Sturridge and Sterling coming through on good points. |
AirborneLacer: Luiz is 29 - The lad has got hopeThe lad is not on loan is he? |
tysonnn: thanks, bro!You ask for the codes on the forum here. They will be sent to you via PM I think. (Muki has not replied my question. I assume it's by PM). You take this code and go through to the "LEAGUES" tab at the top of the FPL page, then 'join league'. This is where you use the codes given to join the league. |
coogar: so none of you UK-based fantasists is playing the ultimate premier league? Are you kidding me? Signed up already. How could I not? |
tysonnn: Someone put me through naGo to the Fantasypremierleague.com and sign up to create a team. Everyone has £100m to buy 15 players - 2 goalies, 5 defenders, 5 midfielders and 3 attackers. This is a strict mix and you cannot change it. You choose this mix of players from many of all 20 PL teams. You cannot choose more than 3 players from the same PL team, so your knowledge of the league is paramount. You select 11 players of the 15 to play. The idea is to accrue points every match day your players play in - i.e. the real match day. For instance, Arsenal vs Crystal Palace are due to play on the weekend and Giroud scores a goal for Arsenal. If Giroud is one of the 15 you bought, then Giroud makes points for you for scoring a goal. And so do other players you choose in your 15, as long they feature on the match day. The full list of eligible points per player is available on the FPL website. Every week you make more points with the players you buy. Be careful with the 15 you choose as you can only make ONE change to your team every week. So you can't change your whole team unless you play a wild card. Shikena. And don't forget to ask for codes to join the Nairaland league for the whole points collection task to make sense. I know you will have more questions. Just ask. |
AirborneLacer: This is Mou's second season and he doesn't usually lose. The EPL is different from them other leagues. The EPL is different from Jose's first time around. |
Nihilist: So with Tony Pulis gone, will Crystal Palace remain the defensive lynchpins they became under his tenure....or will they revert to the form from the Holloway days?Damn! Ward and Speroni out then. I thought I had the day to do other things. |
Hi Muki, Is it right that I am already added to the NPL without physically requesting a join? If it is, then kindly send me the head to head league codes. Anyone trying the Ultimate Fantasy League? |
BvB just smacked Bayern. |
Nihilist: Why is there a sudden influx of pre-pubescent children to this thread?I was wondering the same myself. |
Nihilist: Anyone watching the pre game build up?Has it not been for a while? |
Nihilist: Now that Lukaku is gone,I didn't remember this dude at all. The problem is that Benteke will hardly settle for a second let alone third striker at Chelsea. |
Romeu on loan. That brings the number of foreign players to exactly 17. How then does it make sense to give Romeu a 3-year contract yet send him out on loan? |
Ibime: So we can't rely on shekpe keeper again?Firstly, nobody decides which matter I have got no say. Old stories apart, there always comes a times when everyone moves on. I, a staunch supporter of Torres cannot but admit that at the very least, his confidence has been shot to bits and there is no evidence that he can regain it back. In the unlikely event that he regains it, scoring 50 goals might not be enough to warm the hearts of the lot that has been hugely disappointed by his transfer. Therefore it is only common sense to move on and look to the future; one that I firmly believe Lukaku would have very well represented. Like I said previsouly, Lukaku's departure is hardly Torres' fault. If Jose wants Lukaku to stay and play, Lukaku stays and plays. |
chelseabmw: £133 million for Juan Mata, Kevin de Bruyne, David Luiz & Romelu Lukaku. You mean Jose set the selling price? Guys, please chill out on the unnecessary glorification of Jose. On the Lukaku point. I say phuck the money and forget blaming Torres. If Jose wants Lukaku to stay and play, Lukaku stays and plays and ahead of anyone. I hope Jose doesn't come back to tell us about the striker story again. Selling Lukaku who is 1. a proven PL striker, 2. a home grown player, is complete and utter garbage. Then relying on Costa who is only having his first season and is one moment of madness away from a lengthy ban is insane. Sha no story anymore. He's had a chance to make it right and he hasn't used it. |
Good play by Costa to set up a second goal 3-0. I didn't know he has that much pace. |
Ibime: Who we dey play?Na Vitesse jare. Bertrand Traore having a better outing for Vitesse than Salah who just made a mess of a one-on-one |
Nice free kick Fab. 2-0. Hope we see a few more of that in the season |
Didn't think Costa would pass the ball there. |
MRbrownJAY: ^^^lol, you are going around in circles. the IFs, BUTs and MAYBEs have absolutely NO VALUE here. we couldnt care less whether what is happening to Ham is deliberate or out of bad luck. the FACTS remain that the Berg is on top, point blank, and you guys should stop looking for excuses where there aint any. you can come up with all the excuses in the world that you desire (if that makes you sleep better at night), but that wont make Ham any higher in the championship. this is called F1, not "hoping and dreaming, ifs buts and maybes" F1........It's clear at this stage that you are impossible to have a meaningful conversation with. You are stuck with your lopsided view, unwilling to give consideration to what others are saying. I choose the people I have conversations with and you, my friend, are not that kind of person. Au revoir! |
