Banning won't solve it, it will just make some folks richer as they will find means of selling at higher prices and addicts will still find means of getting from them at any price.

People don't get. To take drugs, alcohol inclusive, takes a level of maturity. If one has not attained this level, why not stay away to stay alive?

I have a friend who told me back then that a drop of alcohol always make him misbehave. We went to a dinner and he ordered for an alcoholic drink and I cautioned him, he wanted to fight me and I left him.
The madness he exhibited that day ehn, he still regrets it now. He revealed dark secrets on top of his voice and even wanted to stab a guy that wanted to hold his mouth not to reveal more secrets.
He nearly cried out his eyes the next day when we were telling him all he did.

People do see me as a weird guy when I tell them I don't take alcohol or drugs. It does not appeal to me at all. I can't take something that will make me misbehave and be ashamed afterwards. It's not about being a saint.

I can relate with her story, weeks ago had the same experience with aero coming from Lagos to Port-Harcourt, air-conditioning was not working, and with this deafening noise inside, had to stay on air for like 30mins just for them to say we are having technical issues. They landed us back to Lagos, repaired it and made us board the same aircraft and it went up again and triggered this horrible alarm. In all we landed in Port-Harcourt with so much discomfort and shouts of Hallelujah!
