jara: Look at the supporters of Peter Obi, Atiku and Tinubu with their records in Government. You will feel sorry for Nigeria in particular and Africa in general.
Nigeria refused and internationally shun Activists but prefer demonstrated looters to repeat their shameful cleptomaniacs to reign again and again.
All Nigerians do is rationalize evil habits. Your devil is worse than mine.
We thought Jonathan would finally rescue the country. A disappointment that paved the way for Buhari. Jonathan tried, the only problem was Bokoharam and it was first in the history of Nigeria. Regarding corruption, there was no means to block corruption hence he introduced all the instruments used today to fight corruption, please give jonathan a break, check the inflation rate during his tenure and now and tell me. Exchange rate just varied from 155 to 197 throughout his tenure . Because APC painted his regime bad and uptil now, you can't still see the difference. Jonathan worked with the best economic team after OBJ |

If you are being sincere to yourself, you would be more worried about the whereabout of the ones that they have borrowed in the past with nothing to show for,and the oil remittance since january , may APC government happen in your life, may your life be ran as APC is running the affairs of this country , can I hear a big thanks in affirmative! |

ImperialYoruba: Visioners.
You can get administrators in thousands, visioners are rare. Tinubu is a visionary, Obi is an administrator. What vision my brother, the vision of Buhari and the calamity of APC and how they are handling our country? I wish you what his vision is doing to our economy. |
Politics › Re: Fuel Subsidy: Nigeria Facing Existential Threat, World Bank Warns by mycar: 10:05am On Aug 11, 2022 |
ImperialYoruba: IMF is not talking about administration. They are talking about intervention for remedies.
A progressive solution, one modeled after the successes of Lagos. Who will intervene if not the administrators? The issue of fuel subsidy is all about accountability and trust. |

Cognitivereason: anambra geographically can never host a sea port...go and google search what a sea port is and areas where they are built..
only ogun, edo,delta,bayelsa,akwa-ibom, calabar and rivers can host seaport...anambra can not accommodate more than a river port...which GEJ built but left it useless Nothing is impossible but even a functional seaport in delta would have helped or any other location but the political class have constantly deprived people of such. It would have reduced urban migration, Have you ever thought if we had sea port in lokoja and Delta. what it would have done to our economy? it would have boosted both export and import but No, everything in Lagos and you think it's Tinubu that will do it since he is the one that is benefiting more from the present state of things? |

ImperialYoruba: It is very clear in that message, IMF wants someone who knows what they are doing and has good grip on progressive economy and security to help stabilize Nigeria's solvency for benefit of regional security and economic viability.
Only one candidate has the experience and know how, Tinubu!
IMF is using backdoor to vouch for him. Not Tinubu my dear, everything points at Peter Obi because Tinubu is part and parcel of this administration and Buhari said it unequivocal that wherever his party goes , that's where he will go after been criticised for earlier saying that he belongs to everybody and to nobody and subsequently, he made the 5% comment, so tell me, is APC trying to save Nigeria from APC? Is Tinubu going to work with a team different from that of Buhari and who are they? |
Politics › Re: Fuel Subsidy: Nigeria Facing Existential Threat, World Bank Warns by mycar: 6:31am On Aug 11, 2022 |
29kobo: World bank is telling us that our subsidy costs are rising to a point where they are eating into our budget for other things.
So, the solution is simple...remove subsidy. Meaning that petrol would go up....which is what most Nigerians do not want. Does not matter who puts up subsidy removal, Nigerians do not want it.
At the end, subsidy has to go. Otherwise, it would make life difficult for all.
(Will not be arguing about this.....again.) All we need is effective government that will be able to determine the exact amount we spend on fuel importation, the exact quantity, the amount is always inflated just like contracts. This the only reason I am supporting Peter Obi, he involves himself in the contract negotiation, he does not award contract based on tribal sentiment, he goes for the best deal, he scrutinises every transaction to make sure his state is not cheated out. That was how he saved money, He doesn't spend anyhow, No wastage of fund, He sees a problem and look for solution which i believe Tinubu was good at but he may not have the strength to do them now and when you rely soo much on others just like Buhari is doing, the whole country will suffer. |
Politics › Re: Fuel Subsidy: Nigeria Facing Existential Threat, World Bank Warns by mycar: 6:21am On Aug 11, 2022 |
ImperialYoruba: Example of what IMF is talking about is Lagos and revenue generation and social development.
Lagos is far more solvent than Anambra or even Nigeria. It remains a model.
Those who made Lagos successful should step forward and advance Nigeria forward.
Nigeria is very important to Africa and its failure is unacceptable.
It is clear, did you not get the message IMF is hinting at? Show me one seaport in Anambra, take away sea port in Lagos and Lagos will turn to kastina. and don't tell me that Tinubu built Lagos because Lagos is not Tinubu's home state, charity they say begins at home and what has he done for his state? As the first civilian governor in this 3rd republic, he allocated to himself a larger part of Lagos economy and you want him to replicate it in the country. Kindly think it through. If Tinubu has anything to offer, he is the chieftain of the party, he supported Buhari twice, meaning he believes in Buhari, so if that's his sense of judgement. I am not a party to it. |

