OK, so I'll start off by saying yes I am an introvert. and my daily routine is either I'm reading a book or being on the internet or watching a movie or just allowing my thoughts to consume me literally. Not even MIT has aerospace engineering under mechanical. Can you list the schools that have aerospace under mechanical?? Most schools has aerospace on its own or something like Department of Mechanical and Aeronautical , school of aeronautics and Astronautical Engineering. You can't put aerospace under mechanical. Purdue, Michigan etc.
The schools you're talking of probably don't have aerospace engineering as a course on its own. Aeronautics and astronautical engineering are combined "most" of the time and not with mechanical.

About the electrical engineering you made mention of, most engineering deals with electrical doesn't make them under electrical. I'm not sure of the courses you made mention of but aerospace engineering itself deals with electrical alot too

Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo state, has revealed that, in his administration, the wife, Nkechi Okorocha, has control over four ministries of the government in the state.


Okorocha stated this when the correspondent chapel of Imo state, honoured the wife with the “most outstanding Governor’s wife award” Thursday in Owerri.
The Secretary to the Imo state government, Mr George Etche who represented the governor at the event while singing praises of the achievements of Okorocha’s wife in 6 years also named the ministries under the control of the wife of the Imo state governor.


As part of his presentation, the ministries include, “Women Affairs, Works, Health, as well as the office of the Secretary to the State Government.”


Etche also went further to confirm the statement made by Hon. Chinedu Offor, a lawmaker representing Onuimo state constituency in the Imo state House of Assembly, in which he said that the governor’s wife deserved to be honoured with the award of “Nobel peace prize”


According to Etche,” We should thank God Almighty for given us Owelle Rochas Okorocha who has offered us free education at all levels. We should also thank God for given us his wife, Nkechi Okorocha for putting smiles in the faces of the less privileged in the state.”
“It is difficult to see first ladies do this kind of thing. You see that over 200 widows have gotten houses in Imo state.”


In her remarks, the wife of the Imo state governor, Nkechi Okorocha while speaking on her pet project, She Needs a Roof Project, SNARP, according to her, it was a project for building houses for widows and the disadvantaged in the state, adding that “I am doing this because of humanity.”


“I am pregnant with something. I have a dream one day we will move around communities and we will not find people living in bad condition or in a house without roof.”


She could not hold her tears, when she explained that one of the beneficiaries died few hours the bungalow house was handed over to her at Aro in Okigwe Local Government Area.


“Hours we left, she was pointing at the SNARP project, meaning that she should be taken into the house and that night she was taken into the house, on our way that night we were told that mama has joined her ancestors.”


While expressing her joy over the award, she said, “I am happy that this award is coming from a group that has key into my vision. The only way Imo can be better is to have a media that can understand they have a path to play in the role of development of the state.”

Good morning Nairalanders! I'm posting this at this hour because this is the time I have finally gotten time to myself. It has been a hectic day! I have read this thread over and over and I may have asked a few questions 3 years ago. This place I must say had very insightful information. Very proud of what you guys are doing and welldone.
First off let me start with my profile

I am 26year old lady.
First degree in the UK
Works at one of the Big 4 consulting Firms
Refused visa to the US twice (First time when I was about 10, second time in 2011 when I was studying in the UK)
Parents are American Citizens now.( just got their citizenship last year )
Big brother is an American by work
I don't have an immigrant petition
I was at the embassy today (16th) for my visa interview and the questions asked were not the ones I prepared for as per the frequent ones that appear here on nairaland.
The interview is as follows

Vo: Your Passport pls
Me: pass my passport
Vo: why are you going to America
Me: to spend Christmas with my parents and brother
Vo: your brother? I he a US citizen?
Me: yes he is
Vo: how did he get his citizenship
Me: through work
Vo: oh ok he got h1 blah blah
Me: I'm not sure exactly what visa category it was or he transitioned to
Vo: so you work as an accountant
Me : (correcting him) auditor
Vo: asks a lot of accounting questions I answer
Vo: how is it working in your company
Me: very stressful the job is demanding but you learn a lot.
Vo: so have you thought of applying to one of the offices in the US since your company has presence there
Me : no I haven't thought of doing that and I don't intend to
Vo: I'm going to issue you your visa

Infact my interview date was so close to my travel date, did interview 16th, intending to travel on the 21/22. Just for your information, the original idea for National Service was 2 years of Army service for the males, and one year for the females after secondary school. The idea was dropped due to cost considerations.

not surprised at all. Ogbeni will shock all of u called wailers and ranters that is ur job. We av buried pdp since seven years ago and we will continue to bury them. No hope for pdp in the south west. They will still lose ondo state on saturday to Apc candidate. Pdp d bed rock of of problem we are facing now. If clueless Gej saved in the rainy days we will av readjust and live this situation we find our selves since. We will surely meet in the incoming polls. U will see they way d masses love Apc and Ogbeni. We can not be settling for factianal chairmen that cares about themselves not the people. What they know is greed and pride which is killing them by the day. Pdp will always cry on election day when they see a develop and love party beating them in the poll. They will be scattering themselves up and down till they will change that party to another name. Wailer wait till twenty eighteen governorship election and know whatsup. Till then keep wailing.
