Umaru Musa Yar'Adua (16 August 1951 – 5 May 2010) was the President of Nigeria. He served as governor of Katsina State in northern Nigeria from 29 May 1999 to 28 May 2007. He was declared the winner of the controversial Nigerian presidential election held on 21 April 2007, and was sworn in on 29 May 2007. He was a member of the People's Democratic Party (PDP). In 2009, Yar'Adua left for Saudi Arabia to receive treatment for pericarditis. He returned to Nigeria on 24 February 2010, where he died on the 5th of May.

Goodluck Jonathan Message To Mark Umar Musa Yar'adua 7th Year Remembrance

Seven years ago you left this world leaving behind a legacy of detribalized leadership and a soil that was fertile enough to grow trees whose shade you would never enjoy. As a peace maker, you helped bring peace to the Niger Delta and that singular act brought manifold benefits to Nigeria. As a democrat, you promoted due process in government and equity in public administration. Umar Musa Yar'adua, a friend and brother, a great gift to the nation and people of Nigeria. Seven years gone but never forgotten. May you Rest In Peace even as we hope and believe that you made al-Jannah firdaus. Miyetti Allah for the life of service you lived and may Almighty God care for the family you left behind. GEJ

PoliticsRe: Don’t Destroy NIA, Nigeria Can’t Survive Without It – Horsefall, Pioneer DG NIA by mytym(m): 9:29pm On May 04, 2017
kowema:
Any agency that needs over $200 milion for one covert project or whatever should be gunned down.
Such plenty money and we can't see the outcome.
Didn't even know dey exist.
When the story broke and my friend said what do they need the money and safe house for? I yabbed him that all "24, Homeland, Strike Back you've been watching has not educated you one bit".

The NIA story is a smart cover up and most likely will disappear in thin air.

If the assests belong to NIA, there's no way the C-in-C will not be briefed. If GEJ didn't include it in handing over briefings (which was already kick started before PMB was sworn in, due to volume of information), the DG as a matter of compulsion must have briefed the C-in-C very early in his tenure...And efcc then can only burst such safe house ONLY on the authorization of C-in-C...

This was not so apparently, the efcc acted on Intel and found that the 'whistleblower' was right after all, then they took to the media.

The politician(s) who stole and kept such volume of forex are very smart and knows exactly that the only agency that can claim the "existence in secrecy" of such assets will be the NIA. The NIA which most Nigerians don't even know existed (which is the objective), will have the right to defend any secret assets and the outcome of such defence/investigation will still be made secret if things will be done accordingly. Hence the thieves were very smart in linking the money to NIA.

Now the dicey thing about drilling DG NIA is that if the forex belong to NIA truly (which chance is very slim), then the country has made a fool of itself in Espionage parlance. This is exactly what the former spy chief is really concerned about -the manner the issue is being handled. The myth and strength of spying is the secrecy.
If the money doesn't belong to NIA, then the thieves won't be named either in order to protect NIA itself (coz questions will be raised).

Either way the efcc has failed in it's objective ab initio first of curbing corruption and secondly of creating public awareness of the agency 'catching thieves'.

Herbert Horsfall is very right.
Prof Bolaji Akinyemi raised exact similar concerns.

He saw you and fell in love with you.He asked you to be his girlfriend and you accepted him.He was so fond of you,you both went to everywhere togetherߒtook pictures of yourselves, spent lots of time together .Weeks passed, months passed and everything seemed perfect. He couldn't stay a day without setting his eyes on you. He introduced you to his friends as his girlfriend and the woman he would love to get married to.ޠHe showed you love, care and did everything to make sure you were happy .

You went on a date with your friends and you met this new guy who developed interest in you. He said you were beautiful told you all the sweet things you've never heard.. I guess you fell for it ,you both got hooked up ,things started to change. You start comparing him with your guy..... he's more handsome than your man,he has a car and looks more wealthier. You try all means to make your man get tired of you so you could ask for a break. You succeeded and you're now with the new guy forgetting everything your man did for you.

You never knew he's a player and has a fiancee he's intending to marry you found out ,you're heart broken, you wanna go back to your man but it's late.He has moved on now you've lost a diamondߒwhile trying to chase a stone... that's when you know the difference between LOVE and LUST..

Note this...Once a guy's heart gets broken.. He finds it hard to love again. Never compare your man to someone else.Try to build your man to the person you want him to be.The fact he doesn't have a car today doesn't mean he's not gonna have one tomorrow.. Give him time!
I wish everyone can be this wise.
God bless your time and chance.

Kolawole81:
I recently realise i may have TMAU, the worst thing that can ever happen to a man. I get ridiculed by my coworkers and I've heard insults from family members,( especially my mother) about my body odor. I've even had two coworkers spray perfume on me behind my back. My brother and sister cover there noses around me and sometimes avoid me altogether including my father. When I talk with my sister she puts medicated lip balm above her lip. When i am in tge midst of my friends every one lights a cigarette. I brush my teeth twice a day or after every meal and I shower two times a day. I practice good hygiene and I've changed my diet. But I've asked my sister and family if i smell and they say no. I've asked my ex-girlfriend and she is extremely honest with me and she said no. I've asked close friends of mine and they've said no. It seems to vary from time to time. Yet just yesterday on my way to buy fuel from the filling station : NOW LISTEN TO THIS..

