I hope this is not connected to 2018 guber election in d State, because he was already gunning for it. Ahhhh. RIP sir
It is!

Adeleke and Lasun are the biggest threat to Aregbesolas permutations.

And the Deputy Speaker is not even from Osun West where the next gubernatorial candidate should come from according to zoning. This leaves Adeleke and some other not-so-mighty candidates.

One of the 2 major anti-tinubu bigwigs have been removed from the picture now. Everyone has been saying APC will most likely use the same tactic as in Ondo election where some federal APC cabals installed their will- Akeredolu. Now the race is tougher for both the National cabals and pro tinubu cabals in Osun APC.

It's also pertinent to add that the incumbent is not finding it funny with the Local movers and Shakers within Osun APC

Adeleke was supposed to attend a burial at Iwo yday oo. He couldn't because lil illness he had complained about.

The gift of God is without repentance. He could be deep in sin and still delivering hot teachings...

Also, considering what innocent Nigerians in SA have been facing recently, there's still a possibility of framing that man. Not that he's innocent but the arrests and media hype is basically based on the account of 'numerous' ladies in his church.

He was on the run. That's where he got it wrong. Even if he was framed, every person both lawed and unlawed will conclude he is culpable.

Nigerian pastors/ GOs in SA have been for long persecuted by their SA counterparts stating that they (Nigerians) have taken all their members. This and so many other factors should be considered before judging him or anyone....

Pastor Tim seemed like a genuine pastor at least in 2003 when I was opportuned to attend a program here in Nigeria where he was a guest minister. He told us was brought up as devout The Apostolic Church member so the fact that he preaches sound doctrine is explanable.

The fact that he is human means anything can happen, he can f*-k up, the more reason we should not trust men of 'God', but trust only God. God is not a man that he should lie...Only God cannot f*-k up.

It's a sign of endtime, even true believers will be weary...

then where are the Philistines, samarians of the bible,David ruled over the Philistines and isreal, palestinians claims they are the old Philistines just like the Isrealis/Jews of today claim to be the old Isrealites.
Religious claim of the various Abrahamic religions shouldnt be the basis of no peace, buhda came from India that didnt make it more popular than hindu, christ was a Jew that didnt make xtianity more popular than judaism in Isreal.
My own opinion is that the Isreali govt is just playing popularity politics serving the interest of the ultra conservatist ,just like you have the extremist in the muslim world,if America want peace today and its congress backs it,Isreal will have no choice than to shift ground for peace to reign, those people has same right to exist on where they are just like the land the Isrealis are too.
The American economy is controlled majorly by wealthy Jewish decisions...

What premeditated the creation of an Israeli nation in the first place prior 1947? It is this same Jewish objective.

America cannot want peace because it will create the exact opposite of pre 1947 objective. Which is to return, re-create and defend a central physical structure of government and sovereignty of a once powerful Jewish nation, where ALL Jewish people can call home(Zion) as it had been before they became scattered in all nations of the world.

Insanity became associated with Nigerian Christianity when Yoruba's started putting their corrupt minds in it.

Forward thinking in creating a mockery of Christianity, right?
Aside chosen, Igbos predominantly attend saner churches.
Not everyone has time for madness
Ordinarily I'll let it pass, but after checking your posts, I know you are very pained.

Be that as it may, if the whites are not forward thinking they won't expand the Gospel to Africa. With that, they brought other things with them (good, bad and ugly)

The founders of those local denominations meant well and altruistic in their campaign for the gospel, not withstanding whatever mess we have in Christendom now. And that has nothing to do with tribe, the region with highest frequency of churches/denominations will certainly be highly affected with this 'corruption'.

The fact that the church (Christianity in Nigeria) has been reduced to what it is now, has not removed the fact that the west has seen the need to have their own thing way ahead before the east. Also even in Islam and Arabic studies, the Yorubas have seen the need to be independent and start their own local denominations long ago before northerners despite the religion coming through the North... that is forward thinking.

Even the so called Nigerian independence has for long been conceived by the west before any region.

