So....i just decided to track for the 3rd time today and my application has been dispatched finally. Since I didn't do upfront, am sure it's a denial.....thanks everyone for being there and thanks to God too. At least the tension has ended.

So after 3 months, this people finally refused you! Gosh, they so cruel! I can't imagine the kind of intense pressure you went through during those periods, the fasting and praying, It is well, Just take heart dear! If you plan on re-firing, Take your time, request for your gcms file before you re-fire, so you could fix the errors!

So Good people, here is my dilemma.

I applied on the 2nd of July after the delay of my previous application, got medical mail on the 12th of August, did medicals on the 13th(Passed Update19th), got a request for passport on the same day whilst I was about to leave the clinic.

I've since submitted my passport Since 17th and till now not a word from CiC or CVAC- I dont even know what that means, as someone who applied same day with me (upfront medicals) and got a request for passport same day has gotten her TRV.

What do you gurus reckon I should do, should I wait for a few days, using @eeti as a yardstick, our applications are being treated in sync it seems, save the Passport request I got before him/her-and people with upfront medicals on d day he/she submitted have gotten approvals too last week.

Or should I just storm CVAC and ask for the status of my passport?

Could you please reply to your PM? Need to ask you some few questions please?

Eya, Ada, Take heart, It's definitely going to end in praise! Sounds touching being 10 weeks already and close to resumption date without being called for medicals, You should have opted in for upfront medicals, Nevertheless, Have faith and be optimistic.

Glory to God. I was delayed yesterday based on four reasons:
Insufficient funds, travel history, personal asset, and family ties in Canada n Nigeria.

Truth be told, this CIC style of processing applications for months is the worst ever. They need to review it. Na their mate be USCIS.

So, after rejoicing with you guys and my family for 1 weeks, I received a shocker. Lol! I'm still trying to recuperate. This is a very bad feeling.
All guys expecting TRV, my candid advise, to avoid hypertension, kindly prepare for the worst.
If you have been called for medical, pls, know that that DOESN'T guarantee a TRV.
This is my story.

So sorry! I think there is a glitch in their system during those medicals that peeps were called for medicals and denied! Never give up! Request for gmcs and find out the issh then fix it.

A quick question to those of you that submitted online. Did you bother tracking your application on VFS website? and did it track? If so, How many days/weeks did it take before it tracked? Did you receive any SMS from VFS that your application has been forwarded? I need an urgently answer oo.. Thanks!

I did upfront medical on June 2nd, I submitted online on June 3rd, Biometrics on June 4th. I didn't get any CIC mail, I just checked yesterday and saw medical passed, then an email notification for passport request message today.

When you submitted online and did biometric June 4th, Did you bother tracking your application on VFS? and did it track? Did you receive any SMS from VFS that your application has been forwarded?

I did medical Monday 6 July @ IOM, got first processed and dispatched mail on Thursday 9 July via normal VFS tracking ( generally to few other people too), I discarded it as wrong mail. On Monday 13, got another 2 inbox email -via Accraimmigration that ... Processed passport dispatched again to VAC... I gave it time maybe another mail will pop up till Thursday 16, I went for collection.
@ VAC Lekki, they asked whether i receive mail for documents collection, i told them NO. He then asked for my tracking no, checked via Computer and said is available and gave me.
So, it has been zigzag mail right from time.
I don't think they review medical result they asked for before dispatch! #Shocking!

I'm still in Nigeria got held with some stuffs after the denial , i don't have much thing to say about it ,The only solution to it is to work on the reasons you got denied and u stand a better chance why?? because you've been called for medical once it will make things easy for the VO just my own opinion

I think it is paper route because online route wasn't available back in 2013. Not sure about this. #JustSaying!

Also, that there were 7reasons for the denial (personal assets, travel history, has not satisfied them that he will leave..., current employment status, etc)

Applied May 25. Paper route.
Medical call July 5, done July 6.
July 16... Refused letter...(Insufficient fund)
Am confused... Pls house any situation like this before?

Omg, Is this the new way of attending to May Applicants?? Seems weird to me! Seems so many peeps are experiencing this

Congrats bro once again, but you need to modify your post. The months which you received medical and your passport are June which isn't so.

Biko use his /her Us passport while completing your application and family info form cos these guys have a way of finding out their infos. You do not need to pay application fee for a US born. A US citizen can enter canada, UK with their passport, no visa required, You only pay for yours . Just package your application well and be prayerful( Purpose of visit) cos those guys may feel you wanna go drop in their country again. All the best Regards

Lol, As I did today. I entered bus straight to Lekki, on getting there, I was told Canada did not open today. Due to one stupid holiday which I didn't hear or or couldn't find on the internet. I was in traffic for nearly 2 hours and I was very pissed on hearing the news. Anyway's Is there holiday tomorrow? I know on Wednesday is July 1, Canada Day, So no need of going there. What about IOM? Would they be open on Wednesday Does anybody have an idea?

Here is the timeline of my application: Submission: May 6 Biometrics : May 8 Words can't express how grateful I am to evr1 who has contributed in one way or the other to this success. Special thanks to Anugoson (who vetted d Superlative SOP), Chrigo (who did an explicit review of my shortlisted school while seeking for funding), Oga Siga (while filling my app form, because I was worried my brother residing in Canada could be a major red flag to proven that am not intending immigrant), Tolyem (for his help in collection of police clearance and as well guiding me thru Lagos roads, as am not too conversant wit Lagos roads), Amefrica (for sending me samples of SOP). On my Admission letter, My level of study states "University" while program is "University Transfer" meaning If I get done in the college, I would transfer to a University to complete the remaining two years and get a degree in Bsc. So my question is, Do you think I should email my Admission department to change the "My level of study" to "College Diploma 2 years, so as to avoid the "length of stay" issh, so when I am in Canny, I can decide to transfer to Uni for my Bsc or Continue the above mentioned condition. Thank you.

OMG! guys I just got my medical call 5mins ago. Whoever said there is no God that person should have a rethink. This is my third application although my sop/ application wasn't perfect I still went ahead to pray for God's effortless grace n he came through for me.
God is great guys. U can't get your visa without his grace especially if u've bin delayed before.
N I want to say a very big thank u to Obinna I can't remb his name on nairaland but I meet him here, God sent him as my helper. N also@berexio1 thanks for bin the wonderful human u r and for all your help am highly grateful, urs is on its way.
