True! The last time I checked it was 31 weeks, Now 51 Weeks? They are really crazy, So they don't want someone to move forward because some people here submitted through paper route and I am very sure there passport is with them. That means if one decide's to visit another country in the course of there processing, then that person is stuck on Canada! Bullshit. I don't blame them, It's our stupid government that I blame, If our country was better, This wouldn't be the case. Imagine ghana that is our neighbor the processing time is 8 weeks. And do you know how many agents or VO assistant are currently scouting these threads to know more about whatever we are talking about and to change tactics? Have you heard of Edward Snowden? Basically, you just need a letter addressed to the VO detailing : WHY THE PROGRAM, HOW THE PROGRAM WILL ASSIST YOU REACH YOUR CAREER & ACADEMIC GOAL, WHY THE SCHOOL, WHY CANADA ETC and any other good stuff you can think about that would mesmerize the VO.

Alright. How about if I provide them with my SOA and they do not see any monthly salary payment to my account? What am I suppose to do and there are no payslips to tender? Because I get paid directly from my brother and it doesn't state for the purpose. I need to ask one more question. Is it possible to get a study leave of up to 4 hours as the program I am going for is UG. Any more advice?

Bros people work in other people's company without any relationship attachment.
You might be making yourself appear too dependent on your family.

The same thing happened to me, I work in my sister's establishment and she was my co sponsor.
she clearly stated in her letter of co-sponsor that i have worked with her for 2yrs which was another reasOn for her sponsorship apart from the fact we are siblings.
It all makes sense but the disadvantage is that you might be giving yourself off as too dependent and incapable of fending for yourself.

I am removing her entirely from my next application, I am only going to add the telex copy of part of my tuition she paid to represent her contribution incase the V.O decides to question why I removed her as a sponsor.

P.S because of my position at the company my salary was irregular, some of the company payments came through my account but I had to make the salary monthly and paid directly into my account instead of trying to explain to those sadist at CIC looking for excuse to throw away ur app.

Make sure you don't state that you work for your brother.
Just get employment from him like you would from any other company stating your position at the I.T department if the company.

Hmm. I thought it's advisable I do so, As he is one of the directors of the company and by me working voluntary in the IT department, Shouldn't I state that in my SOP so as to serve as a home-tie to the VO, because If I say I just work for them without starting clearly how I gained ground in the company, Wouldn't that raise some red flag? I still need the doc I do need to request from the company so as to submit together with the CIC Form.

1.With the information below, you can get a letter from your as the manager of the Farm from inception ( 1 year, 4 months now)
2. If he does not have letter heads, he has to get one sample are even online. Am assuming that the CAC certificate is Jan. 2014.
In that case he is the CEO, you are the manager and his phone will be the contact and the area of operation will be the office address.
3. You said you had java programing training / certification ? ( forgive me my net is bad, so unable to refresh my memory)
If yes, it took you some time to do that, right ? Something around 6 Months.
4. In your SOP, you could explain that you have been assisting your brother since he got the oil company work, you need to specify exact date here. And that the success you achieve in his informal made him set up the farm and give you the role of Manager.
5. Speak with your brother, he should be able to get you something with input from his HR department. You case is good since you are not using the farm for sponsorship neither are you doing self sponsorship.
Remember you only need to convince the V.O that you have not been idle since you left high school.
All investigation in this particular regard if at all, will end up on your brother's table as long as the Farm has CAC CERTIFICATE

6. Your Bro. must be willing to give you his SOA, letter of employment and last promotion(if applicable), property if he has, etc
7. Stop worrying. Let nothing prevent you from submitting your application. Pray GOD to complete in the eye of the V.O.anything incomplete.
Am positive that you will smile soon and say a Big Thanks to NL family soon.
Read back, that will encourage you as you will even see people who have less that what you have access to, chopping TRV.

I not think using his company letter head and working as an assistant to his farm business is a good idea as it does not tally to my course of study, but me using the company's letter head and a reference letter from someone there might be credible. Or what do you think? I will also try and find my shares certs I bought while I was working around mid 2008/2009. And My birth certs. I do not want to over submit certs so that they won't see me as someone trying to impress them because they so much despise that. I will submit whatever documents I have with no false info there, and I pray that my VO will be touched with by the GRACE and FAVOR of GOD. Thanks once again for your advice. Also, I do not think reading back to 2009 since this thread started is something I wanna do as I have other things to do.

