Did the person request for GCMS notes for the 3 applications? Then apart from changing programmes what other changes were made to the 2020 applications?
Some people have gotten approval after 4 refusals, I have read someone who was approved after 7 applications. The main thing that will work is to look at the reason for refusal on the notes and tackle them

Thanks for your comments.

Increased the funds in the account.
Provided more work related document, including salary account.

GCMS notes was in line with reasons stated in the refusal letter.

Good morning guys.

First application in 2019 - Graduate Certificate Program (Energy Management @ Algonquin College) - refusal reasons: purpose of visit and current employment history.
Second application in 2020 - Master degree (Energy Systems Engineering @ MUN) - refusal reasons: travel history and insufficient funds
Third application in 2020 - Master degree (Energy Systems Engineering @ MUN) -refusal reasons: family ties, purpose of visit and personal assets and financial status.

There was an argument that with this profile, the chance of getting approved is very slim, and that applying again with different program and school (MTEI @ smu) is a waste of time and money.

How true is this submission?
Do anyone ever get approved after multiple refusal?

Fast but expensive - You buy from black market and send via wire transfer to the school.
Fast but expensive - Some schools have arrangements with some transfer agencies like Western Union, but their rate is black market rates.
Slow but affordable - Use Form A through your bank in Nigeria, rates are "cheap", but it takes about 60 days to process.

Many thanks for your response.
Very useful.

Hello guys,

Please, what is the best method of making payment to Canadian university currently?
Speed, fair exchange rate and reliability are considering factors. Thanks

I need to make a deposit to SMU by end of January.

Op, he is being treated the way you would love to be treated if you were to be under investigation.

For crying out loud, he still an accused. He is not yet convicted.

Hello GAZZUZZ,

I got a Toyota Matrix 2005 last year November, Which I have not serviced due to very minimal usage. I started driving it two months ago.

Kindly recommend good engine oil brand, as I plan to do the first servicing this week.

Nonen, please upload the cars (when in Canada and in Nigeria) you have delivered already.

Anyone who has patronized Nonen should please make some reviews.

This will go a long way to helping both OP and prospective buyers.

Thanks for your response.

I actually did attach the employment document, including the offer letter and last promotion letter. Bank statement shows salary payments.

Phatkayconcept:

Sorry for the refusal.

Your refusal reason seems simple and yet complicated.
Do you have a job?
Do you have payment proof from your employer
Do you attached all details of employment to your application.

If you can provide background info about your current job prior to application, that can provide pointer to your future job prospects.

If you can answer, that would be great.
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by nannanie10: 11:07am On Feb 24, 2020
Hello People.

How can one address this refusal reason

"I have reviewed the application. The applicant's plan of studies appears vague and poorly documented. According to the applicant's current or future employment prospects, I have accorded less weight to their employment ties to their country of residence. Weighing the factors in this application, I am not satisfied that the applicant will depart Canada at the end of the period authorized for their stay. For the reasons above, I have refused this application."

Yet another Refusal letter.

First time application

Timeline
Application: August 1
Biometric: August 6
Eligibility review started: August 8
Biometric validation and refusal letters : Sept 26

Program Type: Postgraduate Certificate in energy management
Bachelor: Electrical engineering (3.96)

Refusal based on:
* Current employment situation
* Purpose of visit

Resumption: January 2020

Is it advisable to reapply using the same acceptance letter? Or I should just start to process for refund?
I don't want to lose on both sides.

Congratulations Bracha. Al the best.

Bracha:
Good morning everyone,

It has been a while. How's everyone doing? Hope we're all OK and praying too ☺. Congratulations to those who got their TRVs and also to those who are yet to receive it, it will end in praise.

I got into Canada this past Thursday. PoE was smooth.

Here is a bit of what I can remember

CBSA agent: please give me your acceptance letter and proof of payment
Me: handed them over to her.

CBSA Agent: what are you going for
Me: MELS at Brandon University, Manitoba.

Agent: how do you intend to pay the rest
Me: my uncle will be paying for it. Also I have a TA position at the school.

Agent: what does your uncle do?
Me: I don't really know but just know he lives here, don't know what he does too.

Agent: that's rather weird. That you don't know all these. How then has he been helping.
Me: he's been helping since back home in Nigeria.

