Frodd looks like someone who despite all his achievements outside the house still needs to be acknowledged and it doesn't seem like he's getting it .

Alex is desperate to prove a point to herself and the audience...writing her crappy scripts and wanting to sell it to us as a masterpiece...

CeeC looks downtrodden. ...I don't think it's because of how she was received in the post season , I think her life outside the house might not have worked out the way she hoped


The rest of the guys from Soma , Ike , Adekunle and Co look like they're badly in need of money 😁


I don't see mature people, I see broken people...trying hard to hide their brokenness in the veil of maturity.

Life has greatly humbled them and in the coming weeks the cracks will continue to show.

Leaving early might be a blessing in disguise for some of them .

I swear. He even failed to answer the questions big brother asked him correctly. Biggie asked him how he intends to sell himself this time,but Soma started talking about how he was hopeless and planned to Japa next year before the he received Biggie's call. Biggie drew his attention to answer the question he was asked and he said that viewers will feel him.

He acknowledges that he's the least deserving housemate to be back and he was surprised to see Ilebaye. He's a natural flirt and isn't sure of any relationship in the house.

It's sad that he's still one of the weakest this season.

Big brother asked Soma to talk about his last experience in the house.

He confesses that when he saw the other male housemates he was so confident that he would win. He said he was the finest, baddest freshest etc.... He's hyping himself in diaryroom 😂 (still hasn't learnt).

💥 Boom, he left in the second week and got depressed for a while. His self confidence was negatively affected.

Soma in the Diary room tells big brother that it's a dream come true for him to make it to the all stars after his early eviction about 6 years ago. He's grateful and his return is a win for him already.

There were a lot of comparisons made by people between Bryann and Laycon during the Level Up season, so I considered it a valid comparison. I agree that we can't have a solid consensus on comparisons like that, although I don't think it necessarily subtracts anything from my initial argument.

Bryann was 100 times better than Laycon.

Emi Laycon was chosen on stage because his people felt that it was their turn since they never won the show 😂.

Rational knowledge (from school, books, documentaries, sports, current affairs, history etc ) - OZO was number 1

Empirical knowledge from experiences/ Exposure (what different continents look like, foreign cultures etc) - KIDDWAYA was number 1.

Dedication to tasks, innovation, directing and brainstorming - Triky tee was number 1.

Every Head of House considered Tricky Tee important. He literally carried every single general and group task in that house. His contribution to the house was near perfect that he left on the same day with OZO even though he had a small fan base. He was so hardworking and you'll reconsider how you'll attempt difficult task as an housemate if he leaves the house. Dude was rarely nominated by housemates because of his contribution.

Public Speaking and Presentation skills - Vee was better.

Even claiming street and finishing biggie's food- Neo was better. At least Efe topped this category in his set 😂

Laycon was nothing special. An average, basic hopeful young Nigerian with a mixtape who became the season's favourite for the worst dressed entrance in the show's history.

I stand by what I initially wrote and I own it with my full chest. I only edited it because I thought you will understand the new sentence more.

If you go back to the quote you posted that contained this sentence before I modified it, you'll notice I put "hard work" in inverted commas. I was suggesting that chance or grace is a much bigger factor than any amount of work you can put in on a show like this.

Do you know why you're constantly tripping over yourself in this conversation? It's because you didn't bother to understand the context of my discussion with Alphagan, before you unceremoniously barged into the debate just because you saw Laycon's name in my post. At great pains, I'll now try (again) to clue you in on what the subject matter here really is...

No one is arguing about who deserves to win more than the other. Every housemate on the show put in roughly the same amount of effort to get a spot on the show in the first place. The argument I was making is simply this: as a housemate who has already been cast on the show, you cannot control how you are perceived by the audience, no matter how hard you try.

You can try and form a strategy or map out a game plan that you feel will take you to the money. But on a show like BBN that relies on public votes which are often influenced by the sentiments of the viewers, your strategy is useless if you don't have the appeal or favour of the audience to back it up. BBN is a show where the most popular housemate wins out. Do you mean to tell me you can have total control over how popular you're going to become when you feature on the show?

Ask people like Praise and Eloswag just to mention a few. These guys came to showcase how fun they are. Look how much good it did for them. They ended up as inconsequential non-factors in every popularity poll of their season. No one gave a shit about them.

Ask people like Daniella. She was easily unique when it came to tasks based on intelligence and creativity. She easily stood out among the other housemates. Articulate, sharp and highly intuitive. At the same time, she was the youngest in her season. How far did her "hard work" take her?
