Please is it ok to take TREVO SUPPLEMENT during pregnancy? has any of our mamas tried it? I used to take trevo it helps alot with fatigue among other things. I am always weak so I felt I should ask. Also I read alot of testimonies on the trevo how it reduces morning sickness. Has anyone tried it

My dear I tire. It did not stop at that she was telling my mum that it is too much petting that is making me like this. That she spoilt me and then my dh too spoils me. She now said I should stop thinking about myself and think about my baby. I should eat food. Chei @lovinam I even wish I had the strength to talk would have told her to please shut up as na aunty. I for add please. Some children just come with big announcement. Imagine since I have been ttc for a while I wanted to keep it secret till I start to show. For where the special child said no way! It is well with all of us. @phemmy26 dont worry she will be fine. I was told that soon my dh hubby will run away from me cos of chop chop amd I will get back the weight I lost. We just have to be patient and endure

Iyabeji if only u knew. I hv been admitted twice already and it's not funny. I would give my last penny for this sickness to go. People who dont have morning sickness especially the extreme one don't know what they are enjoying o. One woman in d hospital really pissed me off saying what I feel is only in my mind. I should tell myself no morning sickness and it will go. Imagine just because she never experienced it.

@phemmy26 I passed through that and had to be hospitalized twice. Even putting bitter cola in my mouth stopped working. Please when she gets weak take her to see the doctor so that the lost fluid can be replaced. It is important

Hmmmm the continuous throwing up has resumed just a day after I stopped the medicine. Cant keep anything down. I am so weak. Experienced mamas please is this how I will have to continue. I don't want drips again. I am 8 weeks

Oluqueen pls oh be careful with malaria drugs o. If you are having twins my doctor explained that you would have double the morning sickness you would normally have. For triplets its even more. Congrats o. Its not easy

@fruitfulmama. Thanks. God will perfect it. He will take control of your cycle. Try to rest alot and get your mind off whether it will work or not. I don't know about others but some fertility hypnosis tapes helped me relax. I listened to them alot while stimming, before and after transfer. It helped me reduce worrying alot. Meanwhile I wont lie that I was very scared because I did know what to expect. Just took each day as it came

Ah ah u still have the sickness? Thought you should have passed that stage? Wish I could sleep and wake and my first trimester would be over.

I noticed that for two days now I wake up quite strong in d mornings. However once its like 3 pm I start getting weak and feel a lot of nausea too. It continues till I sleep. Should I be worried?

dhabeautyjas: dear, sorry, i used palm oil instead of veg oil and it worked for me.
even wen making noddles. the smell of palm oil was my savior in nausea control. and i chewd bitter kola very well.

Oh I used to think bitter cola is not good for a pregnant woman o thanks. I will try it as I have a lot of it.

Lol @ your experiences. Pregnancy can change women eh. You just start acting funny. Something I did that worked for me.
1. Chew your food slowly. Make sure you belch after a spoonful. I eat a small plate of food for 30mins. If I don't do that , it means the food will come right out after it enters my tummy.

2. After eating sit still. Don't go jumping around

3. I ate a lot of ice cubes especially at night. That's the only time I was able to get liquid in. Don't drink water while eating o.

4. I drank a lot of lucozade with crushed ice.

5. Ensure you take your vitamins. If u can't take it in the morning, then take at night.

Thanks @lovinam I tried chewing ice yesterday and it was great. The feeling is just wonderful. A plate for 30 mins? Hmmm I will try o. My problem is that I am always sleepy. So once I eat its very hard to stay up. I wil try. Thanks for the tips.

I refused the food as usual o. But funny enough when dh was eating I now begged him for some. So embarrassing. I am glad I begged for food in my own house not outside. So suprised I enjoyed it so much

Ah legs swelling at 4 weeks hmmmm i dunno about that o. I still have serious nausea. They gave me medicine for rhe vomiting when they admitted me and I am not through with it. My sister just started cooking again and I had to run out. Imagine! I tried staying and saying to myself that it is a thing of the mind. Nobody told me to leave o. My symptoms started at 6 weeks.

@Bestie101 I thought it was only me. I stayed in the house while my sister cooked and ended up in the hospital as I was vomiting non stop. Once she is cooking I leave the house because no matter how I lock I perceive it in my room.

beedam: @ mytestimony, food I managed to eat? Hmmnnn! A great question. For breakfast,its rice and stew(pepper+vegetableoil+maggi+ salt) and lunch is amala and ewedu( just ewedu only). Later, crayfish was added to the rice stew. And lunch graduated to eba and okro( ila alasepo + crayfish). I was on that for like 2weeks and then graduated to yam and veg.oil and lunch changed to eba + okro+ stew+ titus fish. For like seven weeks,my life evolve round this food till 14th week that I stopped vomiting. I ve included,moinmoin, yam and egg,beans and plantain, amala and gbegiri, little turkey and chicken, apple.

I will try the ewedu. Any food with oil irritates me. Cant wait to pass this stage and eat all I want
Please is it safe to take ice cream? I usually have the ice cream mix nd I do the addition to milk myself. Just that I am craving ice cream but I need what is good for the baby not me

@Beedam I am just 7 weeks gone o. D day I clocked 6 weeks symptoms kicked in in full swing. For the whole week I was down. God will help us carry to term. It is his desire. What foods did u manage to eat.

@Beedam its not easy weldone. The doctor gave me something for the vomiting. It is working. Tho last night I still felt a bit nauseous. It makes me sleepy though. The thing is the days are just so slow. Ha ha ha. Its my first after ttc for close to 4 years. I thank God sha. So ice cold water wont affect the baby?

Thanks vikilafab. I was chewing orbit then I hated it. I will try the cold water.

I am newly pregnant. Food is my major problem. What can I eat to help. I had to be hospitalized because of excessive vomiting. They told me to try dry foods. It is not working. Please sabi mamas help me with suggestions. Also it is very difficult to drink water as it tastes bitter.