He dropped the fuel pump, gave me a look of horror, what came out of his mouth was a shrieking cry of revulsion as he fled. People around the vicinity covered their noses and looked at me. All this despite the fact my car Windows were up. I hit the accerator on impulse to flee and almost rammed into a metal barrier. I ran home and began to cry., then I realised how stupid it was if me to cry, I locked all Windows and stuffed tissue paper to cover any hole, watched National Geographic all day, vowing never to leave my house ever again.Screw my job, I quit,

.....the thing is I can't smell anything bad. In fact, I smell the perfume I spray and the lotions and soaps I use. I've never had this problem before and I am very frustrated, disappointed, angry, paranoid and I can go on with a two page essay on how I feel. How am I suppose to function in the world if I MAKE PEOPLE FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE AND REPULSE? AND MOST IMPORTANTLY WHY IS THAT PEOPLE MAKE THE FACES OR COVER THEIR NOSES BUT WHEN YOU ASK THEM DO YOU SMELL THEY LIE? YOUR HURTING MY FEELINGS BY THE THINGS YOUR DOING AND NOT LYING TO MY FACE WHEN I CONFRONT YOU............ I really can't smell anything bad about myself and truthfully I am withdrawing from family and friends and on the verge of committing suicide. Why should I have to cope with this problem I have no control over and expect the world to be understanding and compassionate................
As folakemigeh puts it. It's a spiritual metaphysical attack. Someone has cast a spell on u a smelling spell...Maybe a girl u offended or cheated, a coworker who u have offended or beefing your success.

And it may be anybody who's just vexed of your happiness for no reason.

Just talk to God, pray.
Give alms (very important)
Be humble, treat every human with dignity and respect.

Seek elderly counsel if you're a cultural person.

About igbos being hated and envied, that's not completely true, everyone is hated and envied -the fulanis for their cow business, tivs for their farming, southsouth for their oil etc but the igbos like to appear as the only victim in every illfate that happens to them.

Even the so called North have been a victim of its own ineptitude. Their land has been ravaged by wars and strangers from other African countries have capitalised on their primitive tendencies to cheat them. They're also suffering for drawing this country back.

True he's reconciling and aportioning blame at the same time but that's exactly the truth...None, not a single Igbo governor or highly political personalty speak out for Nnamdi Kanu the way Fayosi and FFK did.

Prof. Anya was right about igbos - no matter how well intentioned we (igbos) are, our mouth run faster than our minds..."we talk too much".

Yorubas don't need igbos gratitude. No
They need Igbos to stop seeing Yorubas as their enemy because in reality, the North doesn't care one bit about the East...

Just saying! RIP to the dead.
Just saying what is not...Dr Deji is a silent wealthy fellow who according to reliable info had warned his elder brother to quit politics.

2. As rich as Jagaban of bourdillon is, he is still a poor man beside Deji Adeleke. (You can do your findings).

3. The adelekes are very rich...Their dad (Davido grandpa) was very rich before becoming a Senator in 2nd republic.

4. The late Adeleke was a man of class. He campaigned with choppers as far back as 1992. He won on all sides and became first executive governor at 37years old.

5. He paid double salary to ALL Osun state workers who had to relocate due to state creation from old Oyo state. And he employed several casual workers then without any qualification into the Civil service back then.

He was a philanthropist.

NB As rich as he was even as a 2-term Senator, his younger brother Dr Deji Adeleke (Baba Olowo gangan, David's Dad) is far wealthier than him.
Osun is too poor for Deji to nurse the idea of succeeding him.

May his soul rest in piece.

Nobody needs any book to know the West was involved in GEJ removal whether he was corrupt or not.

And JEGA was culpable too when the war-thorn regions have their voter's card ready and distributed while the less disturbed Southwest states of Ogun and Lagos were waiting for eternity to get cards.

Orubebe saw what we didn't see and these cabals knew including Jega.

The INEC building that got burnt few weeks to election was part of a greater plan.

The North had been favored during voter's registration when minors were registered! And their cards were given to them to vote. That is Rigging from First Principle.

Even if everybody in the South had voted GEJ, he would have lost too because the deed was already done and Gej was aware...As the C-in-C he had access to any information and made an informed judgement by conceding quickly...

Hillary losing was Karma for Obama and the US cabals.

FamilyRe: My Family Treats Her Bad And Now My Wife Wants To Leave Me by mytym(m): 10:17pm On Apr 26, 2017
deleSayo:
Since I married my wife, we noticed signs subtle signs that my family dont like her.

From day one of introducing her to the family, my elder brother's wife treated her with so much disrespect and everyone else followed suit. We ignored this and proceeded to marry.

For trad wedding, I gave money to my parents to help purchase the items for her bride price but on the day,  I was pained to see that the items were significantly incomplete (my wife noticed this too and kept it in her heart). She later told me that she saw my parents looking bored at the church wedding;as if they couldnt wait to leave. I was surprised because I saw that too but thought my wife hadn't noticed.

When we fell pregnant, they failed to acknowledge my wife's pregnancy throughout until the birth of the baby. Furthermore, my mother failed to show up for omugwo, leaving us alone to care for the newborn child.

All these things have built up resentment in my wife. She takes out the frustration on me. Things are so bad that my wife has completely isolated herself from all members of my family. She refuses to communicate with them or attend any functions.

Recently, I got wind that she is making secret plans to abscond with our baby and go live with her mother who is based abroad. Please I dont want to lose my wife. She's the best thing that ever happened to me but I can see clearly that she now despises both me and my family.

The marriage is in shambles. She believes that I failed to defend and protect her. not that I didnt feel the pain. Its just that I didnt know how to handle the situation. Please how can I resolve this?
For the bolded, I'd say you shouldn't have gotten married yet, coz you're not mentally ready for marriage.

But again, from the bolded you're sincerely naked and your sincerity is obvious even to the blind...I think your maturity is enough. Be bold, be brave and let your folks know She's the woman you have chosen. Be courteous too...If they refuse to yield. Set clear healthy distance and make them realise they are creating a polar decision scenario about whose side you're on... Please, with wisdom CHOOSE YOUR WIFE.

Talk to your wife as well, toast her again. No woman will feel good treated in such manner. She'll accept.
