Wikki Spring water
|
Wikki spring sprouts out beautiful spa-bath-worthy warm water that has a temperature of 31.1 degrees celsius all year round and amazingly it pushes out 21,000,000 litres of clear spring water out in the Gaji River. Located about 42 kilometres from the main entrance of the park, you can stay in one of the many furnished chalets at the “Wikki Camp” which is the tourist centre of the Park and you can make use of this graceful and elegant natural phenomenon!

Once you visit Yankari, you won't feel like visiting any other national park to see these majestic wild animals. They are in their natural habitat and are not afraid to come close to the vehicles. You can see them hunting, playing, eating, sleeping, mating and fighting. And needless to say, this is a paradise for photographers in general and wild life photographers in particular. It provides a safe harbour for the wild life and has a balanced ecosystem for all kinds of predators, prays and birds to flourish. The anticipation grows, as you keep wondering what would be the first animal you’re going to see. Would it be lionesses’ harem targeting a buffalo bull or an elegantly poised giraffe which stood graciously browsing at the leaves of yellow bark acacia tree. One of the highlights of Yankari Games Reserves is the opportunity to feel the sparking natural warmness of Wikki Spring water. I don’t know if I have any mystical reason why I prefer it to a swimming pool, I think it comes down to the fact that I don’t get to swim in open water very often. I simply like the challenge of open water and that it is outdoors. There is a certain freedom and naturalness to it. Wikki Spring water is relatively calm; you don’t get much in the way of environmental adversity such as waves and currents. So, it tend to have the calmness and simplicity of pools. All the extra judicial killings by security personnel in Biafra has been done by Biafra themselves, if by mistake one Hausa man or a Christian Middle Belter get accidental discharge the whole SE will engulfed in flame and you will hear slogans like Ewu-Fulani-NSDC, Fulani police or Hausa Fulani sofa. But na dem dem, just like the recent Civil Defence that shot one Billionaire politician last year, no outcry from the Albino fraudster |

Regarding intel about USUS/ISWAP having a base in NC Nigeria, i think some people in position of authority do not understand or refuse to understand that when you give lip service to destruction of bandits, you inadvertently allow the local populace to accept the notion that the bandits are an alternate power. You will recall that in 2018 the Niger State government were negotiating with the bandits. And you know in Nigeria, such negotiations is a euphemism for "cash" sharing. Once the cash dries up, the bandits will be back. That is why the bandits are back in force. Almost all the states that "negotiated" are now facing a fierce fight from the same bandits. Why? Because we have shown other youths that violence pays. So a fertile ground is already there for a more organized and stronger group to take over. So ISIS/ISWAP in Nigeria is just a matter of when and not if. Furthermore, because the military does not want to be seen as incapable, their reaction to the advisory from the US African Command is "no cause for alarm". But we both know there is cause because Borno, Zamfara, Katsina, and Yobe have shown that we should all be worried. The African proverb about the house rat inviting the bush rat to come and feast in the house is relevant here. The conditions for the expansion of the ISIS network is already here. And until we get our house in order, we will still be playing the ostrich. |

athaboi:"The son of futa djallon" on my mind. What a shame, same person insulting Usman Danfodio was conferred with a title in an Emirate originated from same Danfodio. Very sad |
In Shinkafi, our cultural memory was mutilated. In Shinkafi, dignity and gravitas died. In Shinkafi, Danfodio was disrespected. In Shinkafi, our history was desecrated. The masses of Shinkafi were insulted. The elders of Shinkafi were dishonored. The youth of Shinkafi were trampled on. In Zamfara, Daular Usmaniyya was spit on. |
He Insulted Our Northern Ancestors,Our Northern Parents,Brothers,Sisters And Also Insulted Us But SHIKAFI Emirate Has Been Conferred Him With Traditional Tittle Of Sadauki Shinkafi....What a Nosense!! Femi Fani-Kayode, has been conferred the traditional title of "Sadaukin Shinkafi" by the Shinkafi Emirate Council of Zamfara state. The Emir said this honour was because of FFK's "support and contributions to the development of the Emirate" I don't want to sound like I am doing bad belle for the former Minister, but Wallahi, I am genuinely interested in knowing what these contributions are. Zamfarawa, mutanen Shinkafi, haka soyayya ke tsakaninku da FFK ? I know I am right to be this shocked. Wow!
