Kimoni: This was supposed to be a beautiful and inspiring thread for women and men alike but as usual, you totally derailed the course of this thread with feminism and its usual rants. You went ahead to throw the first, second, third...shades; yet, y'all keep shouting of how others won't leave feminists alone. smh Even those claiming it goes both ways, liked the post because the word feminism was called After she said that she was too big to answer but cameback when her backbone answered for her,and in the midst of sounding "intelligent or i too can talk" she is busy calling people she fit senior mama .Very annoying hypocrites folks around here behaving like school girls. mtschewwwww |

njokusboy:

This doesn't even follow, do people bath on the street or lie naked on the 3rd mainland bridge... ssurely, you do know that when people are talking about unclothedness, they are referring to public nudity abi... nobody cares what you do in the comfort of ur room, we all go naked to the bathroom
This argument has been killed and buried ni oh... Are you saying that careless display of cash does not lead to robbery? Pray tell, why do you put a lock on ur door, or close ur shop when ur going home, what informs ur decision? You might just as well leave. Ur door ajar, afterall it all begins and ends with the perpetrators...
This one is worse, Jesus came into the world right? The bible never ssaid he walked around n@kkid... before the forbidden fruit, Adam and Eve had no consciousness... so there was no unclothedness to bother about in the first place... hello, this iss the 21st century, who comes up with dis kind of analogy anyway? JEE7
Anyone. That aspires to prove he is not insecure is indeed insecure... (food for thought)...
Now what the hell is dis ?? This whole writeup is really a struggle.... You can say that again.God created us naked for a purpose?imagine the thoughts? Why is polygamy frown at now, because it was what most people in the bible practised. Even in the second testament, the bible said that a woman should cover her head in church but here i am reading God created us naked, therefore we should continue with God ideas even when he changed it. If you want to go naked, please do....Come back to tell us your story afterwards you hear? |

MrLouisVanGaal1: I just look through the thread and i see people like safarigirl, mizmycoli and the rest of the crew are all having a feminist "free the women" 0rgy. Once they are off this thread, they live opposite lives, exactly as described here. I know many women championing this cause. My ex is one and it's funny she is still over me. So much for being a feminist
These women live sad lives, i don't mean the young ones on this thread who are still too young to comprehend what it means to be successful but lonely. I mean the real women who have an emotional void that only men can fill but they act all independent and i don't care about men and in their much reasonable states begin to feel sad about their boring lives. I only feel sorry for those reading this and looking for an affirmation to keep living the feminist fantasy idea of independence and giving no shit about a man. Those are the ones that will later hear few years down the line that these same women who were acting like F$%k marriage are all married. Preach brother, preach. How come the op has been opening endless threads about self-worth,happiness,not being defined by marriage, all her long essay revolve around a self-pity party. |

All these threads you guys are opening,i even noticed someone who has been depressed everr since the thread of a mad single lady going about consoling herself and opening threads to re-assure her self that she is happy. Depression is a bad thing, when you are happy it shows, you don't need to reassure everyone around you that you are happy. |

Kimoni: Mizmycoli - I can't see much difference in the summary of what you and Edwife wrote. Just that you laid emphasis on different points of the same situation.
And I disagree with your impression of her post. How does her post interprete to mean that every single girl is unhappy? Is that what she said? I am still searching for where she said that.
Like I said earlier, you guys have said the same thing just that you have gone further to explain that singles have their low days when they 'rant' about their singleness just like every normal human. And I quite agree with that but the denial of this situation is what I believe her post is addressing. Whatever you have said does not take away the from the reality of what she has posted.
Again, you missed the point where she said ladies sometimes put themselves under this pressure. Whose fault would that be? As an example, I never knew Linda Ikeji was single until I started reading it on her blog regularly howbeit jokingly. I honestly think this is very unnecessary because I really don't care about her status but if she feels that's the best way to make light of the situation, who am I to disagree?
Soceity will always put us under pressure, it's not restricted to women or marriage; everybody faces societal pressure at one point or the other in life, it's left for each one of us to slug it out. If you lose that war, you have to take responsibility. I also saw the same thing.Edwife didn't even mock or said single girls are unhappy. And they refused to see where she wrote that it's not only the society but the ladies are to blame themselves .So she went further on showing some posts from ladies crying for men. Nawa for long epitsles on top of a simple post. |

i can see that some people will not leave this thread anytime from now. They are so bitter probably from their past experience that they think everybody sees life like them.Continue waiting for men of your dreams to come on this thread .Do whatever fit your house or marriage, every home is different.there is nothing wrong in serving your husband, nothing wrong and if you are busy simply let him know that you are but if he insist you need to check yourself very well for marrying such a beast.
Yes the man is a beast according to some here,so is the woman for being stuppid marrying such a fellow and coming to cry wolf. |