When you want to address issues be very versatile and civil. My best friend is igbo who was born and bred in Lagos. His wife is Yoruba. He's a good man. So I know Igbos are good people but in the words of Prof Anya, "...We (you) make too much noise..."

Apparently there's alot of assumed knowledge and underinformation in your posts that's why I replied.

Car TalkRe: What Makes A V6 Engine Different From Normal Car Engines by mytym(m): 8:52am On Apr 10, 2017
Midas02:
"V6" is an acronym for an engine with six (6) cylinders configured in a V-shaped vertical arrangement over the Main crankshaft (with 3 cylinders in each bank of the engine block). All internal combustion engines are configured with certain number of cylinders, it could be 1,2,4,6,8,10 or even 12 cylinders. All of these configurations are normal and actively used in engines all over the world!. Four (4) Cylinder engines (which I am sure you are referring to as normal) are however most commonly used in cars in many parts of the world (including Nigeria) because of its balance of decent  power, economy, smoothness and reliability. It must be noted that it is possible to have a six (6) cylinder configuration without neccesarily using a "V" arrangement - as a matter of fact, until the last decade the most common arrangement of 6 cylinder engines was the Straight-Six and not the V-6. Examples of cars that used straight-six engines in the last decade include; MB 260/300E V-boot (W124 series), Nissan Laurel, BMW 325/525 (up till date), Volvo 960, Toyota Cressida and Crown (up till 1992) and most trucks including Canter, Dyna, Coaster bus , etc. Whether an engine configuration is arranged as a V-6 or a straight-six has both merits and demerits, however, I will refrain from pushing too deep into such territories here as I do not want to digress!. In automobiles today, the most commonly used configurations are 4-Cylinders, 6-Cylinders and 8-Cylinders, with a popularity in that order. The obvious advantage of having extra cylinders is to give more Power, smoother performance and durability. The disadvantage on the other hand, is that of increased gas consumption and a slightly higher cost of maintenance and purchase. I hope this helps.
Bravo
You just simplified Internal Combustion Engine

todaynewsreview:
There has been series of argument among folks over the few numbers of Roman Catholic members among the Yorubas. It is a common scenario seeing many Yorubas in denominations like The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Mountain of Fire, Living Faith, "White Garment Group of Churches", CAC, among others and even a good numbers among the Anglicans who are even Priests but the main subject of concern is why are there very few Roman Catholics or Revd Fathers of Yorubas?

If you know any Revd Father that is a Yoruba, you may reference him.

I implore oga Seun and lalasticlala to push this thread to front page for more responses.

Thanks.
The Portuguese came from South south nd penetrated the East.

The British (Anglican) came through Lagos and penetrated the whole country.

Lagos is a separate Colony
While there's Northern and Southern Protectorates
The mistake of amalgamation caused this question.

The Yorubas are liberal and forward thinking...That's why they actually founded their own Pentecostals way before the easterners.

Those denominations you listed are mostly Indigenous Pentecostals.. There's Assemblies of God and Lord Chosen ministry in the East as well and even their branches in the West are predominantly flooded with Easterners.

Happy sundAy to you all.

My favourite Bible verse is Genesis 1:1

Share yours
Genesis 1:3

And God said..."Let There Be Light!"

A physics enthusiast or someone with electrical engineering background will know that the greatest invention is the discovery of electricity.

And because man (a smaller god a little lower than the angels) was made in the image of God after 'their' (heavenly convention) likeness, our ultimate objective is to replicate God's works on earth. His first creation being Light.

Maxwell Equations (Electromagnetics) is man's attempt at getting to the root of Genesis 1: 3 . Their summary is that they will tell you there's no electricity without magnetism and Vice Versa...Concepts like Law of Attraction, Quantum Physics Light&Darkness e.t.c are ALL embedded in Genesis 1:1 to Genesis 1:3.

In fact it is Simply the Theory of Everything! As explained in Prof. Stephen Hawking's book-movie.

2. Another favorite bible verse I love is Romans 1:28

As they do NOT like to retain God in their knowledge, The Lord GAVE them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things that are not CONVENIENT.

