Corn flakes are a better alternative. Easy to make with or without hot water.
You can crush it so it's finer and doesn't appear too bulky to chew.

Weldone momma.... You can check out purity cereals too or cornflakes as suggested or just continue with the goldenmorn... Afterall it hasn't posed any health issues to him since 9 months up till now..

My baby girl didn't like and didn't take all those smoothly blended cereals too that the woman I buy from had to tell me to stop wasting my money on trying so many brands out but she was constantly running after her brothers goldenmorn and I had to succumb and she has been fine with it.. Less than 2 yrs old...

Though I know it poses some issues in some kids but then our kids will not be sick... Amen

Just my experience and opinion.

Thank you ma, exactly the same thing with my son, doesn't take smoothly blended cereal. It is well and i know nothing will happen, i try to add enough milk to the golden morn.

indeed i am. I just need a back up for when we go out. But at home he eats what everyone is eating.

Goodevening everyone. Am a ftm although my baby is 16mths ��. My bone of contention is this, my baby has been taking golden morn since he was 9mths old. Although now i try to limit it to breakfast or mid morning brunch or sth i give to him when wr are in a public place. I was recently told GM is not suitable for infants younger than 3yrs(didn't know).
I tried giving him pap ge rejected it, oatmeal he rejected it too. Right now am stuck i want to stop giving him GM but i neef suggestions for alternative cereal for his age.
PS he is already eating adult food, he enjoys it too i just want an alternative for him.

Sabi mums please my 4months old has nasal congestion but no fever,he's feeding well but doesn't sleep for long cos of breathing. Please what can we do?

People of God am a first time Mum and my 3m months old has been fussy and crying lately whenever he's scratching his ear and the places surrounding it.
I don't know what to use to help him soothe the itching. It even wakes him up at night and he finds it difficult sleeping afterwards except I carry him around.

Ok dear... it doesn't appear too severe. You can try any of those creams and air free your Baby biko. This na dry season. And give enough breast milk.

If it persist, pls see the doctor.

Do you over cover your Baby? If yes, then pls it should be minimal now bcus we are in dry season and the heat is so intense now.

I would have suggested you stop the use of the oil and powder for now and try any of these anti (allergic, bacteria and fungal) creams ABF, Funbact a or baby tribotan, if the rashes are not so much yet.

The rashes are on his neck,chest and back and they feel rough to the touch. The one on his face isn't rough

Hi mamas, am a FTM and my 7weeks old baby has rashes all over his body, I use only coconut oil and ASDA little angels powder on him I don't know if I should stop applying coconut oil(he's got dry skin)or the powder.

Nycil anti rash powder was suggested to me don't know how effective it is or if it's safe for his age. Thank you

My prince charming was born on 23rd of Sept at 9:25am.
Baby weighed 4.2, I had massive tears but it's all worth it that it ended in praise. BS coming soon after I get a bit of relief.

Mamas in the house I greet everyone and congratulations to the new mums. Am a FTM and Please I need help. I last saw my period on the 17th of Dec and am 29 weeks gone which means my EDD is mid September. (So I thought)
My last ANC on Thurs I demanded to have a scan to actually know my EDD without guessing and to also be on the safe side and I was referred to a lab which I went today and was told my EDD is actually 28August which also means my last period was in November not December as I tot.

Am still confused oo cos in December I had a normal 3day flow and now this does this mean I was pregnant and still seeing period? *Scratches head in confusion* and to top it off am yet to shop.
I need advice cos the very first scan I did showed 9th of Sept(this will be the second scan)

Story of my life, am a first time mum and am 11 weeks gone, I used to work with a movie production company but had to quit cos my boss told me due to the stressful nature of my job, I had to quit.

I recently just got married too and I had plans to work atleast 6months before I start thinking about babies, but we all know God always has a different plan from ours.


I've been sick and not been going out although I don't vomit, hobby leaves home as early as 5am and comes back sometimes 9pm,

Anyways lemme not bore you all, I've been craving seemingly unhealthy foods like zobo, pineapples,abacha(African salad) nkwobi, isi ewu and the likes and I've been told not to indulge in them cos of some active ingredient in them which can cause miscarriage, am scared cos I can't eat. I hate vegetables I can manage fruits but I want sth stronger that can help curb my spitting frequent sickness I've read stuff on line and my fear is 2x more.
Please I need help and I can't start ante natal until am 3months gone.
