I have got shoes from her Last year but before I got them, I suffered. Like, I was literally begging and calling and writing her to know how far.

From not picking my calls to giving excuses like "my network is bad" and "you can't come over to pick it up because I am not available" las las the shoes reach where I was supposed to pick them up and I went to get them and paid.

If I had paid ahead I would have assumed she was a con artist but she isn't. Just an Unserious business woman.

I told the woman I picked up from to talk to her about how she runs her business that she is a horrible seller.

My brother loved the shoes and still wears them till date cause they were of good quality. He's been asking me to get two or three for him and I happen to need shoes too but I said to myself "NEVER AGAIN!" I cannot go through all that wahala again.

P.S. I could have deleted her contacts during the whole back and forth but my brother wears size 47 and we hardly get good shoes in his size. When I saw photos of what she had and sent them to him, he loved and wanted them so I decided to buy them for him as a gift.
If he was a normal size like me, I would have BS'd her while she was doing me nonsense.

My husband is your plug for quality shoes like that and big sizes too.

You can reach him on 07066449477

Good afternoon everyone. For the past 2days now i have been trying to book an EGYPTAIR FLIGHT and when it did reach to the point of paying my Master card will be declind. Who have this happened to and how did you got it solved.

Lastly, if you can help with an alternative affordable flight to London Heathrow you can suggest. Tnx

@lala pls do the needful. Tnx

You may need to pay at their office if they have an office or through a travel agent.

The issue you are facing is as a result of CBN dollar restrictions on transactions. You may see the price in Naira but as at this week, you are restricted to about 200 USD from an individual account.

I hope this helps

Family / Re: My 4month Old Baby Cries From Sleep by nana228(f): 6:05am On Jun 08, 2020
When i saw the title of your thread i just knew someone must infer it was an attack, totally not disappointed.

That was how my baby used to cry at night, my neighbour met me and told me that it was another neighbour that was attacking my baby, that children see what adults can't see. Me that knew what was wrong with my baby. I just said "ok, thank you ma".

Your baby is just four months old and it is normal, crying and cooing is the only way children can verbally communicate. If they are uncomfortable or do not like something, they cry. So it might be hunger, soiled Diaper, sickness, cold, heat, teething and a host of other things. Sometimes, it might be nothing, just a need for attention, babies cry because they are babies.

Try by eliminating them one by one and try to figure out what it is.

Another thing to note is that because your baby used to be a chill baby, they will be chill through out their lives, this is wrong. Some of them change every time, from chill to "unchill" and vice versa.

The fact that a child is different in some ways from their siblings or another person child should not be seen as a problem.

How can bone marrow be use in preventing two AS couples from giving birth to an SS

It'll not prevent, it is curative- this means that if they eventually have an SS child, this is a procedure to change it.

More details can be found here: A bone marrow transplant is a procedure that infuses healthy blood-forming stem cells into your body to replace your damaged or diseased bone marrow. A bone marrow transplant is also called a stem cell transplant.

If you have SS children they will hate and curse you everyday because they will struggle to live normal lives. I'm sure this love you are talking about will be forgotten by then.

If you are not capable of paying for bone marrow transplant and testing during pregnancy, Stay away from bringing biological children into this world and live with the love of your life alone. Don't be selfish and bring children who will suffer.

Crime / Washington State Finds It Paid Out Unemployment Benefits To Nigerian Fraud Ring by nana228(f): 7:06am On May 23, 2020
Impostors from a Nigerian fraud ring have used the stolen information of tens of thousands of people in Washington to fraudulently receive unemployment benefits. The state’s Employment Security Department head Suzi LeVine confirmed an investigation. LeVine said she can’t release specific numbers but countermeasures ’prevented hundreds of millions of additional dollars from going out’.

KanwuliaExtra:
It is not as easy to walk away in MOST CASES.
I think MEN are less tolerant and unforgiving than women.

I also believe it is more difficult for African women to walk out of a marriage when the man has has an insane amount of wealth. Much easier in western cultures. But the case of Arnold and Maria not finalizing their divorce AFTER NINE years? I wonder! grin

If a man does it everyone will know. In this case it is women that decides to keep the child or have an abortion and the other scenario is if the other woman eventually has the child and wants people to know.

However, when a woman does it, especially in Nigeria where DNA tests are done out of absolute necessity, the men will train another man's child even until they die, most of them won't find out.

Family / Re: A Car Or A Land- Kindly Advice by nana228(f): 9:42am On May 18, 2020
Op, i totally understand where you are coming from because I've been there. Please whatever you do, don't buy scrap as car and there's no where in Nigeria you will see a good car for 700k, it must have issues.

Land, it's easy for people without experience in life and without children to say go for land, reality is different for a lot of people. If you decide on buying a land, Where's the land and is it legit?

When my dad was working he built his houses and bought two cars with loan so decide what is best for you and your family but don't throw the money away buying things that will not give you value.

Honestly, it is painful because I trained as a teacher but I'm currently not teaching and I see how the teachers in my children's school are struggling. I help out anyway i can.

It has totally discouraged me from going back to teaching. I hope these ends soon and they are able to start taking care of their families again.

And that’s why Nigerian wives would be wise to make sure their properties are documented very well with them as owners or part owners made clear.

Not building in the name of marriage and have a system that doesn’t recognize your contributions give you pittance in the event of a dissolution.

Thank you, another important thing women should start doing in Nigeria. Especially now that we have a lot of women contributing to the family and some are even the breadwinners. They think everything is fine until they lose their husbands.

Men should be the ones championing court wedding honestly.

Yup all that. The man really has nothing to lose to be making such a big fuss over it. It’s not like he’s been asked to convert to another religion. A civil ceremony is cheap and quick. The only time a civil marriage is beneficial to the woman is when she becomes a widow. She can at least have a fighting chance in court.

Thanks for the clarification.

Every man should be happy to do this to secure his wife and children in the event of his death. I don't see what the fuss is about @OP
