Trust ♍e, a lot of Nigerians know that tĦey are not really making the right choices of leaders. TĦey have also seen over the years, the consequences of choices made by them, but tĦey choose to ignore their thoughts and move on as though nothing is wrong.

I believe so many people have thought about how the nation - Nigeria has retrogressed due to bad leadership and the inability of the citizens to stand up for their rights, but hardly would you see these people express their feelings, and this is because many are too caught up in the thought that 'one day, iτ̅ 'll be good'. Or should I say 'one day ee go better'.

Yeah.

I asked that because I think Nigerians know all these things. Its more a case of 'who-will-bell-the-cat'.

So what happens after the thinking then?

This one is a normal occurence with those mallams. TĦey duped an aunt of about $3,500 of her business money, after she had counted several times with her counting machine. Only to get to the bank and realise she was shut of about N520,000 or there about.

She almost had a heart attack from that incident. She practically died and resurrected, when she realised her entire profit had gone to these fraudsters.

There are so many reasons why black men wear their hair short, and NOTHING like inferiority complex.

The Peoples Democratic Party in Bayelsa on Friday inaugurated an Elders Forum to reconcile all aggrieved members.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the forum has former Governor Diepreye Alamieyeseigha as its Chairman.
The Chairman of PDP in the State, Mr. James Dugor, who inaugurated the forum in Yenagoa, said the body was to create a bond of unity among members who left the party due to one reason or the other.
``By the powers conferred on me by the elders, fathers and mothers of the PDP in Bayelsa State, I hereby inaugurate this committee.”
In his remarks, Alamieyeseigha exonerated President Goodluck Jonathan from the Bayelsa PDP saga.
``As elder statesmen, we were not involved in the processes leading to the PDP primaries and the election proper. But once a candidate emerges, every interest collapses.”
 The former governor called for the re-engineering of the PDP in Bayelsa.
 ``There are two entities you cannot fight. These are God and Government. I have experienced it myself. So I have accepted to chair this committee in good faith,” he said.

Okay, I didn't think I was gonna come back to this, but I might as well do so! Okay, at the time of the civil war, the Nigerian army really wasn't anything to write home about. The 2 major reasons tĦey seemed to have gotten the upper hand was because tĦey were receiving sophisticated weapons from abroad to help them fight the easterners, and more importantly, the FOOD SUPPLY TO THE EAST WAS CUT OFF. Even at that, the igbos manufactured their own weapons and ammunitions at that time. Moreover, u don't expect hungry men to do wonders!

So, point of correction, the Nigerian army had lots of advantages, which if given to the easterners would have resulted in a different story. Nothing to do with the joke of the Nigerian army.

I'll suggest you read the complete history of events that led to the Nigerian civil war. Iτ̅ may suffice you to note that this 'power hungry' man had tried without success, to resolve the then situation in a civilized manner. This 'power hungry' man already wielded some power, as he was the then military governor of the entire east. The war was NEVER a preconceived plan.

At this point, I'll suggest you understand the real reasons and what led to the war.

I rather look at the perspective from a non-Nigerian, who is able to objectively look at the situation through unbiased lens. That would not include you.

People/ Organizations in Nigeria get away with just about anything in Nigeria, because there are no proper regulatory bodies to check the excesses of these people, hence their ability to get away with just about anything, while the masses are forced to accept whatever service rendered by the service providers.

When the same thing keeps happening all the time to the detriment of people, and with no compensation whatsoever to the people affected, chances are that iτ̅ was 'well arranged'.

So, OP, there you have iτ̅. A lot of things are wrong with the system, and unless tĦey are fixed, u should expect more of these type of occurences.
