allanphash7:I responded to the two emails you sent, or maybe I'm unsure how this Nairaland email thing works. But you can reach me here oiliest_draftee0v@icloud.com |
allanphash7:Yeah sure |
allanphash7:August 4th is already more than 30days. You can send it to VFS through courier. I did the same thing, I got the request on Tuesday when I tried to book an appointment, the earliest I saw was 26th of July so I booked that date as backup and sent it via UPS on Thursday, it was delivered to VFS on Friday and I got acknowledgment email today |
Good day house, I want to submit my passport via courier service but I’m a little bit confused about the consent form. When filling the form, what is supposed to be in those fields I underlined in red, I’m guessing that should be the details of the courier service right or it can be left blank. I don’t want a case where my file would be returned.

I recently hired @Bolu1986 to handle the POP work for my building project and I am beyond impressed with the quality of work he has delivered. From start to finish, Bolu was professional, reliable, and dedicated to ensuring that the job was done to the highest standards. His attention to detail was impressive, and he took the time to understand my vision for the project and delivered results that exceeded my expectations. The work was completed on time and within budget, and I was constantly updated on the progress of the job. I would highly recommend Bolu to anyone looking for a skilled and reliable artisan. If you're looking for quality work, Bolu is your guy! Thank you, Bolu, for a job well done! |
Got doors from Celnoz today. I must say I was really impressed by their service and smooth delivery to Ibadan. I would recommend them anytime. |
bolu1986:How much is pop per square metre now?. Location is Ibadan. |
Where are you located? |
Merry Christmas house. Please, I need someone that can provide interior doors in Ibadan. |
RockOfAgesAlumi:Thank you. The project is at Ibadan. |
RockOfAgesAlumi:Thanks for the response. This is the kind of window I was referring to as casement (Without the embedded burglary though). Do you mean this quote doesn't capture that? And what would be a fair quote for that be?
|
Hello experts in the house, someone gave me this quotations for casement window. Pls, how fair is this and what would a reasonable price be
|
Dozieson:Thank you. Yeah, definitely. |
chukel:Thanks, I’d have to watch. It hasn’t done that since the last time |
Thanks everyone for your contributions, I’m not actually using a road side mechanic. I only call them for not so technical stuffs that I know I can supervise my self like changing bulbs and all. Tried starting the car yesterday and it didn’t come up again until I did my normal ritual or giving it gas. Took it back to my mechanic after I was able to start it (This time, I made sure it was the main guy that attended to me). And it was checked again, he found out that it was two of the plugs that was faulty and for the issue of the car not starting, he said the battery was already getting weak so I replaced the battery. So far, its been good. Still watching for some time. Hopefully that resolves it totally. |
GAZZUZZ:Thank you , would get them checked. |
autologic:Thanks for the response. Would contact you for this. |
Dozieson:I have added the pic to the post |
Good evening gurus in the house. My car initially came up with Check Engine Light. I scanned it and it showed Cylinder 4 misfire code (It had shown Cylinder 3 misfire before which I took to my mechanic, he cleared the code and advised that I buy Octane booster when next I fill up my Tank, that our fuels here are mostly the cause. I did that and car was okay for like a week). I noticed it vibrates when I start it up just before the CEL and it latter settles. But one morning, I tried starting it but it didn’t come up at all until after cranking it for a while and stepping on the throttle simultaneously. I took it to the mechanic immediately after that, he serviced/ cleaned the nozzles this time and said it’s fine. Fast forward to 2 days after, the same vibration started again and when I scanned it, it showed the Cylinder 4 misfire code again (mind you I had already changed the 4 plugs and two ignition coils some months back when a misfire code came up) Please gurus in the house, what can I do to permanently resolve this issue? It’s a 2013 Toyota Camry.

Good day everyone. My car, 2013 Camry makes noise from the front driver tyre side when I reverse. Took it to a mechanic and he said it was the brake pads that it was too smooth. So I replaced the front brake pads. But today when I drove out, even though the noise has greatly reduced, I could still hear it a bit. And I decided to wind down while driving, I was hearing sounds like the brake pad was touching the rotor even though I wasn't using brakes. Mind you, I noticed while he was changing the brake pads for the driver he struggled a bit before he could fit it, but the passenger entered easily with the same brake pad size. When I mentioned that to him, he said I'd need to resurface the rotor. But I'm having a strong feeling that the pads are not retracting after braking, hence reason for the sound I'm hearing. Should I go ahead to resurface the rotor as he said or what other options do I have? Cc oga @Gazzuzz and other people that chip in please. |
I just checked and I think the brake pads most have been replaced, I can't seem to find any written on it, like a brand name or model. OR could it be I'm not checking it rightHave you been able to resolve this? I am having similar issue, but mine is the front driver side. Car is Camry 2013. Cc oga @Gazzuzz, any Idea what the cause could be? |
My Camry. First, I was going for a work retreat with a colleague, woke up early to wash the car. Only to want to start car and it refused to start. Didn’t have a mechanic at the time (Just got the car). Had to call someone that has mechanic. It ended up being mass air flow sensor. He cleaner it up and the car started. Second time, was going to the interview for my current job, left home on time, and branched at a nearby filling station to refuel, only for the car to refuse to start after buying fuel. Omo, thank God the owner was around, he helped call his mechanic who helped washed the plugs and car started. |
The funniest thing about all these is that you might not even be the one on speed and still get hit by a speeding lunatic. |
myorh:Thanks everyone here for all your comments and concerns. Got my insurance claims paid. |
Transxy:Thank you, I have done this. I actually had doubts going because there were lots of other cars parked there as well. |
AlphaCEO:Most definitely. |
gmacnoms:There is a waiting period of 60 days to allow the police probably recover the vehicle if they can. |
Kajaard:Lets speak of what we know please. I like my car, and I’ve been using it for over 2years without any issue and I’d prefer to get it back over insurance payout which would most likely not cover for the market price of that car now. The process to claim an insurance for stolen car is, you submit all the original car papers and later the keys before they pay out. So even if the car was found, I can’t get paid without submitting the keys and the original car documents. |
FreeStuffsNG:Yeah, already made an official report. |
och12:Thank you, really hoping insurance come through. |
