Nigerians should beware the poisoned chalice. The question to ask is why will the USA be granting access to Atiku now? What has Atiku offered the USA in return for this? Everyone knows America’s policy right now is America first as exhibited by their President especially in the murder of the Saudi journalist. USA has been wary of the movement into Africa by the Chinese and here is an opportunity to have a puppet as president in Nigeria just for allowing him access into the USA, if na you nko wetin you for do? So, Nigerians should beware the trade-off by Atiku.
Exactly my fear too. But tribalism and personal hate has clouded some people's ability to reason
Politics / Re: Atiku At His Briefing With United States Institute Of Peace- Pictures by Naruto87(m): 6:59pm On Jan 18, 2019
A man who couldn't visit for years for corrupt related reasons has now be allowed by the USA. Hmm I wonder what he had to sacrifice for that knowing the kind of country America is.. Well he has said that in his privatization move "his friends will be happy " keep celebrating as Your future will be sold to the highest bidder..
Politics / Re: Atiku Abubakar Lands In Washington, USA - Dele Momodu by Naruto87(m): 5:04pm On Jan 17, 2019
I don't know who is more.... Those who believe this news from an un verified source or those who believe Atiku a man who said "he will not enrich his family but his friends" . Keep believing until we hit another recession or until he sells all our assets to his "friends".

It is Maurice Iwu

Atiku and his gang of thieves aren't interested in campaigning, they are interested in getting loopholes in the processes and institutions.

Wike bribing judges, PDP hiring a former INEC chairman, Saraki amending the Electoral bill and removing incident forms, etc

Come out and campaign, mba.
Am not a fan of PDP but removing the incidence form is a good move. Less chance for anyone party to manipulate the elections

People like you are the reason we suffer in this country. It's not by starting a project but by completion at least this government is trying to achieve that Instead of abandoning them.

When has the United States become "AnteNatal Clinic" to attend before becoming the president of your country?

Did Buhari go to America prior to 2015 election?

Americans are not Nigerians to decide for Nigeria. Nigerians will decide for Nigeria who will preside over her.

If Atiku truly has a case to answer, why hasn't the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation(F.B.I) collaborated with the Interpol in Nigeria and the EFFC in arresting and extraditing him to where he has the case to answer? Isn't that not how it should be done?

The man is as free as a bird. If the U.S won't grant him a visa due to their allegation of embezzlement or fraud, then Russia or China will grant him and discuss bilateral relations with him when he oust the incumbent president.
He has been granted a visa. Check your facts and in the aspect of international relations every country needs America.

.

sir, let's assume its true. and agreed.
this same military has been coming out in time past to leak to public ( or to publicize) what strategy it wants to use (for both bokoharam or IPOB) just to score patronage that it is " working".

I watched it on "B-C-O-S" and the public was like why are they telling us something that should be kept within.
That's true but I feel some are said just for show but not all are told to the public and it seems this wasn't meant to be leaked.
Politics / Re: Nigeria Military Vacates Daily Trust Premises After FG Directives by Naruto87(m): 10:49pm On Jan 06, 2019
While the actions of the military isn't commendable, we should consider their anger. The military planing a massive attacked(probably a surprise attacked) get the information leaked by a news agency. Do you know what that means for the lives of its men? Soldiers die regularly thanks to BH so while we critisize, lets be empathetic.
And to those insulting the President tell me this.. Is he aware of all the military activities?

Politics / The Truth About Politics Today by Naruto87(m): 5:30pm On Dec 20, 2018
Prior to the party primaries, it was easy to believe that the 2019 presidential election will be a walk in the park for the APC. This is because majority of the electorates consider the party's candidate a safer pair of hands. The PDP's failure to agree on a consensus candidate and the possible exodus that was expected to follow the outcome of it's primary was another factor. Also, the precarious unity that was hitherto enjoyed within the APC was expected to play a part in delivering victory to it's candidate.

However, judging by the post primary events, it is safe to say that both the PDP and the APC have a sporting chance of success. The motley miscellany of antiparty elements in the APC has swiftly and significantly reduced the party chances. Today, the APC is a party of many leaderships. Because of their arrogance, obsession, greed and proclivity, some governors and lawmakers have openly declared that they will work against the party. Despite all these, the party leadership seems to be in no hurry to either mollify or sanction these members. The frantic efforts made at achieving meaningful reconciliation have so far drawn a blank.

After a thorough assessment of the Nigerian political scene, one can only arrive at the galling conclusion that once again it is choosing between the underperforming APC and the failed PDP. Yes, the third force might make their existence known this time but in making perceptible difference, 2019 comes too soon.

While we relish the cut and thrust of the political campaigns, it is equally important to remind the ruling party of the things they ought to have done and which they could have done but agonizingly failed to do. And also remind them of the things they could have avoided which they religiously did, regrettably to the detriment of the poor Nigerians who put them in the saddle. The PDP on the other hand, though the underdogs, should not be spared in bringing to the fore their 16years of misrule.

While the sycophants, enthusiasts, leeches and the hanger ons lurking around the presidency continue to tell this administration that they have done extremely well, the patriotic but poor masses who want to live in a better Nigeria, who bear the final brunt of any minor or grand corruption, nepotism, insecurity, unemployment and other concomitants of underdevelopment should never shrink from expressing their dissatisfaction with the current state of the country.

Though APC and PDP are seen as two sides of a coin and the fact that APC is only a good party when it is compared with PDP and Buhari administration is adjudged as good only when it is compared with PDP's years of ineffectualness, the reality today is that whether Nigerians can see and enjoy good roads, quality healthcare, strike-free academic calendar, burgeoning economy and uninterrupted power supply or not still depends on the good governance or otherwise of either of these two parties.

So, in the name of everything good, we must find a way to make any party in power more responsible, more accountable, more transparent and more pro masses.
Politics / Re: PDP Members Booed Buhari Because He Refused To Bribe Them - Kazure (vid) by Naruto87(m): 5:25pm On Dec 20, 2018
It's sad that politics is now more of a religious and tribal battle.. People would rather vote for their own than the right person. We all know both APC and PDP isn't the best but comparing both which has a better chance of helping the country.. Let's me fair and stop destroying our future based on stupid religious or ethnic loyalty.

and what makes APC worse? from ur statement it seems u just hate the party. research more before you judge a person/persons. Nigeria is where we are today thanks to the previous government, and its sad that 10years or less from now if we don't continue with our steady growth now, we'll be engulfed in debt. vote and support the right person and stop being a tribalistic/religious fanatic.
