Troll them when they fvck up, but u guys should have d same balls to give them due credit.
By the way Enzo fvcked up at times this half but let's not mention it.
The mistake you are making is that you are focusing on the highlights of Sterling. Statistically, Sterling makes more mistakes than he makes good decisions. This is the problem with Sterling.
Gucciboy: How can Chelsea be playing without a defensive midfielder but Andrey Santos is available..
Poch's mistake. I am sure he understands that playing Gallagher (who is not press-resistant) alongside Enzo (who is not naturally mobile) is a huge tactical error.
It might have worked in pre-season, it is different against top class PL athletes.
popizaino: I think we should go for Romeo Lavia, far cheaper option although i don't think he is a sitting DM from YouTube clip but would save us some pounds.
It's looking like we have gone past the point of Lavia for Caicedo. If anything at all, Lavia probably comes along with Caicedo.
I actually relish the combo, because at least Lavia can sit, allowing Caicedo to run and Enzo to create. Santos can then be sub to Caicedo, and Ugochukwu sub for Lavia.
I think that's good midfield depth. It's just a big shame how much it's cost.
nateevs: Me I was coming here to hype this guy. I didn't realise you've seen it as well.
Now this is one DM I look at and go, get me that one.
We need to get out of this £80m market. For me, £60m is already too much money to Brighton....again. Let's stop this whole Caicedo nonsense and scout undiscovered talent.
Andre Trindade, Andre Santos and the Ogochukwu guy should be enough DM cover for the season.
Good. At least these fools will learn two lessons this summer.
Absolute nonsense. We just completely wasted time, we are looking like fools and have put ourselves in a very terrible situation.
When we should have offered 2m more per season for Ugarte over a 5 -year contract, we were forming prudent club. Now wanted to carry 50* the money splash on top Caicedo.
I implored us to leave the £80m business alone and scout talents. We could have signed Trindade, a better fit for DM, many weeks ago for peanuts. More importantly, he could have been training tactically and we would have saved ourselves from this embarrassment.
But once you got into the whole shopping-in-the-£100m-aisle nonsense, you either had to make the decision to stump up the cash, or freaking walk away. We did neither. Instead, we just wasted valuable time bidding in £5m increments.
Now we have the look of desperate fools to the rest. Hopefully Tridade and Lavia are still on the market for decent money.
Kantebets: nkunku missed world cup with injury he has an above average injury record. But caicedo has a near excelent record he didnt sustain even one injury lst season
Okay. So in other words Caicedo is beyond injury....or what is the point being touted here?
Unlimited22: I'm pretty sure the only reason we're in for both is the injury to Nkunku which may force à tweak in formation or tactics. Signing both, with the performances of Andrey and Emeka in preseason, would've caused a problem in a 4231.
Caicedo alone would've sufficed. But it is what it is.
I don't doubt that the injury to Nkunku changed approach in the market. But it was always a risk going into the season with Caicedo alone. As we can see with Nkunku, new position signing doesn't mean immune from injury.
We could have had Nkunku fit and Caicedo suffers an injury that keeps him out for four months. That would have meant relying on Santos for the rest of the season.
We always needed robust cover for that position but I cannot believe it is the position we are covering last.
Griffon: What would be more insane is a triumvirate of Enzo, Caicedo and Lavia.
Gimme the league already.
I cannot believe we spent the whole window just to get back here. Once the Ugarte deal fell through, a lot of us said go get Lavia and Caicedo. It was a no brainer.
The problem is those are two players who would potentially walk into the first team but have never played together with Enzo. And the first game is already upon us.
hensben: Oga I’ve watched both Humphreys look more decisive and intentional with play than Colwill. Time will tell sha. Btw, what’s absurd in my reasoning? Don’t I have right to share my opinion again.
What is absurd is that previously, you asked for Colwill not to start against Liverpool, and to be sold next season. This is the same Colwill that Liverpool wanted to tempt. So you can imagine what we are thinking when we see you say again that Colwill should be sold next season. Based on what?
You cannot continue to say things like these and then say they are only opinions. Don't share things like this abeg.
hensben: Humphreys has higher ceiling than Colwill. Colwill should be sold next season while Humphreys take his place.
Every time, you manage to come up with something that completely makes me marvel about the side of you that comes up with these absolutely absurd reasoning.
You have not even watched both of them enough times to make this conclusion.
airmark: We are yet to offload the Sterling burden, now we want to add another in Neymar.
Well, Pochettino, Boehly and his team should not be unfortunate.
I don't believe these Neymar rumours. It happens every year. I can bet Poch categorically will not want Neymar near his team. And I want to believe that he had the ultimate say of the first team players.
Meanwhile the Saudis need to forget Salah and step up their interest in Sterling asap.
Ibime: How do you see Andrey Santos in the midfield?
This is first time I am saying anything at all about Andrey Santos.
I think Andrey Santos is a genuine talent. Played DM yesterday with strict positional discipline. Dude is combative, mobile, agile and technically gifted to play the role.
I say this with caution, but from what I have seen so far, Andrey's vision for forward passes is nearly in the same class as Enzo's.
For me, Andrey Santos should be the number one player in that midfield for now.
I still don't understand don't understand why we are chasing Caicedo for £100m.
BlueAngel444: Nateevs look at Lewis hall do u want him to stay on Chelsea's bench when the kid is showing or has shown he may be better than most of our lbs and midfielders
The important point always is that a loan move is never an automatic solution to having more game time.
I can give a ton of Chelsea young players where loan moves ruined their talents completely. From Gael Kakuta to Charly Musonda, Lucas Piazon, Jeremie Boga, Ulises Davilla, Tomas Kalas, Josh McEachran, Billy Gilmour to name a few.
These were ones with genuine talents that could have had better careers, if they stayed rather than leaving.
Most loan moves are bad for young players and don't work out. They are humans like you and I. Leaving your comfort zone to a completely new country, language, work principles, gaffer, etc can be genuinely disruptive to 17/18 year olds.
So yes, I would rather Lewis Hall stays and get a few games, than hop over to Strasbourg in the hope of game time, doesn't get it, and then stagnates.