Brov, What proof are you talking about? You know these cyber cafe companies doesn't issue employment offer/pay slibs when there employee are not up to 20 individual. What other proof do you think I can get from them? Most of the people I know way back then aint there no more and the company has reduced to almost 2 employee. So there is nothing much those two new people could do. But I am still thinking of what to do. More advice from peeps is appreciated.

Do you think I have allowed enough processing time for my application to be fully accessed and granted? Also, Isn't it advisable to be in Canny within one month of resumption date as I have heard?

Computer Science. Related to the professional course completed this march. I completed a 6 month's course with Aptech Computer Education in Java Programming. And during my years absent in educational background, I was working with a cyberlink communication, Which handles/ prints and operates internet services, but my only problem is when I was working for them, I wasn't issued an employment letter neither do I have any pay slibs, So that is my issue now. So what else do you guys have in mind to help me with?

Well, I never believed in %100 because I have been told of so many visa agents making mouths with false claims. I am careful anyway that was why I cam eon here to seek more knowledge and advice from my fellow Nigerian studying in Canada on how their process went. IMO, i don't think you should complicate issues for yourself by putting any work documents from your farm if you haven't been working there, if they find you out its way worse. A good SOP and well written CV will do it in your case. You said you've been doing other little jobs, talk about it and how it relates to the course you want to study and why you need the degree to break through the glass ceiling in your field.

Focus more on showing that your brother can sponsor you easily (bank statetements, pay slips, property docs, pension, his farm documents) and pray for favour.

Sure, I will. I was working with a big cyberlink company that has branch in Surulere and Ikotun as a Cyberlink attendant/assistant, and I wasn't issued with an employment letter or pay slips. I am focusing more on my brother's sponsor documents. Bank statement, 6m closing bal as at March 31st. 4 months back pay slips, No property docs yet neither pension. Offer of Employment from his current work as an engineer in oil firm, CAC from Farm business is available as well contact number, Do not have any idea if company letter head is available.

It's too early for the farms details to be used for ssponsorship.....no stability have been attained. If your brother uses it as his source of funds it won't hold much water in the VOS sight.

I do not plan on focusing more on putting the farm business as an additional documentation. I think all I will provide would be his SOA, 4 months back pay slips.

If anybody has any more idea/advice he/she should not hesitate to provide it here.

P:S: I am also in communication with an agent asking me to pay 150k for him to help me process my application, and I provided him with all documentation to use, but he insisted that I am almost behind schedule and that once he arranges my documents and process my application for me, that he knows a Canadian Immigration personnel that he would need to send all the documents for fast processing. I don't know if this is true or not. Is there anybody that could confirm this? And I need advice as well. Thank you.

You mean your brother or his representative managing the Farm for him will deny you when he is the issuing authority
You can only fear if the farm is not true. If its true, it should have registration certificate from CAC, should have letterheads, phone number, office address.
In your own interest please readback as much as possible up to thread 6 or even 5, then you will have nothing to fear to but just to prepare to receive the success. Best wishes

The farm is true. Infact it was set up Jan 2014. So I cannot have a rep from the company write and provide me an employment letter and pay slips because It was recently opened. Also, I'm looking looking for an alternative. I do not know wat to do at this time and need an advice.

U have no problem in getting TRV if u believe...just make sure u get an employment letter from ur brothers farm stating that since u finish ur waec u have been doing a volunteer work in his farm or u get an employment letter and pay slip from any company ur brother knows . The company can help u with an employment letter and pay-slip just for formality. I guess that will cover for all the loopholes .

Thanks for the advice, But one more thing that came to my mind, This peeps in question. They do thorough investigation in verifying documents. So if they get in contact with the company to verify if I've worked there and the company denies knowing me. Wouldn't that trigger a false documents in my application?

Greetings to the successful applicants and the ones that are yet to receive their TRV or submitted. I am a 27 years old aspiring study permit applicant, However, my last educational qualification is a Professional Java Programmer Professional course which ended March 31st. . I obtained my Waec result 2008, so since then I haven't attended any polytechnic or university in Nigeria till date. Only been working minor works, which I was not employed with my Waec certs or any other certs. However, I am applying as an undergraduate student with a college in BC, Canada and I have gotten my admission letter and My resumption date is September 8, Which Orientation which is compulsory is August 24. and paid my one year tuition fee. With the receipt and the help of my sponsor(My brother) working in the oil firm with an closing balance of 6m. I need to ask The chances of me applying since my last Educational level from 2008 till 2014 was not known.

P:S, I haven't gotten my latest edu. qualification certs. Which I will obtain before my sbmission. SO if anyone of you have an advice to render, It will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Also, My brother has a farm business which he manages as other source of income added to the income of him working as an engineer.
