England suffocated.

Southgate should've started at least one or two attackers that run in behind. He hasn't done that since the start of the tournament, so...
Gordon for Shaw. Saka at LB.

Liverpool are closing in on deal to sign Rio Ngumoha (2008) as he’s leaving Chelsea Academy.

Liverpool are set to break historical wage structure for Academy to sign Rio.

~ @FabrizioRomano

Chelsea wants him to sign new contract so them go use as pure profit, I'm glad he didn't, good luck.
And this is what will happen eventually with all this pure profit nonsense currently going on. One day, there will be no quality left to sell for pure profit.

🇧🇷 Estevão among all Palmeiras players since becoming a starter (12 games):

1st - goal contribution (6)
1st - goals scored (4)
1st - shots on target (14)
1st - successful dribbles (33)
1st - duels won (67)
1st - fouls suffered (17)
1st - penalties won (1)

(@SofascoreBR) #CFC
In how many games? Just like Afrodoc earlier, for a guy hyped on Neymar level talent, 33 dribbles completed even in 10 games, will be an average of 3 per game.

That's a paltry average.

wow this came out of nowhere
Yes please. Yes please. This is the profile of young players we should be signing. Got the my eye on this one.

With all these talents we picking left right and centre, it might take a little while for it to come together, but we are on the verge on something really remarkable.

The new owners are doing very well in my opinion.

He’s hot now, don’t know if he’d be interested in our project as he’d have more safer options….his clause is just 58m euros
That release clause is going north now after he signs a new contract. We should have signed him up when we had a chance.

Vischy:
Check conversion rate ,tells you he will score more in this Chelsea team
It doesn't. If he's too slow and weak for the PL, he will not. He will not be the first guy who scores bucket loads in weak leagues, then lands in the PL with the promise of coverting all the chances created by the superior team, and said striker is found wanting.

A 27 year old who's never played at the pace of the PL, chances are he burns out in 15 games.

In lesser number of minutes played, compared to our wasteful Jackson. The gap in conversion rate is enough to flog Jackson out for him.
Sir... This ninjah is 27 in a few days. He's 5 years ahead in his career. Jackson is still an U23. If the dude's conversion rate is not higher than Jackson's, there's a big problem. There is no prize for that.

By the way, in the 3 previous seasons, this ninjah averaged 14 goals per season. grin grin grin grin grin

JAMB. How many of those were penalties?

£100m transfer budget

Olise £60
Duran £40m

or should Chelsea buy a CF that's worth £70m and CB to solidify the defence?
The former...... on the basis that there's no proper CF on the market for £70m. You would have to shell out more.

Also, the former guarantees you better squad. There's no need for a new CB, unless on a one-in, one-out basis. We have enough cover.

I didn't go on a tangent, you even claimed that "Mbappe scored 20 non-penalty goals last season. That's only 6 more than Jackson", just to show that Jackson did well last season and even an Mbappe would have marginally performed better. I had to destroy that point before the likes of Lordfalcao and Timbros start to echo it - Mbappe's 11 non-pk's goals in 16 matches as CF, is what you should compare with Jackson's 14 goals in 35 league matches.

You kept on hammering on 100m as if my main choice - Dobvik is 100m. And Dobvik is not as wasteful as Jackson and will not give poverty numbers as he will bury most big chances unlike Jackson that hasn't even scored a goal for Senegal in like 14 matches.

Dovbyk is not £120m, you are arguing based on wrong information that I wonder where it came from. Probably, your love for Jackson jacked the striker's price up astronomically. grin
Sir, this is not a matter of opinion. I am telling simple FACTS with empirical evidence. Jackson did so well. I am not making it up.

Nicolas Jackson scored more goals in his debut season at Chelsea, than every other striker in recent history. And this stretches back to include JFH and TAF that preceded the Abramovic era. The only striker that beat him is Diego Costa, with only 6 more goals in his debut season.

This sort of analysis goes unspoken about, because we are more interested in making memes and pushing an agenda.

The question is can he be coached into being better and less profligate? Can the team structure itself and play better to allow him better these numbers?

This is the story of stuff we should be talking about, not asking us to buy Vlahovic for £80m.

The comparison with other players, is to put his debut season performance into perspective. I don't care if others played CF or not. Jackson also played in midfield, left wing, right wing, and defence many times, helping the team.

And yes, if we ever mentioned we want to buy Gyokeres and Dovbyk, they will quote us £100m.
