Back to the matter, the Bauchi governor used his own very mouth on National Television saying they plan to "harness the Fulani's tradition of moving from one place to another". He also used his mouth to say, "they don't have bothers. From Cameroun to Nigeria"... This is a governor on live TV opening his mouth to say the Fulanis move in and out of Northern Nigeria without cognisance of borders.

To be very honest, I should not be found trying to reason with a typical northerner. It's not an insult. It's just a waste of time. The time spent in trying to convince a few would have seen them multiply even more with their reckless family-planning lifestyle, proliferating ignorance. I'd better spend that time trying to enlighten a number of not-too-enlightened southerners.

1. First of all, how can you say there should be 'One Nigeria' when there is not effective border-control policy in the North? Are southerners really that foolish? You are aware that the drivers, abokiis you see in the south all come from neighbouring countries, many without a valid means of identification. And you say Nigeria should be one? This was such a grave reason that U.S had to temporarily place a ban on Nigeria because of infiltration of nomads and illegal entrants and lack of proper means of identification. Yet you shout 'One Nigeria'. Can you see that your going to school was a waste and you can't reason?

Why is this a point? Simple. Many of them have their ties to remote Sahel countries of origin like Niger and Mali. They know their roots as it's fresh in their memory. Most importantly, the fact that the British drew borders for Nigeria did not render them as foolish as the south. The northern borders are simply an imaginary line to the Northerners (just like the equator); hence they believe they are one with 'Niger' people. That is why they're building rail to Niger and building an oil refinery there. They shout 'One Nigeria' but its a ploy to fool you completely. They are one with 'Niger', not you. Fulanis know their roots; you don't.

Meanwhile, politically correct fools in the South still chanting 'One Nigeria' have their western brothers cut off in Togo and Benin and the southern cut off in Cameroun. And the British will tell me to view a Kanuri man as more of my brother than someone who bears a Yoruba name (e.g. Emmanuel Adebayo) and speaks my language. Please how do you define idiocy? Worse still, which black man can go to England or U.S and divide their lands and join peoples together? If its sure for you today, travel to U.K and tell them you want to join the peoples of Worcestershire or Staffordshire to the people of Ireland and see whether you won't find your ass landed in jail.

Common sense is not common.

Let me break it down for you again.

Nigeria is a secular state, which supposedly guarantee the right of PEOPLE to practice their religion and lack of religion aa the case may be.

An atheist cannot force his lack of religion on a religious person , neither can a religious people force their religion on others.

That's what it means to be secular. That's what the constitution supposedly guarantee.

If you force your Islamic beliefs on non religious people in the north and ban the sale of alcohol to people who have no problem with it, you have flouted their rights.

It's not different from Wike waking up tomorrow and closing all the mosques because it annoys some Christians in the state.

Now, if the constitution protects the rights of Muslims to eat and drink what they want anywhere, but does not do the same for non religious PEOPLE or atheists or even liberal christians, then It is no longer secular.
It's now a theocratic constitution.

And the Nigerian constitution was meant to be secular.
It's just a failure of government and the judiciary that has hampered their total enforcement.

This is simple, but your fanaticism will not make you see it.

Going by your earlier logic, why should I care about Muslim rights in a Christian dominated state?
Many Christians don't have problem with alcohol.
So you are infringing on their rights.

The same constitution guarantee freedom of human rights.
Freedom to live anywhere in Nigeria without fear.

If a constitution guarantees you the right to be Muslims even in a deeply Christian state, but does not guarantee the rights of people to eat or drink what they want in certain States due to religious reasons, can't you see that that constitution is lopsided and incomplete.?
