Actress Funke Akindele-Bello who was arrested on Sunday April 5th by the Lagos state police command for flouting the social distancing order of the Lagos state government, spent the night at the State Criminal Investigation Department SCID office in Panti, Lagos.




A police source who confirmed this to Amloaded, said the actress's husband, Abdulrasheed Bello aka JJC Skillz, who was not availabe when she was picked up has turned himself in and is currently with her in Panti. The police source added that they would be arranged in court this morning.




Singer Naira Marley and other guests at the party who the police have asked to report at the SCID for questioning are still being awaited.




The Lagos Infection Diseases Regulations 2020, prescribes a jail term of one month or N100,000 fine or both for any one found guilty of hosting gatherings or flouting the lockdown order.




The regulation act in part reads

“Where there is a violation of a closedown or stay-at-home order, security agencies shall have the power to arrest without warrant and may detain any person, who violates the closedown or stay-at-home order, for at least 48 hours.

“Where the arrested person is found guilty, the person is liable to a fine of N100,000 or one month imprisonment or three months’ community service.”

A Nigerian lady on Facebook, Ntiwunka Jessica has taken to the platform to share how she got dumped by her boyfriend after she’d cooked for his family.

According to Jessica, this was her first time of acquainting with her boyfriend’s family and so he asked her to prepare something for them with her own money and so she did.
Jessica then reveals that since she visited and cooked for his family, he hasn’t been returning her calls and due to this, she’s not ready to get married to him again but she wants the reimbursement of the money she used in preparing a dish for his family.
Sharing a photo of what she cooked for them, Jessica wrote,

29 Year Old Killed His Mother And Buried Her Inside Soakaway In Oyo said his mother is useless

Akin was reported to the police by his younger sister after their mother, after their mother who she left at home suddenly went missing, on 23th, March, 2020, Afijio Community Oyo State.

The suspect has now been transferred to Police Station Division in Oyo state on the order of the Commissioner of police in the state.

What could have made 29 year old man kill his mother who is 54 years old and the bury the corpse inside soakaway ?
This mystery is currently been unraveled by men of the Oyo State Police Command in the southwest part of Nigeria.

Akin Adelaja was arrested for allegedly killing his mother, Adelaja Omotayo, and buried and in a soakaway.

According to report which said the incident occure on Tuesday in Oyo state.

According to the report, Kemi explained that she left her mother at home when she was going to work on Tuesday march and when she came back she could not find her.
Mariam said of Kemi’s report, she further stated that whem she enquired her elder brother, Akin who was at home with their mother, the explanation given by her brother wasn’t satisfactory enough.

Base on her report, the division police officer, Atanda Division, Ali Issa, led a team of police to the house which is situated at Afijio community Oyo and the suspect was promptly arrest.
During the investigation the, the police discovered that Akin stabbed his mother to death and hurriedly buried her in the soakway very close to the house.

Mariam said the reason for his actions is still under investigation but the commissioner of police in the state has directed that the case should be transferred to homicide section of Criminal investigation and intelligent department, Oyo State.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has revealed why he will continue to speak out on national issues, even when others opt to keep quiet or he is viewed as confrontational.

Obasanjo, who spoke on a wide range of issues in an exclusive interview withNew Telegraphat his Abeokuta, Ogun State residence, said he believes that it is a sin punishable by God for him to see something that is wrong and not being able to condemn it.

“What will be my benefit from government for me to see something that is wrong and not be able to say this is wrong? For me, it is a sin punishable by God. And if I come to tell you this is not right and you give explanation towards that, I might understand,” he said.
The former president, who queried why he should sing praises of anybody, added: “I am not a General to keep quiet. I am a General for what I believe is the best for Nigeria, humanity and what I believe God would want us to do.”
On perception in some quarters that he has been confrontational with almost all his successors, particularly ex-President Goodluck Jonathan and incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari, Obasanjo said his interventions are motivated by his love for Nigeria.

His words: “I won’t call it confrontation; I won’t call it taking on. Again, I will thank God for the perspective He has given me and as I have said to you now, again, without been immodest, there is nobody who have the kind of outreach I’ve had and the type of experience that I’ve had… Like I have told you, I learn in every situation. Even in prison, I called the 419 boys to come and teach me their tactics, just to learn. I think I love Nigeria and humanity and my experience has shown me what is possible.

