You are giving him the wrong advice...thank lord that most people have corrected you and told you that there is high milage oil

You can't use 5W for a 6 yr old engine not to talk of 16yr old V6 ,he needs a high milage oil ...even 10W is not even appropriate unless he would be servicing every 3 months .... depending on the usage

I am about buying any of 2007-2012 ml350. My mechanic advised I should go for it that i can use it for all round daily use.
I mean from house to office to meetings etc. (Monday to Sunday use)

That is why I want those who use their everyday to share their experience

1. Is it possible and how long have you been using yours?
2. Do you use it during raining season where most part of lagos are flooded?

You dey beg abi?U don drive your Corolla finish abi?.Anyways ML has a good ground clearance so no fear flood(i no talk say make you swim river o).For 54 months i dey crank my C class daily no issues.The ML is more solid so i expect better performance.The economy is good too so nothing to worry.The only thing be say if your AC do kpakam like this KAMO go use bill tear you(smiles).Enjoy your ride

Put back factory compressor.
The ECU no dey communicate well again with cooling unit(the sensor on it) so the car thinks there is a heating problem and blow high fan all because of the conversion the technician do,nothing else.
Na so benz dey ,no cutting corners!
Always replace parts with exactly what oyibo said,no imaginations abi construction.
And I also think that technician is crazy,nothing is wrong with your ECU.
If benz ECU get problem trust me,no be AC guy go tell you ,
When e show you shege finish,you go know

Good morning guys . I think it's time I get my first Benz. After research around my budget . I concluded on the 2012 (w204) c350 sport. With the updated interior and engine (m272,E35). I'd like to get advice on long term usage issues (oil consumption,knocking because of of our lack of premium fuel etc) if it has . Parts availablity. Good evening. pls I need your advice. I make use of Mercedes Benz w202 c240 V6 engine, 12 plugs.using the car since 2015, bought it from cotonour. had issues with the AC, changed the compressor to that of Peugeot, and the belt became longer. AC is working no issue, but I notice the oil is always going short, and brings out white smoke. the mechanic said I need to change the egine, because the plugs are always soaking oil. Could it be changing the AC compressor had caused the engine to go weak. Because I do the car service regularly. Thank you .

Sometimes I smell fuel in the cabin while driving and there's black smoke from exhaust.

Car has been scanned and two cylinders were found misfiring. Plugs have been changed and still the same. Any leads?