The IFs and BUTs count in this case for the very reason that they both have the same car. Now if we were 'wishing' that they both had the same car, then those are imaginary IFs and BUTs. The fact is that they do. Therefore it follows that Ham should not have infinitely more failures than Nico being in the same team. Something is going on. This is not wishing. I feel, despite your explanation, that you are still being deliberately disingenuous in your analysis and that stating 'Nico is ahead of Lewis in the championship' is more appropriate to what you explained than "Ham is chasing the Berg". The IFs and BUTs being considered here are very valid. Some even believe there is a conspiracy against Ham. If Ham has had DNFs that were his own fault, then by all means, you can go ahead and claim that Lewis is chasing Nico. But he's had very strange things happen, they no longer look like co-incidences. For instance, Ham would have finished on pole ahead of Nico at Monaco. But Nico cheated. Nico knows Ham would have finished ahead of him. If we took only this event into consideration, Ham would be 9 points ahead of Nico. This alone renders your "Ham is chsing Nico" opinion lopsided. Like I said, if you want to consider saying Lewis is behind Nico, then fine but this Ham is chasing the berg thing is a fraudulent claim - deliberately omitting valid considerations. Nico's had one DNF and no failures before a race. With Ham limited to such technical reliability, he would be miles ahead of Nico. This is why you should consider A-40's point. A-40 believes you being deliberately dishonest and perhaps is why he is aggressive. Having debated with you for only 1 day, I already feel the same. |
MRbrownJAY: ^^^ok my bad.......You are being dubious in presenting your opinion claiming Lewis is chasing Nico when in fact, what you mean is Lewis is behind Nico. And this is not a mistake on your part, it is deliberate. For instance, you consider that Alonso is the best driver. This is admitting that Alonso is a superior driver to Nico and that the championship, in your own words, 'isn't about the best driver'. So what is your point when you state that 'Ham is chasing the berg' (and that is annoying as hell but topic for another day)? Perhaps we should start there. Are you stating that Nico is a better driver than Lewis? . It is important you answer this question because this enables me understand how long more I have to go explaining things. |
Bimfo: He has plans for Baker!..I don't read from goal.com. I indeed copied that from the TOCFCWS. That said, I have how seen quotes where he mentions Lewis and the hopes he has for him. |
Nihilist: Btw, is Darcourt the same person as Nateevs?Spambot no go let me rest. |
There is no doubt the young players who have been part of the trip to date have impressed, not only with their performances during matches, but also their attitude and application in training. Mourinho expects to bring a couple of them into the first-team squad for the coming campaign, and believes the future is bright. ‘We are going to have (Andreas) Christensen and (Nathan) Ake, who are coming from the Academy,’ he said. ‘We are going to have training with us, but also playing for the Under-21 team, (Dominic) Solanke, (Jeremie) Boga and (Izzy) Brown. ‘The other ones who are a bit older, 20 or 21, we feel they need to compete against men in a different league, people like Bamford, Swift, Chalobah. They are ready to go to other clubs and have a good loan. ‘What we are trying to do, and we believe we are going to be successful, is in a few years’ time, when they are between 20 and 23, we will have them back at the right moment and in the first-team squad.’ Sadly, no mention of Lewis Baker. |
MRbrownJAY: ^^^ creating fake profiles yesterday (Darcourt) just to give replies to two threads where you are actively posting is just how low you are.... we know you have absolutely nothing to say (or support) here, as usual, but gibberish to try to smoke screen the REAL issue. run along son you and your fake profiles.Calm down Mr Oga. I am the one who registered Darcourt because of the spambot. You have a lopsided way of looking at F1. You don't come to the conclusion of 'Ham chasing the Berg' without consideration of genuine mitigating factors on Lewis' chances. Ham's car, through no fault of his has had reliability issues 4 times this season. (Miraculously though, to Nico's only one time). If those issues were Lewis' fault, then you can cite Rosberg's ability to manage his car better. But they aren't. If Lewis and Nico were on different teams, then you could cite, better team. But they aren't If you canot comport the ability to imagine for a second, what the championship might be like if, Lewis' car (and I say again, due to no fault of his) had just about the same reliability issues as Nico's (which is almost 100%), then sorry my friend F1 is not for you. It's amazing that you are the one wanting to consider only "THE FACTS" yet only picking and choosing the facts you want to consider. The only way your point of view holds water is if they both finish in qualifying and Nico finishes ahead of Lewis and then finishes ahead of Lewis when both finish races. Until then, the only thing you can hold on to is that Nico has managed more points than Lewis. That definitely is a fact. To however attempt to make it look like Lewis has been chasing Nico all year? That's just a very uninformed way of looking at things. |
Errrm. Drogba's back. |
This is usually the problem with these people. They feel because it's the word of God it's okay to post anywhere even if it breaks rules. |
lalaboi: Wow!. . Was it that bad?Bros, really it was that bad. I fell asleep a few times. |
Pre-Season football. Good solo run by Boga to level scores. 90mins of absolute 5h1t football. |
You can already see the factions in the team ![]() Torres, Fab, Costa, Filipe, Cesar. Spanish connection sitting from left to right. |
