely at Texas Tech, there would be need to have TAs for courses with labs. The department then plans for the number of TAs to hire per semester, and their stipends (typically 16-17bucks/hr).
I've seen Profs that had to support their research (MS/PhD) students solely with TA positions because they didn't have grants at that time. Personally, RA positions are best because one begins hands-on research immediately which helps to speed up graduation and presenting conference papers, journals etc. With TA roles though, if you're very friendly and knowledgeable, you'll make lots of friends (very vital here). thanks |

SmartMugu: Don't mind them. Soon that MURIC Ishaq guy will say the actual person that pulled the trigger is named Moses Solomon Peter. Confused mindsets everywhere. It is a war they are fighting. Both Syria forces, and the rebels are all muslim. It is not a religious war. Is it not same Syrian Army that killed about 8 Turkish soldiers some days ago. I think this was like a payback. The Syrian conflict is very well complex. US have their interest, Iran is there too and Russia. Finally Turkey just came into the fight. It is not a religious war. Some of the Syrian rebels are not even Muslims...And Allahu Akbar is also used by Arabic Christians. It is a slogan saying God is Great....many people don't even know that Syria has one of the oldest and first Christians in the world. I think they are fighting alongside the Gov.....It is complicated war |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Syrian Government Chopper Shot Down By Rebels (Video) by mvem(m): 9:14pm On Feb 11, 2020 |
DennisEche: So because you are fighting civil war,it now gives you right to be shouting Allahhu akbarabi? So which war is BH fighting? They shout same Allahu Akbar, Muslims needs to examine all their heads. Because praising God when shedding blood is not proper Allahu Akbar means God is great...all Arabic speakers normally use it, like a slogan to show God is on your side....I think because terrorist using it have given many people the wrong insinuation that it is a terrorist word.... |

That woman there.
Yes I mean Obiageri Mazi....the Igbo teacher who believes that teaching in a terror-prone Almajiri school is better than her safety back home is one of the reason why I believe that God created some people without brains.
I'd never understand the rational behind non-indigenes staying back in terror-infested cities. Maybe it is just a streak of masochism. you guyz really say things that amuses me. There is a market called "bank of the north" /babanlai in Maiduguri...guess what?...all most all the traders are igbos there...Igbos even have large community-like settlements in Maiduguri. In the University(UNIMAID),the biggest in the northeast we still have a lot of igbos schooling there. I think social media has given many that view that the north is one war zone and also northerners so much fear the south because of what they hear and read on social media...If only many know that all these war mongers clamouring for war are all lying to themselves |
