HungerBAD:Dear Zombie, Kindly counter just one. Best of luck Modified: In 2019, we seriously need an aptitude test to screen eligible voters. Too many brainless, gullible layabouts |
These are the major reasons why there is a huge doubt concerning the sincerity of the govt in the fight against corruption 1. Buhari questionable integrity The certificate saga, the source of his campaign fund, the assets declaration shrouded in deceits, these and many more has often called the man's integrity to question. 2. Aisha Buhari alleged link to the Halliburton scandal All the woman needs to do to win over public opinion in this matter is not even going to court, no. Aisha should just board the next flight to US and shame all the "wailers" 3. Burutai Dubai Mansions Let me be careful here. The last time this man was challenged in Zaria, over a thousand lives were "wasted": Genocide 4. Amaechi and Rivers's misappropriated N56B. And he is now a "super Minister". What then Can I say 5. Fashola's N139m 2 Boreholes and N78m websites Another "super Minster" Make I just provide una the links: http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/188050-it-firm-denies-receiving-n78-million-for-fasholas-website.html and also: http://www.pmnewsnigeria.com/2015/08/24/fashola-sank-borehole-at-n69-5m-each-repaired-rural-road-at-n619m/ 6. Kwankwaso dirty deals: Well, if a man single handed deliver 2 million votes, then certainly he is entittled to the "98%" privileges. Abi? but Ganduje nearly spoil the show http://pulse.ng/politics/ganduje-i-will-expose-kwankwaso-s-atrocities-governor-says-id4808768.html 7. Fayemi's, Ekiti fund and the N50m golden bed Solid man, solid minerals. No shaking, he was the chairman of APC primary election that played out Atiku via dollarization of the convention. Make I shut up I beg, before...... |
olajide8:Shhhhhhhhhhhh This discussion is not for apes |

Goke7:Revisit you olevel economics. The only thing that can discourage hoarding is when supply exceed demand price is not a factor in discouraging hoarding The first silly thing this govt did was making NNPC the sole importer. very daft. Now, the prices will go as high as 200. Every time you engage a zombie, instead of a brain storming debate, you have to start schooling them anew. #smh |

News reaching Arise News has it that protest is ongoing right now by the third set of beneficiaries of the highly successful Youth Enterprise With Innovation in Nigeria (YouWiN!) A job creation innovative programme that was a brain-child of Ngozi Okonjo-Iwealla under Goodluck Jonathan administration. The protest is on now at the main gate of the Federal Ministry of Finance, Abuja, Nigeria. The highly successful scheme that has created thousands of jobs since its inauguration in 2011 has produced three sets of beneficiaries. The first two sets of beneficiaries of the scheme have received all their grants, while the 3rd set that were supposed to receive their grants in three instalments (called tranches) have received first tranche in January 2015. Most second tranches were paid in May, 2015 before the GEJ administration handed over to this present government. Ever since it had been from one story to another. Most YouWiN awardees have been frustrated as the YouWiN Secretariat always give them vain hope of disbursements of the remaining part of the second tranche and the payments of 3rd tranche that was supposed to be the final tranche payment. This unbearable development has not only handicapped all YouWiN 3 awardees businesses but it has also held them ransom as the continual promises kept all the awardees from looking elsewhere for loan or support. From our correspondent interaction with some awardees we gathered that The YouWiN! Secretariat was alleged to have blamed the undue delay in paying the awardees on change in policies resulting from change of government. Precisely the bulk of the blame was on the proposed speedy implementation of the TSA. According to the source that spoke to Arise News correspondent, "between February and early March 2016 a few awardees that were yet to receive their 2nd tranche were slowly paid; still leaving some awardees that were yet to receive their 2nd tranche unpaid. And till now nobody have received anything as 3rd tranche." He lamented. Also from the confirmed reliable information available to Arise News, the YouWiN programme was jointly sponsored by the the federal government of Nigeria, the World Bank, Julius Berger and some commercial banks in Nigeria. Arise News also confirmed that before Goodluck Jonathan handed over, all the remaining funds needed to complete all the tranches (payments) was deposited in the different partner commercial banks awaiting approval by the Federal Ministry of Finance for disbursement to the awardees. When the APC administration took over, rather than giving approval for disbursement to all YouWiN 3 awardees that have satisfactorily met their milestones and recommended for payments; an order was given that all the funds should be unconditionally pushed to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). And that marked the beginning of the ordeal of these young innovative YouWiN 3 awardees that have forced them to sack not fewer than 4,500 of their workers. The 1,500 third batch beneficiaries of the YouWiN programme have been groaning under the yoke of none payments of their remaining tranches by the government and they said that they have exploited all possible means of dialogue only to keep receiving promises of "Soon" "A couple of weeks" "A few weeks" from the YouWiN Secretariat that always ended up with another promise of "Very soon". This has forced them to adopt the option of a peaceful protest to appeal to the government to fulfil their own part of the contract, since the last administration with the other YouWiN partners including World Bank have made the total funds available before handing over on 29th May, 2016. An awardee who pleaded anonymous also confirmed to Arise News correspondents that the massive protest is also on going on twitter with the hashtag: #SaveYouwin3Businesses

