Living her best life cool

Some people will come here saying she is celebrating looking young while some of her mates are celebrating their grandkids

My own opinion is that we only live once, so we have only this one life to enjoy ourselves...There is no special place in the grave for those who married and had kids...It's all back to zero for all of us once we breath our last

Whether one is married, has kids or not has no benefit for the dead...Even the heaven most of us worry about does not have being married or having kids as one of the criteria for its entry grin

Shine on Kate cool....I am here for you to beat up anyone who talks sheet about you sad

RomanceRe: Has Temu Won The Online Ecommerce War Over Jumia? by MyExpression(m): 10:40pm On Jul 13, 2025
Ruke1990:
Jumia ran adverts with €800m for 8 years without making a single profit. They had European investors who funded gave them the 800m euro and waited till after 8 years when they got listed in new York stock exchange to make their first profit from stock sales

Temu is a Chinese business and Chinese businesses receives billions of dollars as grants and subsidies from Chinese govt. Temu has spent $1.5 billion on adverts in the last one year. The free shipping from Chinese e-commerce companies are not free. The Chinese govt pays for it. The govt provides free shipping from mainland china to the border of the destination country when a Chinese business wants to send products abroad through govt backed free shipping line

How do you expect jumia to favourably compete under such atmosphere without any single subsidy, grant or support from Nigerian govt. This is the reason trump is fighting against Chinese businesses. They destroy your local businesses by dumping goods in your country at ridiculous prices that your local businesses cannot compete with and your local businesses have to shut down. By taxing Chinese businesses heavily, the cost of buying Chinese products would become higher or at par with locally manufactured ones and as a result local businesses will be able to operate without shutting down and unemployment too will not emanate. Trump was responding to the fact that thousands of US businesses have closed shop creating unemployment and relocating to China where grants, subsidies, raw materials, technical skills, free shipping are readily available and the economics of scale is also in their favor

Chinese govt backs TEMU as an investment, not free money.
The Chinese govt is invested in most of the global businesses from China.
China sells to the world.
Jumia and co should set their eyes on the global market and strategize appropriately.

This is similar to how Nigerians are paying more for cement that can be cheaply gotten from neighbouring countries at the same quality, even with importation costs.

Why are things more expensive to produce in Nigeria, and cheaper elsewhere...even when we have the raw materials?
We shut out doors to rice importation, now the so-called local rice, is even more expensive than imported rice.

There is something wrong with our economy.

Slamming tariffs on China isn't the solution.
Customers are still the ones paying...and buying psychology says— why buy locally made item, at same price/quality with imported one, foreign products are trusted more.

The solution is to boost our internal production capacity.

The same way they invested in Dangote oil and gave him favourable considerations, they should also invest in human capacity, and reap the benefit of rapid/sustainable human empowerment.

Which factor of production is the Nigerian government supporting?
Land? Labour? Capital? Entrepreneurship?

You don't do what other country leaders are doing...all we know is to widen the tax bracket.
PhonesRe: Same-day Delivery As Temu Opens Warehouse In South Africa - PICTURES by MyExpression(m):
This is my opinion, but it is drawn from existing in-house data.
Most customers that order on Temu, don't follow through on their purchase.
We have had higher percentage of order cancellation from ecomm vendors who sell stuffs on Temu.
Temu still has a low trust factor, and rightly so, coz there has been legit complaints about buying low quality clones from Temu.

Order fulfillment isn't on Temu, they don't have the assets.

The glory for same-day deliveries should go to the logistics industry of South Africa

Don't ever engage my comments and start an ethnic baiting again. I don't play those games here or elsewhere.
What are the chances of Atiku this time around, compared to Peter Obi?
If they both run separately, they'll lose.
If they run together– with Atiku as the frontliner, they both lose.

The coalition of APC didn't need new s.election.
Tinubu said it outrightly...it was to put Buhari in power.

So why should this coalition not put their best foot forward and give themselves a fighting chance...atleast to make it easier in 2031.

This isn't ethnic baiting.
It is the sentiments around Nigerian politics.

The opposition should be fair to Atiku.

Asking Atiku to step down for Peter Obi is undermining to Atiku.

Let Obi fight for the ticket like a man. If he wins the ticket, let him run.

If he feels he cannot compete, let him stay in LP and run there.

The attacks on Atiku are not fair and reflect the modus operandi of the Obidients, a strategy which alientated those initially sympathetic to their principal.

I am not a fan of Atiku, but he worked the most for this coalition than anyone else. Where was Obi when Atiku was doing the ground work? Now food is ready, the Obidients are dictating.

Are the Obidients ready for leadership or they just enjoy the social media noise?

You are pushing an agenda.

Atiku has come out to run against a northerner and a southerner, yet the north didn't give him the bloc vote.
Peter Obi came out, even against Atiku and Tinubu, and was overwhelmingly supported across board.

If we wanted Atiku, we'd have given him the ticket long ago.

Presidency is not a compensation for efforts like the èmilokan tag.
We want progress. We don't care for regionalism anymore.

Only Obi can give Tinubu a run for his money.
Every other person in the ADC can't.

BTW the ADC isn't an architecture of Atiku alone, El-rufai was involved too.
However, all these were done as a necessary coalition that can give -firstly- Peter Obi, -the people's choice, a fighting chance.

The country really don't need a party.

We want Peter Obi...or Tinubu might as well do his time.
Yorubas no go allow Igbo man unseat their father.
They will be taunted with it.

So for pride, even intelligent yorubas who understands Nigerian sentiments, would still vote for Tinubu.

They said Igbos too dey brag.
Somewhere deep seated, they are wary of the Igbo man...it's a dicey decision for them.
PoliticsRe: Obi Will Leave ADC, Split Votes And Tinubu Will Win Easily In 2027 - Rufai Oseni by MyExpression(m):
Why is anyone else coming out to contest?
If not Peter Obi, what then is the point of it all?

So the question again is: Should we let this illegality or can we help the govt to take it off.
It is within our rights...yea?

You guys don't understand foreign diplomacy.

People live in closed communities when they go abroad.
The Peckham, Sabon geri, Ama-hausa, even the Chinese have this Pink painted empire/estate around Berger.

Everyone still lives under the national law...and they pay tax as due...and you still have freedom to enter those places...but all lands there have been duly acquired from the government or ceded to those aboriginals by the government.
