Anambra State Governor Charles Soludo wrote

I visited Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, yesterday, (Friday, 13th May, 2022) to felicitate with him and also as part of the wider consultations with critical stakeholders in search of lasting peace and security in the South East.

He was in very high spirits and we had quality and frank discussion in a very convivial atmosphere. He expressed sadness over what he described as “sacrilegious killings” of innocent persons, kidnappings and all forms of criminalities, including the brutal enforcement of the senseless “sit at home” perpetuated by sundry groups claiming to be acting for or on behalf of IPOB. He assured that if the opportunity arises, he will be glad to personally broadcast to his followers to maintain the peace.

Together, we shall restore peace, security and prosperity in Anambra and the Southeast.

It is well indeed!

If it were those days they protest with flags I'm sure the security agencies would have descended on them.

run him down syndrome. Anambra state is a state that battles lots of flood yearly and lifespan of roads cannot really last in some cases. Yes I agree that some of the roads constructed buy Obi has spoilt but you would also be lying if you say it's all that has spoiled. I am from Ekwulobia for your info.Infact I live in stadium rd, and the road was constructed by Obi and it is still standing strong. Ngige's work at Ekwulobi/Oko erosion work was washed-off in just 2 weeks till the federal intervention and no one has come out to call him out.Here is Ngige using it as a political point. Ngige and Obi did well but Any1 whom witnessed the two as Governors wud know that Obi did better. I don't have words for tinubu urchins whom thinks otherwise because they have never stepped a foot in Anambra.

in terms of road construction, give it to Ngige. Remember, Ngige was the governor for just 3 years and. The Igbo ukwu-Ezinifite-Amesi-Uga-Umunze road and the Oko-Umunze-Ogbunka-Owerre izukalla road built by Ngige are still standing. The reason is because, Ngige engaged the services of a renowned construction company (SETRACO) to carry out road construction unlike Peter Obi

Back to the topic: Peter Obi did a lot of things including federal roads (eg Onitsha to Nkpor stretch of Enugu-Onitsha Expressway, etc, those are still standing), he built so many rural roads that Anambra till today is said to have the highest road network (you will not enter any community as remote as it is without at least one or two major roads linking it to the next one).

If I don't know any other thing, I know that the three flyovers in Awka constructed by Peter Obi are standing gidigba today.