A gubernatorial aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu has accused the Edo State Governor Adams Oshiomole-led administration of receiving over N1 trillion since the beginning of the 7-year tenure from the Federation Account and Internally Generated Revenue (IGR), squandering the said sum on inflated projects that were distributed unevenly across the state. Ize-Iyamu, who is a former Secretary to the Edo State Government made the assertion via a paper he presented at a town hall meeting held on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 in the state capital, Benin, organised by a group called the House 2 House Initiative. The paper which was titled Edo State Economy: The Way Out also accused the government of focusing on only sectors of the economy to the detriment of the critical sectors, especially poverty, unemployment, agriculture, industry, tourism, sports, housing. He, however hailed the state government for increasing the IGR of the state from N300 million to N2 billion. He said: “Edo State Government in the past seven and a half years received over N1 trillion as revenue from the Federation Account and IGR. This is unprecedented in the revenue profile of the state since its inception. This huge revenue was unfortunately not used to grow the economy of the state but squandered on highly inflated projects that were not evenly distributed across the state. “They were restricted to one or two sectors to the detriment of other critical areas. The evils of poverty and unemployment were not tackled while sectors such as agriculture, industry, tourism, sports, housing, solid minerals were ignored. Existing factories like Bendel Brewery, Edo Line, Edo Courier, Edo Hotel and Bendel Insurance have been allowed to collapse. “A government that chooses deliberately to ignore agriculture, industry, tourism, sports, solid minerals, etc cannot be seriously concerned about the economy of the state. The present government has, however, made serious effort at increasing the internally generated revenue of the state from N300 million monthly when they came in to N2billion monthly. This is commendable.” |
APC e-rats , I need answers . pronto |
1. Is the budget still padded? What is the new budget cost for feeding the president, for the Villa clinic, for telephone extension for gate house and other scandalous figures inserted in the budget. 2. Is it still a zero based budget? I remember how vice president wont let us hear word about how their budget is a zero based budget even when other government functionaries try to educate him on the real meaning of a zero based budget. My question is has the VP been schooled enough or is he still insisting that a budget whose 50% of recurrent expenditure has already been expanded before signing as ZBB? 3. What percentage of the budegt is still been targeted to be achieved? With 45% time gone, are we still expecting a 100% implementation of the budget? 4. How much is budgeted for the president frequent trips abroad? Nigerians derserved to know what they are paying for the endless global junketing of Mr, president 5. What are the terms of the various borrowing to finance the budget and what project are they tied to? Since our children will be paying for these, we deserve to know if these projects are long term projects they will grow up to enjoy 6. Is there provision in the budget for the amnesty been illegally given to members of the BH? |

1. Bukola Saraki : He was the brain behind the nPDP, mocked the the then president but I’m sure he is full of regrets. 2 BBOG : One chief reason why the missing girls are still not found is that this group chose to politicise the whole thing. From daily sit outs to press releases, to processing they use every opportunity to abuse the then president but today, after a one off dinner, Buhari has no time for them again. The last meeting they held with him, he angrily walked out on them. And just last week when the sought the attension of his wife, she was more interested in beauty therapy. LOL 3 Benue indigene : The own reward for voting for the “change” scam is Fulani herdsmen ethnic cleansing 4. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso: A PDP governor who sold out and contributed 2m vote is being ostracized by his new party both at home and national level. 5. Others lost on the way side include Tam West, Solodu, Falana, Oby, Atiku, Tinubu,........
