interesting. . . . Being from the DC area, i would have to say that the map is pretty accurate except that it looks like that whites are now majority? When did that happen? Must've been sleeping and not paying attention. I know that they are moving in fast but not like that.

No need to go there. Plz lets act mature. thank you.

Vquest:
You can be short, but as long as your wallet is fat, you'll never lack for female companionship. I'm not tall; I'm not rich either; but I don't lack for female companionship.
You may have your preferences(in your head) but when you have chemistry with someone most of those physical traits become unimportant.
@ the bolded: that is very true and thats all that matters so I dont know why folks in this thread are getting into their feelings. its not that serious bcuz in the end, when/if u find someone that u truly love, their height and other physical attributes would not be in the back of your mind.

With that said, when i am walking down the street, i am going to admire my tall brothas  grin grin but that does not mean im trying to marry them or anything like that only bcuz he is tall.
CultureRe: Post Pictures Of Traditional Weddings. by naijadiva2(f): 6:08pm On Sep 29, 2010

5"9 my dear thats short o!!!!!! LOL (just kidding)
with my 5"2 frame i'm quite happy with my 6'ft husband - i want tall kids or at least average height, u see its not for me its for my children grin grin grin

no but seriously its all about personal preference, some guys only like dark/light girls so what is the issue if a woman is naturally drawn to a taller man.

For the short guys out there - don't worry there is someone for everyone
anything 1in taller than what i currently am is tall lol.

ada24:
its not clever showing the world how ignorant you are.

RomanceRe: Why Do Girls Worldover Dislike Short Men ? by naijadiva2(f): 3:03pm On Sep 29, 2010
Personaaly, I don't like tall men, I dont want a s ituation whereby I will look like a kid beside my husband or my husband will have to bend everytime we want to kiss or i will have to stretch or elongate my neck like a bird to kiss him orlook in his eye.lol
Well look at it this way, it'll be a way to graudually stretch the body  grin.

I like guys taller than me bcuz im short. Im only 5'3". My dream height is 5'9" but that'll never happen angry. I wear atleast 4" heals but i still feel short bcuz all the other tall ppl (women) are also wearing heels lol.

I don't want my guy to be too tall tho, no 6'ft and above. thats too much for ME.  5'7"-6ft is good for me. Now if he's all that and extra fly then I can adjust my standards  cheesy.
TravelRe: Celebrities You've Met On Board, Airports And Abroad by naijadiva2(f): 4:36pm On Sep 28, 2010
While vacationing in nigeria, I saw "Mr. Ibu" (dont know his real name) at the airport and then some time after as we where boarding our plane heading back to lagos, we saw 2face. He was on the same plane as us, sitting in the 2nd row up front. He was nice and shook my brother's hand. What a good way to end a trip wink.

FashionRe: Facial Sauna by naijadiva2(f): 9:39pm On Sep 24, 2010
I have a facial sauna system thingy that i use and love. I dont use it as much when the weather is warm bcuz well its just to darn hot. The tip to not scolding yourself is to have your face too close to the steam. When u do, it causes redding and scarring, peeling and u do not want that. If u dont want to purchase one, you  do not have to.

boil water, put in some kind of bucket/bowl or whatever, bring your face close to the steam with a towel over your head to trap the steam, its just as effect as the facial saunas or going to the gym. Kind of like the pic shown below:

Well, I live in the city so its taxless and inexpensive Goya Olive oil is always available. You can try buying it at a store like Target but most likely there will be tax added. If you buy it at a bodega or your local grocery stor, you can find the kind I'm talking about. I'm not sure how much it will cost if/when you go to Target. You could also try Wal-mart, Walgreens, and CVS.
Cool, I live in target lol so i'll be on the lookout. and another thing, how big is it? I don't want no smal puny thing. I got alot of hair Lol

lol eh ya. My mom buys it by the gallon as well. When I run out of my own supply of olive oil, jojoba oil, and vitmain e oil I just walk into the kitchen and use my moms own. I don't know if you live in the US, but if you do, Goya makes these really small bottles of olive oil that you can buy. Their about $1.99. I buy it at the store near my house.
hmmm, i didn't know. Im going to have to look into it. What stores do u buy it from. or does it matter.

lol, I was referring to using fruits and honey as well. I don't know about the mayo part though. I'm too much of a fatass to use fruits. I'd rather eat it than put it in my hair grin. The thought of putting bananas or an avacado in my hair kinda makes me sad because I know its not going in my stomach. I don't mind using honey or olive oil though. Eventually, I'm gonna try using those in my hair.
lol i know. i can't do. I've always wanted to try olive oil on my hair but its too darn expensive to be wasting on hair. My mom buys oilve oil by the gallons and i keep eyeing it with thoughts of using it as a hot oil treatment but i kno mama will not like that grin. so i stick to coconut oil which is good too.

lol, what do you mean for eating? I don't eat shea butter or lavender oil lol. I have some commercial hair produts that I bought last semester. I was gonna use them but forgot about it. As I'm writing this, I still haven't used them. I usually stick with the homemade stuff that I make. I still have jars and bottles of Qhemet Biologics, Aubrey Organics, Curls, and Jane Carter Solution. I even have jars of the discontinued Garnier Soft Curl hair cream undecided. Nowadays I just stick to making my own hair butter, pomades, gels and soaps. Seems a lot cheaper for me to make my own stuff than to buy it in stores.
lol, sorry. when u said homemade, im thinking like avocado/mayo/honey treatments. those kinds. i have shea butter, lanvender oil, peppermint oil, coconut oil, and jamaican black castor oil. I dont really make any "homemade" out of them. I just add them to my hair conditioner to add moisture and slip. I was using aubrey organics honeysuckle rose. It was good but Idk, i wanted to try out conditioners and i was tired of ordering online. shoot, u can send those products my way. lol jk