“Okay, what you call confrontation; let’s take somebody like former President Jonathan. He came and I even threw every caution over board because after I nominated him to Umar Yar’Adua and he accepted and when he (Yar’Adua) died, I thought this was an opportunity for the minority. Of course, you all know that there was that feeling in the North that ‘our man’ has not completed his term. He won that election and, suddenly, he started something that was outrageous to me.
“He started speaking and calling Ijaw nation. I had to go to him and ask: ‘What is this Ijaw nation nonsense?’ I said if you take the Hausa/Fulani as one unit, they may be larger than Yoruba, but if you separate Hausa/Fulani, the Yoruba will be the largest tribe in Nigeria. I asked him if he ever heard me talk of the Yoruba nation. What he did was nonsense. Now, if I go to him to say that, is that confrontation? I said to him: ‘What is the population of the Ijaw? It was not only the Ijaw that voted you into power; it is the whole Nigeria. It’s Nigeria nation and not Ijaw nation,’ but he didn’t listen. But if you call that confrontation, it is up to you. But for me, it is not.”
On his disagreement with Buhari despite supporting him in his first term, Obasanjo said: “For what reason should President Buhari try to monopolise the security within a particular group and then he captured the judiciary and legislature, the electoral commission captured and the impunity and incompetence, taking security not too seriously and you are expecting me to keep quiet?”

On the 2019 presidential election, he said: “When you talk about the last election; the last election is gone. It wasn’t an election but a declaration. There was an election, but the result was not the true result as far as I am concerned.”

Asked whether his position means that the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, defeated President Buhari, Obasanjo averred: “That was not what they declared, but I believe that was what happened. This is not the first time we would have that. We had it in the case of MKO Abiola too.

Police inspector kills couple, commits suicide in Imo

A police inspector, Kenneth Enamika, has committed suicide after killing a couple, Cajethan and Oluchi Aputanze, in Mgbidi, Oru West Local Government Area of Imo State.

The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Orlando Ikeokwu, told our correspondents on Tuesday that the cop dropped a note before killing the couple and himself.

Ikeokwu said the inspector stated that Oluchi had promised to marry him after collecting N150,000 from him, a pledge she allegedly failed to fulfil.

The police spokesperson said, “On March 22, 2020, one Alloy Eze of Ozoara, Mgbidi, Oru West LGA, Imo State, reported to the Oru West Divisional Police Headquarters that he returned home only to meet the corpses of three persons behind his house.

“Upon the receipt of the report, personnel of the division moved to the scene and met the corpses of Oluchi Aputanze, Cajethan Aputanze and Inspector Kenneth Enamika, who was attached to the 29 Police Mobile Force, Awka, Anambra State.

“One AK-47 rifle was recovered from the scene as well as a note declaring intent to kill Oluchi and Cajethan Aputanze, and to also commit suicide. In the note, Enamika claimed that Oluchi obtained the sum of N150,000 from him, claiming that she was single and had accepted to marry him.

“Enamika later discovered that she was actually married to Cajethan Aputanze. He also claimed that in an effort to recover his money, Cajethan threatened to kill him through diabolical means. As a result, he resorted to self-help, that is, by killing the couple and committing suicide.”

Ikeokwu added that the corpses had been deposited in the morgue, while investigation had commenced into the matter.

I am currently confused right now on what to do. I need advice.

I got this job that pays 200k+ a month plus a decent accommodation. Iam very good at my job and I have been planning on opening my own. As a matter of fact I have planned to start buying the equipments needed for the company by October. Although if everything goes as planned the company would begin operation by middle of next year. I also have the intention of combining my job and running the company(it's no big deal). However I ran into this sure link of getting a very high paid job abroad. The link is legit and very sure, all I have to do is accept and I will leave ASAP but my problem here is that my parents wokldolet me step out of the country cause I'm their only son. I needed the abroad job as it would boost my income and enable me achieve what I had planned. If I should follow my initial plan the company would run on a small scale. However, with the fund from the away job I could get enough money to go into full business.

Iam thinking of defying them and go ahead with the abroad plan. But one mind is telling me to hold onto my initial plan.

Please what do I do?
