CzarChris: The FG is talking about capital importation, while manufacturers can't even have access to raw materials bah? Okay continue, but this is the link to the thread here on nairaland. https://www.nairaland.com/6314964/more-firms-shut-down-2021
cc:NaMeAboki Miracle 1991 Thank you. My friend, we are talking about direct and indirect foreign investment, in this case mainly from UK to Lagos and not about lack of liquidity of forex for importation of raw materials - which in any case may even alleviate the situation. Pls try and read the article and understand it thoroughly before commenting - also try google to supplement your knowledge on the matter - it is not guess work, pls. |

CzarChris: Thank you for the insults sir, but since you prefer to be fed false information, all i can say is carry on. BTW, I wonder what bigotry has got to do with my comments? I simply gave a rather raw reality of what's on ground, we spent 700billion naira in the last quarter on fuel importation alone(total import for the Q3 of 2020 is about 5.3trillion naira) and you expect me to celebrate making $438m in "capital investments" which translates to about 205billion naira in income for the same quarter? Please forgive me if I refuse to celebrate mediocrity.
Thank you. We are talking about inflow of capital investment which could only mean increased confidence by foreigners to invest in our economy - it must mean we are doing something right; even if the benefits are yet to come to fruition. Your earlier comments suggests you were clearly out of your depth and not in tandem with the issue at hand - imagine suggesting capital exportation, lol! |

CzarChris: These guys should keep deceiving themselves. Capital importation my foot! Go to foreign embassies and see brain drain in action. This covid-19 save this country sha, if not millions would have left in 2020 alone. Capital Importation! this one pain me sha, clear lies. Capital importation and you can't revitalize our refineries or at least give out crude oil refining license to those local boys in the creeks and standardize them to meet up with our demands, but we run to Niger republic that has a combined refining capability of only 25,000barrels a day to import refined products. You talk about capital importation, what about capital exportation? What was our Forign exchange loss during that same time frame compared to earlier? What is the state of our Foreign Reserves? What is our current debt profile as a country? Why are we in a new recession (don't give me the covid-19 excuse it's getting old)?
Infact this country taya person. I doubt if you read the article let alone comprehended it; I doubt if you even know what capital importation is all about; because if you did, then you wouldn't be advertising your ignorance and bigotry with that bullcrap you wrote. |

President Trump was enjoying himself playing golf while thousands of Americans were dying of COVID 19; even so, he wasn't crucified as some Nigerians are descending on their president. |

AsiwajuNdigbo: Fulani stand for only one thing, terrorism! Whether its settled fulani, urban fulani, nomad fulani or farmer fulani, your history in nigeria is terrorism.
Your first historical footprint on this side of sudan started in 1800s. There is not a fulani history here in 1700 or prior.
Between your entry in 1800 and 2000 the field is littered with blood of your victims.
Beside bloodshedding you are not known to build and advance society or evolve one into a prominent civilization.
What you call fulani civilization is actually Hausa civilization. You had no civilization of your own. Your roots is in futa jallon. Do you have Emirates in futa jallon? Don you have sulatanate in futa jallon?
Fulani stole a civilization and two hundred years after traces of barbarism remains a core and cherished culture that you bring forth in pretense with islam to spill more blood. No time for irrelevance.

Absolutely true; some unpatriotic groups and individuals with particular hatred for the president, his religion and region are doing everything they can to discredit him; including damaging the image of the country with fake news and propaganda.
How can anyone truly believe and say the ongoing herdsmen, banditry and even Boko Haram attacks are religiously motivated, let alone amount to persecution of Christians - when such attacks are directed at anyone and everyone without exception; moreover Muslims form majority of the victims. |

Excuzeme: Fulani has kidnapped Chief Falae, in the past, he knows them and they are around his farm. They have robbed him, burnt his farm a few times and he is no stranger to them, He speaks from valid personal experience and everything he said IS DOCUMENTED FACT. he doe snot speak for the Fulanis, he is speaking ABOUT the ACTIONS of the terrorists Animals
That you dont like the truth or dont want to come to terms with your terrorist actions, as a murderous group of animals who butcher innocent people, so you can dispossess of their land, does not change the facts.
Fulanis Herdsmen are engaged in terrorist activities, under the Umbrella of MACBAN, with the support of Nuhari and his Security Apparatus, period I am quite aware of the fact that he was an unfortunate victim of kidnapping and herdsmen vandalism on his farm (for which the culprits were caught, tried, sentenced and jailed); unnerving as it may be; however, that experience cannot make him an authority on the Fulani and therefore paint them all with the same disparaging brush; and moreover linking the bad behaviour of a minority among them to the president simply because he is from the same tribe. Such logic is akin to linking the Yoruba notoriety for juju ritual killings to Awolowo or Obasanjo when the latter was president - how silly and infantile! |

Dizzyrascal: your ignorant decision in not reading the whole 'diatribe' is the exact reason why your interjection makes no sense. Why don't you read the statement first and get a clear understanding of his point of view before making uninformed allusions. I don't need to read the content to come to a conclusion that Falae erred and was irresponsible (as an elder statesman) to make such inciting and divisive statement that was attributed to him in the headline. If the headline was inaccurate then I stand to be corrected; otherwise Falae was in no position to speak for the Fulani let alone paint them with the same disparaging brush, over what is quite obviously factually incorrect - in short such a conclusion couldn't have been reached by any other person than a bigot. |

When i tell u that aboki no dey go school, aboki no dey reason, u thought i was joking. Kindly refer to what the OP wrote (see copy below) then come back and tell me whether Aboki no go school and subsequently provide evidence to back up your own version of the story; which in any case you should to take it up with the OP - not me. Absolutely correct; I often come across them here in Nairaland; educated illiterates, many cannot comprehend let alone express themselves intelligently; all they can do is to vomit hatred and insults in the self-deceit that they are making a valid point or argument.
They are often products of exam malpractice : attained through exam leakages, direct cheating, somebody sitting the exam for them, paying (cash or kind) for grades etc.
While others resort to outright forgery, sharing or impersonation of someone with a valid certificate; yet these same group of persons are usually first among those shouting 'Buhari no get certificate or Aboki no go school' - especially the chest beating brigade.
Its no wonder that they keep committing so many basic blunders, like confusing: he/she, thought/taught, in/on, other/order, these/this -just to mention a few. |

Yujin: That was no revenge... It was mindless bloodletting which majority of Igbos have learnt from. It was soldiers that murdered your leaders but you just had to attack civilians. Even other eastern soldiers who helped foiled Nzeogwu's plans weren't spared. They present eastern soldiers have learnt from that event. Can you tell us why your fathers attacked our people in 1945 and 1954? Was it for a revenge too? Vampires crying wolf! In the same vein, what did the northern community did that caused your Blodas to kill them and burn their properties during the EndSARS riots in Oyigbo and in most of other attacks against them in the south (refer to links earlier uploaded) that often force them to take refuge in police and army barracks? |
