Ezinwannem:that's good Gonorrhea:LOL @topic after reading this, it makes me want to do something. |
hair is hair, as long as it looks good, who cares
true, even the most expensive weave can look crappy if not worn properly. mohawkchic:see, i don't like the thought of wearing dead people's hair. |
mohawkchic:i didn't know that some of the hairs come from russia, i always thought that they came from korea and when i was younger, people used to joke and say that it (hair extension) were horse hair (don't know how true it is though). |
i like the show. i just started watching it because my brother got me into it. they only funny person on the show is uncle Curtis. |
@ poster like that's any better. if you wanted to claim another nationality at least claim something that would give you benefits. *shakes head* |
Feministic:. well growing up, i didn't think i was different because all my neighbors were either african american or african(mostly). in school (elementary), we were are either african, AA, of latino. when we moved to our new neighbor, there were more AA and latino and only one old white ex-police officer who never showed his face. it was only in middle school that i knew i was kind of different (refering to my nigerian heritage) because almost all of the kids were AA. there was like 13 dominicans in the whole school and they were all cousins and few whites. in high school, that's where i felt more comfortable bacause it was a very diverse school. almost of all my friends were foreigners or children to foreigners so will talked and compared our different cultures. so i basically felt pretty close to africa/nigeria. with my parents, they fit in perfectly without losing their africaness (if u know what i mean). they were protective of me because they thought that every AA was out to get you. lol. that was back in the days but they're over it. |
that man is looking for green card to the USA.
why u say that? |
this is out the random but if homosexuality is illegal in nigeria, how come the church is still running? |
BlackMamba:oh, i never knew that and it makes sense. |
HCH3COO:so you're following me? ![]() |
SeanT21:that's why i didn't care to much for it. especially when they did part 2 on the black man, the focus mainly on crime and violence and they said its supposed to be "non bias". yea whatever. maybe its just be and my "african" mentally as some would. some of my AA friends would talk about "the struggles about being black in america. when i tell them that i don't experience what they are talking about or its not that bad. they always say"you wouldn't understand, you're not american." last time i check, i was born and raise in america. then they'll say "well, you're not american american ". well i guess we can never "really" understand them (AA) and their struggles. |
SeanT21:i'm not putting all the blame on them. the school's condition doesn't even matter. you could still learn under the crapest enviroment. |
SeanT21:i completely agree with you. its not the teachers fault 100% but they do crap. doing nothing is just as bad. |
HCH3COO:okay HCH3COO:make sure u stay out trouble. |
If it was about NO EDUCATION FOR THE MONGOLIANS AND BLACKS, I would have taken this thread serious. Wetin them need bars for?
yea, its kind of lame but discrimination is wrong whether it has to do with education or bar. |
HCH3COO:Right. you're always "exchaning ideas" with people. HCH3COO:thanks, i need to change it though. |
you 2 are still arguing. |
I love Black People but some are just too damn stupid. How the hell can they live in America where education is free and still decide not to go to school. When they grow up they will amount to nothing and Blame it on the white men.true but sometimes teachers would tell a stident that he or she is stupid and that they can't do anything with their life. still not an excuse but some people just need motivation. my high shool had to be the most unmotivated school. once our former principal(who was white) left, and replaced with a black principal, i felt like i was in prison. we couldn't do anything. Black people are the largest race with HIV. Take a look at BETs Hell Date. They are all freaks. They make nasty shows like Flavor of Love and they show Him having sex with many women he do not even know. How is this helping the black society?so true. i was watching cnn this week, and the said that the reason why black peole have the highest rate of HIV/AIDs (don't know how true this is) is because we have this gene that makes it easier for us to get HIV than other races. CNN Blacks in America should be re-named African Americans in America. We Africans do not live like that. We try to better ourselves. We Do not sit around and smoke weed all they.that's why i was kind of disappointed in the documentary. they should have specified which black group they wanted to talk about because we all didn't have he same struggle and history. |
Feministic:why its hard for some women to find a man, or why we are equal, or why peole divorce, u know the usual and i don't have the enery for that. i'll reserve it for another day. |
SeanT21:true some stereotypes are base on real ideas but black people i don't think are all that bad as people make it seem. at least not all of them. |
Feministic:i'm not even talking about all of what you are mentioning. the main thing is respect from both person. women should respect their husband and vice versa. no one should be a slave to no one. if i start disecting your post, it's gonna lead me into another subject so i just going to leave it at that. |
Feministic:some women feel that just because they are educated and have a good job, they don't have to listen to anyone including their husband and sometimes they don't respect them. some of them act as if they are waiting for a divorce just so that they can "prove" that they are capable of doing things on their own. |
SeanT21:i'm not saying this as an excuse because its not. sometimes i see how people act rudely towards black people and of course black people being already an aggresive bunch are going to show you something. like the police for example. i live in a pretty much all black area but they have white police officers and "some" black serving our district and let me tell you, them officers don't play. you're walking down the street minding your business and all of a sudden they want to see an id, for what. i had to show my id a couple of time. when i go to the station, its worst. they stop those that they think"look" like criminals and ask for id. i ain't gonna lie, sometimes the black people give them attitude and then the next thing you know, they're calling for back up. |
@ poster the one's that expect money are your gold diggers Feministic:and those are just your man LovePeddler. |
because women these days have that stupid "independent woman" mentality. |
Stupid people. na only sunglasses they fit snatch. what about the jewelries he's wearing? shior
haha |
are we talking about blacks in general or just africans? well anyways, i wasn't aware of africans causing trouble in china. but sometimes i think that black people are provoked to act violently because where ever they go, people look at you like you have the word "bad" or "evil" posted on your forehead. |
i think somebody already posted something about this but i forgot which section it was in. but i'll reply anyways: i just think people these days are pathetic. sometimes i try to be fair with people who are not the same race/nationality like me but sometimes when i hear something like that, it makes me to not like some of them and their entire race (i know, i know, it's wrong.) i'm starting to think that black people are the only nice people in the world. (yes i said it) |
ya'll taking it too serious, if he doesn't like nigerian music, who care's, that's his opinion. dang, the name calling is too much. |
Radiant:of course. |
