Yes throwing up alot. Yesterday evening till midnight 8 times. At some point thought my intestines would come out. Trying to take them tabs o. Not easy

Just when I thought it was over my "evening sickness" is back in full swing. I refused to call my doctor cos i know next will be drip. If I could take this drip in my house I won't mind. I hate hospital

beedam: Hello mamas, how una dey? Please I went for a scan on the 3rd of July and also took another on the 22nd of august and both EDD doesn't correspond. The second one is two weeks earlier to the first one. Can anyone explain that please?

I noticed that when I had my first scan d embryo was measured. The next scan the gestational sac was measured and they both gave different EDD. So probably that is what happened. You could ask the doctor why.

@ mytestimony,it happened to me also. From 1st trimester till middle of 2nd self. U can get relief from hot water steaming. If u enter 2nd and it still continues,ur doc might give u piriton tabs,dt was what mine had to do as it was affecting my sleep seriously.
Keep urself well covered around ds cold period as well. Pele.

iyaibeji2: The cold will subside after some weeks or less depending on how many weeks you are. My advise, don't take any drug other than Vit. C which should also be taken in moderate doses. Sorry dear

Please help the cattarh is becoming more serious. I have been using eucalyptus oil. Now even during the day my nose is blocked. I always cover myself. What again can I do. As if my chest is blocked. I dont sleep well o

Everyone please thank my God for me because he has been awesome through it all. My prince charming has arrived!
He was born on my due date August 15th! the story is as follows:
On thursday evening i went for a walk with my toddler. I put her in her stroller and walked a ton, i knew the next day was my due date so i wasnt playing safe or anything! after a 2 hours walk. I got home, had a nice hot bath and settled in for some dinner. it was about 10pm. I, hubby and my daughter had a good box of pizza and were watching a TV program. I decided to retire at past 1am to bed, leaving hubby and dd in the living room. At 1.40pm, i woke up to a sharp intense back pain. it was nothing like contractions, but i rmbr i felt dat pain and pressure with my first before i was given an epidural. I called hubby and told him i think its time we get to the hospital. He thought it was one of my pranks, as i spoke, i had an intense contraction. i couldn't talk or walk, after it had gone away i ran to put on my clothes and headed for the car. Then hubby knew it was serious, he grabbed our daughter and my hospital bag, we dropped her off at my aunts house and headed for d hospital. We were there at past 2am, and the nurses doubted i was in labor cos i wasn't shouting. When they checked me, i was 8cm dilated, everyone was shouting and askig dat the delivery room be made ready for me, i progressed so fast dat i didnt get an epidural. at 3:21am my son arrived, very natural...only dat i tore at d same place i did previously, but not as deep. Didn't tear until dey found out the cord as wrapped around his head so they had to stick a finger and unwrap, and he was struggling,dat was when i opened up at d previous spot. In all, i thank God. His naming is 2mrw and am healing fast.

. I have done two and was already scared it was much.

@All preggy mamas so because of excess saliva like 3 experienced mothers told me to take bitter cola or nnzu. I was so scared cos I thought I have put too much cola in my system. They said it does no harm and showed me their children. They say the bitter cola even helps with malaria during pregnancy. Hmmm I am learning

Someone who strongly believes I am carrying more than one (lol) asked me to talk to my doctor about it. My sister it sounds scary joor.

My last scan was at week 7. Will be 10 weeks tomorrow. Sha would see doctor in two weeks. Did your doctor advice vaginal cerclage?

@Bestie101 can you imagine. At week 6 my doctor said I should come for a scan. Though his own is TVS. I hate travelling. Meanwhile the day I clocked 6 weeks symptoms started in full. So I told him I cant travel o. Sha as doctors are on strike I registered in a private clinic. To cut the long strong short when I went there the nurses asked how far gone and I said 6 weeks they said its just MS and I should endure and that it is too early for scan. Sha finally I saw the doctor he did a scan and said I should come back in a week. I was heart broken. Plus I wanted a TVS o cos I was used to it already. The next week I went and he saw a sac. He asked me to come much later o for confirmation. He was saying anything can happen. Huou can see one sac now and another much later. Or two in a sac. He was concerned because my MS was excessive o. Me too don type plenty. Lol

iyaibeji2: You can try sitting upright for as long as 3hrs after eating, before you lie or tilt to rest on your back.

Iyabeji2 I ate around 5. Till now I have not tilted. Just because of the heartburn. I started sipping water an hour later to be calming the burn.

I have been enduring for a while now oh. Ah pregnancy things. Not easy

Chei @beedam at week 16 still throwing saliva. It is well o. They told me it all ends at week 12 and I seriously can't wait. Sha if na only that one no nausea or vomiting and all this body weakness one can manage na. The thing no easy. Baby bump here we come

Gbam! Sha from what I gathered from his fb page he just graduated o. This year. Precisely he was inducted 12th feb 2014. So he has not finished housemanship talk more of service.
