Politics / Re: Fresh Battle In Kano by nanidee(f): 2:29am On Jan 30, 2012
^^I really wonder. I still don't understand why the police is only able to 'repel' them.

I don't get how these people would attack police stations, and retreat when tĦey feel like, without the police being able to 'deal decisively with them'.

I used to suspect that tĦey had superior ammunitions, but since this was refuted by the new IG, Iτ̅ just goes to show the extent to which these police men are lacking in training.
Their only areas of expertise are in harrassing innocent people and collecting N50 bribe from motorists.

Smh!

Ok. Its official that:

1) Sahara reporters is really getting to the presidency with their reports and the numerous commentaries generated by their reports.
TĦey seem to have become a huge pain in the Fed. Govt's as*s.
(their new resolve will be to fish out all those feeding SH with all these reports) cheesy

2) Reuben Abati is definitely on nairaland, and some nairalanders are definitely getting under his skin with derrogatory remarks about his 'boss'.
I can guess his handle on here. grin

Reuben, u got to cool your temper o. Don't show the world how frustrated u are on all the reports (especially from Sahara reporters) about your boss. No need getting high blood pressure. But then again, u can, since some billions were allocated to the aso rock health care cheesy cheesy cheesy

The only question that makes sense out of the whole lot is this:
If we split, what would happen to investments in
Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt by different
ethnicities? Will they be nationalized or
appropriated?

Everyother question is irrelevant. :/

Fashion / Re: Stretch Mark Body Butter Pricing Poll by nanidee(f): 4:30am On Jan 28, 2012
nairaland, na wa for you people o. 176 views and only one response? shocked shocked shocked shocked

Anyway, @OP, if i were the type that had terrible stretchmarks, and you marketed the product to me and assured me there would be some improvement, i would even buy at N10,000. (for real)

But considering the fact that its a new product, u may wish to sell for N2500 or thereabout. (In my opinion, anyway.)

There are so many people with the problem of stretchmarks, infact a very high percentage of ladies have them.

If the product is good as you say, then, you really have no problem selling them, even at N3000 which i dont even think is too much for a 100ml cream.

Looking through old threads in this section alone, you would have an idea of how people need to address the problem of stretchmarks.

In summary, i think what will make you breakthrough the market is the effectiveness of the product, and not the price.

I pity some people that would venture to attend such a meeting.

[s]if u know that your name was mentioned up there, you had better be MIA on that day[/s]

Note: before thinking of going, get yourself prepared, something will anything can happen, espcially everyone that has spoken against boko haram (a surprise will surely await you). Incase u have forgotten that there are boko haramists on this forum.  tongue

Secondly, expect the sss and some trigger happy police men. Gej go catch all of una wey dey run your mouths anyhow for this forum.  grin grin

Finally, if you are outside Nigeria, you may wish to carry on. But for all of you in Nigeria, your last names will turn to OYO (on your own)  tongue

Politics / Re: The Boko Haram Story-one You May Not Have Heard Of by nanidee(f): 5:06pm On Jan 26, 2012
Note: their style of targeting innocents is working against them, because now, tĦey are not only viewed as a group who want to get the sweet taste revenge, but as radicals, who have no clear-cut agenda.

TĦey also make good the claim of them being terrorists, and not just some poor illiterates, going by some of their organized operations and trainings.

Now, I happened to watch the video that showed the killings of the  so-called bh people, including some innocents, and truth is, I felt pretty bad that human beings could be killed like chickens.

However, the point I am trying to make is this: had the group cited their grievances with the Nigerian govt, and the steps tĦey planned to take, iτ̅  might have been a different ball game, and tĦey might have wipped up sentiments by a large number of people.

But being barbaric with their sporadic killings, bombing churches and terrorizing the masses only makes iτ̅  obvious that tĦey have never had any noble intentions whatsover, and erases any form of pity people may have for them.
Politics / Re: Nigeria President Urges Boko Haram To Come Out And Talk by nanidee(f): 4:18pm On Jan 26, 2012
These bh pple are nothing but blood-sucking cowards.

I have alweays wondered why tĦey hide. If tĦey truly know tĦey stand for something, why not come out and show the world who tĦey are and what tĦey want. Bloody set of extremists.

A̶̲̥̅beg, the military should deal with them in the best way tĦey know how to.

. . . Good riddance to bad rubbish! >shocked
Politics / Re: The Boko Haram Story-one You May Not Have Heard Of by nanidee(f): 4:12pm On Jan 26, 2012
@ frosbel,

I Iike ur response. I was also thinking along the same lines.

And as been rightly said. . . If their beef was with the police, why go after innocent civilians, and the bombings of churches. Also, why are tĦey advocating an islamized Nigeria (in their dreams though :p) By doing these, tĦey sĦouldn't expect to receive any sympathy.

TĦey are blood thirsty b**tards, and tĦey have no case.

I'm gonna bookmark this thread right away. I will like to hear your future reports on this your Nigerian boyfriend, as I would like to know how the whole marriage story would play out. I hope it would not take the usual: "my Nigerian boyfriend did this and my Nigerian boyfriend did that".

As is needed in most relationships, I wish you luck, and be sure to keep this thread alive, so we can also have updates.