Agent: OK.

Agent: will the TA stipend be enough to take care of the rest?
Me: yes it would.

Agent: OK.

Agent: please wait. Then she goes to print the study permit. Then comes back. She hands it to me

Me: please will this allow me work off campus?
Agent: yes.
Me: thank you.

Agent: just go through there.
Me: thanks.

I told her I didn't have the statement of account and she said no problem. She didn't need that.

I had an apple watch with me, my brother wanted me to change the screen for him. Nothing was asked of me there.
But at the Agricultural section (the people you submit the declaration form to for them to mark), they asked if I had seeds and other stuff, I said yes. I even ticked it on the declaration form. They said okay, no problem. I also ticked that I had unaccompanied goods (goods to follow, which is my bag that contains my food items).

Note:
Bring food o, as in traditional food - Ogbono, Egusi, Oha, efo etc. Leave meat and milk/milk-containing food items. Just bring food items - indomie o, spaghetti o, so long as your bag no pass your weight allowance, just bring. Whatever you bring, please declare them on the card. Answer questions with confidence and then continue praying so they don't find anything amiss.
Carry blanket too if you can. Canada is very very very very cold (see as the 'very' long eh, it doesn't even begin to explain how cold it is).

Also, get thermal clothing for the cold. Buy bathroom slippers too. Buy shoes o - for women, buy walking shoes (see pictures, these pictures are just examples of what you need), leave those normal women shoes, they won't give you any protection at all.

I changed some of my money at the Bureau dé Change downstairs (at the arrival section). CAD costs 286 there instead of 290 upstairs and in other places.

I forgot my bag of food items so now I need someone to please bring it for me. Anyone coming to Canada in the coming days? I will pay to have it sent to Brandon from wherever you are. Pleaseeeeeee.

Ayodeji786, Blema111, Martinomi, congrats. Also I Ayodeji and Blema111 please I need either of you's help with the bag because you guys will be coming to provinces close to mine. Abeg

Also don't forget winter boots and jackets o

Religion / Re: Timi Dakolo Married In My Church, I Knew Of The Rape-Pastor Yemi Davids by nannanie10: 8:55am On Jul 05, 2019
I suggest whoever wrote this topic should re-read the bolded phrase severally, and interpret what it means. He/She may wants to re-write the topic. Looks like someone is misrepresenting fact.

life2017:
Busola Dakolo got married from my church and I knew of the rape - Pastor Yemi Davids

Just after Timi Dakolo debunked claims of Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo officiating his wedding to Busola, Pastor Yemi Davids of Global Impact church has also confirmed that the couple got married in his church.

Pastor Yemi Davids who also revealed that he has been privy to some personal struggles Busola has had over the years, stated that what she said is her truth and should be honored even though there was a denial.

The Global Impact church Pastor who stated that he supports any process that will bring justice, healing and resolution in the matter, wrote;

Hmmm I feel the need to do this as a husband, father and Pastor. @busoladakolo got married from our church to @timidakolo and as a friend to the family, I've been privy to some of the personal struggle Busola has had over the years, based on the details she expressed at the recent interview. This is her truth and it should be honored.

I commend her for her bravery and I pray this helps her healing process. I also noticed that there was a denial of the allegation. It is important that the truth comes out. Rape is a serious offense and it is unacceptable. A process that unveils the truth in this hurtful situation in the body must begin immediately. We leaders must be accountable and I support at arriving at Justice, Healing and Resolution at this matter. #TruthSetsFree #SayNoToRape

Again, I heard it has to be issued by NPC (National Population Commission). How true?

It doesn't need to be notarized so long as it already bears an official signature and stamp from the issuing body.

I don't know which school is issuing your transcript. But I think student copy of transcript do come with inscription " certified student copy" on it. For me, this is sufficient. It worked for me.

I hope this helps.

Qudkom:

very possible. Travel history refusals accompany other grounds and isn't a standalone reason. Once a VO questions your "Purpose of Visit" and questions if you are a bonafide student the next thing is to tick travel history. Over 60% of approved applicants didn't have any travel history prior to applying.

Thanks for your response. There is hope then

What all that I read about travel history here, is it even possible to get approval on a virgin passport?

Please I need answer to this. Because I am beginning to wonder if it can ever happen.