ImperialYoruba: Tinubu already issued same advisory to government very recently.
Tinubu continues to highlight risk areas and advise on policies that global institutions agree with and back.
Tinubu uplifted Lagos economy, Obi sank Anambra economy.
Vote success Vote credibility Vote competence You quoted a very good piece but failed to apply it properly, maybe you did not understand the english very well. FYI, the line is asking government to make an effective use of the taxes but your principal Tinubu advice was for government to tax more people and things. and by the way, Peter Obi left Anambra better than he met it. example of what Tinubu was talking about https://www.nairaland.com/1577881/imagine-radio-television-home-use#20625930 |

What of Peter Obi, is he the clean one?
That man never conducted Local Government election for 8 years, that is pretty undemocratic and monopolistic, he is a regular politician we see on the news everyday, if he likes, he can go and visit JF Kennedy and Abraham Lincoln, or even George Washington, that doesn't solve our problems
He is a sectional (SE) Presidential candidate, he paid salaries abi, Ogun kee you there,
What did PO do in Anambra to think he can solve Nigeria problem? Everyday you keep seeing people relocate from that dirty state to Lagos or Osun or Oyo, this bastard even left Anambra State for Lagos, the state where he was governor for 8 years is not habitable for him, he is just an ordinary Igbo agenda, not a Nigeria thing, it is why he is going to massively fail in February, no one will ever support these bastards agenda, idiots. Tell me one state that ever conducted local government election and have any opposition party won a single local government, Nigeria politics made local government election the last so that it is winner takes it all. Do they even elect, all I have seen so far is selection except Abuja. |

Quintopia: To those who attack the likes of Tinubu and Buhari, by making insulting remarks over their health condition, using such terms as 'lifeless' and 'vegetable' etc, I have a question.
Have you lost your humanity?
Why do you have to be so mean-spirited and spiteful?
None of us created ourselves, so stop insulting people over their health condition.
YOU have 'life' only by the special grace of the Almighty. Nothing else.
So why would you scorn another person over his health?
Where do you even find the audacity to do that?
Tomorrow you will call yourselves 'Christians'.
Those Christian tenets mean absolutely nothing to most of you here.
Might as well drop the affiliation to that faith, cos you're not just mocking the sick and infirm, but you're mocking God as well.
This is not to say you cannot draw attention to a person's health if it is a cause for concern.
But you cannot do it in a way that mocks or belittles the person. THAT is evil.
STOP IT. I think People are just highlighting the Red Flag in Tinubu, Nobody would have cared if he was not a public figure, like you, nobody wants to know how you look but the moment you become a public figure, believe me, it is better to be just before you become generous. |

Politics › Re: Peter Obi Like All Igbos Does Not Believe In Restructuring And State Autonomy by mycar: 4:09pm On Aug 10, 2022 |
NuclearWinter: Why would he?
The SE survives on Federal handouts . A situation that was envisioned by Zik's Marxist centrist govt.
Did you hear him speak on State fiscal autonomy ? Never!
Dave Umahi is at least honest that his Ebonyi can't survive without Nigeria with federal handouts and so he rejected the Zionist Biafran project which he says will only see to his state becoming worse off financially .
So like every Igbo politician , do not expect Peter Obi to campaign on full state fiscal autonomy because his parasitic yeast would be the greatest tragedy if this was to be implemented.
Zik had warmed Igbo delegates and members of the old defunct eastern region parliament that an exit of the minority region from the old eastern region will see the region the poorest and employed all Igbo MPs to resist any attempt to see to the so-called minorities leaving the eastern region. When the matter went to the Federal Parliament owing to the Igbo dominated house stubbornly refusing to have the minorities present their case, the Igbos did the most unimaginable foolishness and assassinated all leaders of other regions including the PM who had thrown their weight behind the Minorities in the eastern region. The rest is history but history worth revisiting because it shows how desperate the Igbo man is to keep being fed by others and how their greatest nightmare is to be left to their own device. We do know that Igbos opened secret back door channels to get Gowon to integrate them back into Nigeria after the Niger Delta parts were liberated.
So from all indications, the Igbo have shown historically that they can not in anyway or form run their states without federal handouts. We saw the deadly silence from the Yeast after Wike's court victory over FIRS in collection of VAT revenue. Every other southern state governor applauded the judgement other than the Igbo governors .
Then there is the Igbo position on oil derravitive to oil producing states which they have always sided with the north . They kicked against OBJ's 25% derivative using third term as an excuse to throw both the baby and dirty water away. They sided with the north over the now settled onshore offshore dichotomy. A court ruled that the territorial waters are first the boundaries of the state and then the FG. Without that ruling, Akwa Ibom would still have been massively underdeveloped since all the oil revenue it gets comes from offshore oil wells. Let me not even talk about the disastrous PIB that Igbos sided with the north to make rubbish of.
So how does Peter Obi intend to fix the system that he is very comfortable working with?
Does Peter Obi think that the problem is solely leadership despite the obvious being the very shaky and unfair system?
As long as Peter Obi refuses to address the issue of restructuring , treat him like your typical Igbo Abuja based contractor turned politician.
. So you have never heard him say that he wants to position Nigeria from sharing formular to production formular? Shameless people everywhere. at least, lie with intelligence and not like a dumb person. Obidients are not illiterates that you can sway by lies and propaganda |

They attack everyone who reject their candidature. See, in life when you are pushed to the wall, what do you do, you fight back, Nigeria masses have been pushed to the wall, if you check, all the politicians, including Peter Obi are jittery, Peter Obi can't even afford to mishave if he gets there, that's the beauty of it. No other candidate can be influenced by masses if he enters there, Atiku and Tinubu will think it's their money.