You're right...An average Fulani herder or not is very organized and trained to protect himself nd cattles in the bush so they are armed with very crude but potent methods, skills and concoctions.

Their Normadic lifestyle has also prepared them to master the geography of any place they visit using natural signs and markers...These are their Core competencies. They're naturally well organized and coordinated and considering the advent of modern riffles they are extremely dangerous.

It won't take much for anybody who has the resources to train them coz they already have natural residual/commando skills.
NYSCRe: Doctor Corper Posted To A Military Hospital Cries Out For Help by mytym(m): 10:17pm On Apr 01, 2017
meilleur:
I AM LOSING MY MIND, KINDLY ADVISE.
I am a doctor and corper, posted to one of the military hospitals in Lagos. I was actually pregnant b4 service and few months in service, I was delivered of a baby.
I was made to observe my maternity leave and I resumed this January but ever since resumption, it has not been easy.
I returned this Jan to meet a newly posted military boss (doctor) who hasn’t made life bearable for my daughter and I
I was initially taking my baby to work, but as a baby, she is susceptible to infections of all kinds. I opted to take her to a day care. I worked 8am to 2pm before this new boss, but now, 8am to 4pm.
And two weekends in a month, I do ‘weekend call’ which makes the matter worse, for such a week, I practically have few hours to spend with my baby and the government is talking of 6 months exclusive breastfeeding. I met with another LGI who said corpers were not meant to do calls.
I don’t need all time off work, all I need is my normal 8am-2pm, Mon to Fri I was doing and I will manage to cope without complaining.
I thought NYSC promised married and nursing mothers a better treatment, if not, I would have waited till this yr, now that I am even 30.
My concern is my baby, she is growing seriously lean by the day, she lacks attention and my boss doesn’t care. She has had persistent rashes and big boils for over a month she resumed day care and its totally driving me crazy.
I went to see my Local govt inspector to complain only for him to chicken out just because a military woman lambasted him on phone, leaving me to my fate.
If something bad happens to my 5-month old daughter, NYSC wld say, "but why were u silent?"
It’s a military setting and really don’t know the process of lodging complaints. My boss seems to be a sadist, maybe not, but she has really never been nice to me.
A scenario; My baby was hot overnight and I felt I needed to watch her a little before dropping her at the day care, and I felt I needed to inform my boss. I called her, no response, sent her a text message of late coming, she didn’t respond only for me to get to work and she said all sorts.
Her own grown child fell ill, she took the day off. If this is what NYSC is all about, it is seriously not worth it! I have 2 months to complete NYSC, but I can’t help seeing my baby in this condition. Even at work, I lose focus.
Can u imagine what a doctor out of her senses can do?? Its tearing me apart!!
Am I taking it too personal or the treatment should be fairer? I am literally losing my mind and nobody is fighting my course.

I was chanced to meet a Soldier that served in the Northeast, 7 Div. he was one of the officers charged with mutiny but have been recalled and awaiting posting after facing the board. His account of what transpired there is shameful for our country. I got him to work as a labourer on a project I supervised not knowing he's a soldier until he was receiving a call one day mentioning Jaji several times in his conversation, I jokingly asked if he's military then he answered in affirmative. He said he's tracking a 'signal' (information on their posting, which might come up any f*-king time). He narrated his ordeal and my attitude to the officers at war was more sober, I had to add 1k to his daily wage as a personal recognition for his time at war. For the few weeks he worked with me, i looked forward to his 'documentary' every day. Despite being a narrative, the pictures are vividly horrid.

He said exactly the same thing as DEATHMACHINE. Funny thing is this Soldier is very skillful in almost any job...He can handle and repair any machine so long it's mechanical/Electrical. I asked him why he's yet to be posted and doing menials, he said when they were dismissed, the senior officers had declared some of them dead and have been collecting their salaries.

So now that they've been reinstated, it's extremely difficult to declare them alive again.
Which shows that their dismissal was shady.

He said he needs the fund to keep body and soul together.
