Hello fellow nairalanders. I want to bring to your notice, an NGO that is upcoming - Africa Stands out from the Crowd Foundation (ASCF). This is an organization that has similar aims and objectives as UNICEF, USAID, et al.
Africa Stands out from the Crowd Foundation is registered in the UK (RC: 7695475 which you can use to verify the authenticity of this organization). It took about 2years with millions of naira to get the foundation registered in the UK, since any foundation registered in Nigeria barely survives. ASCF needs to organize a dinner/fundrasing night in London to raise funds for the 1st phase of our projects. But the estimated funds to get the dinner/fund-raising event in the UK done is about 1,000,000,000 (one billion naira, including renting the hall, paying for meals, hotel accomodation for dignitaries, well secured airport pick up, paying the speakers that would speak on that day, etc).
ASCF is seeking for funds/donations to see to the success of the dinner/fundraising night in London. We are willing to sign a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with any investor, with an amount of interest. This is not a scam. All we need now is philanthropists or donors or individuals who would go into partnership with us. After the fund raising night, we would pay back any money given to us, with an agreed interest rate.
The projects that would be embarked by ASCF would give us both national and international recognition.
