Hehehe. Comedy on here. Name calling from fans themselves. |
For all the talk about Mata's lack of energy, he remains at this moment, head and shoulder about everything we have as a no 10. This is why any talk about Mata being sold, loaned or swapped is stoopid. Not at least until one of the young boys steps up. |
It's not working. Change please. |
Haha. I can't wait to see this. JM playing without a target man. I expect Schurrle to play up front than most. I anticipate insane intensity and movement. |
nitlad: Let these ninjas go out and destroy Manure tonight:Solid line up. This will worry United in all departments of play. I worry about Essien's energy tracking back. I saw him in PS and though he looked good going forward, not so much tracking back. He's not played since then. I still don't know who to go for in his place. If Jose is feeling adventurous, he could use MvG. I suspect though that he wouldn't. In terms of subs, what the difference is from last year is that we could possibly have a bench of 6 from any of Schwarzer, KDB, Oscar, Willian, Luiz, Mikel, Lampard, Moses, Torres, Ba, Azpilicueta, Essien, MvG. ![]() |
El Guapo: Reiterated a good number of times but the report still receives a chunck of uncertainty esp now we've added a high priced AMMore like a highly priced wide player to me. Willian is not established as an AM. |
JM has confirmed a few times now that Mata is not leaving. I don't expect that to change. |
Ibime: lolGrammar. Disprove my posts if you can. And if you post bullsh!t like you did about Luiz again, I will quote it and say it's rubbish. |
Ibime: We don't need to find posts. Your weekly persecution of Sturridge and daily praise of Shekpe keeper is enough to paint the picture. Just few days ago, you were backing up your stance by listing the managers who didn't play Sturridge as your alibis in why Studge was not deserving. We don't need to go data mining. Your position is clear.Hehehe. Trying to smart. I spent the whole of last season arguing in my opinion, why I thought Torres was not scoring. In separate arguments, I attempted to point out that Sturridge has not been chosen under 4 successive managers. How this has turned out to mean a preference of one over the other beats my imagination. Who deserved to wear no 9? I don't know. I didn't argue who should and I am not about to begin now. |
Ibime: Grammar.Grammar. I swear it's quicker to find the posts. |
mithel: Abegi , spare usFind the post or STFU. |
OMO IBO: Nateevs, Can you please tell me how torres is a better striker when compared to sturridge??Can you please find a post of mine where I said such? |
Ramires and Gundogan is still somewhat close with Gundogan slightly nudging it but Gotze vs Hazard? Hazard isn't even that quick to start with certainly not as quick as Gotze
But how do you know this? Slightly nudging it. Every single human on earth who has seen Ramires know he is one of the quickest players playing the game now. The logic does not work. Ritchboy is the third person in a row that doesn't agree with this. |
So in two instances, A40 has attempted to compare Hazard's pace to Goetze's by using Dortmund's collective pace in counter attack as the yardstick. How does this help establish who is quicker? Isn't this like telling me Gundogan is quicker than Ramires because Dortmund's counter is quicker than Chelsea's. |
Ibime: Funny how nobody gree pick the £30m irreplaceable defender, preferring others wey boku for market. And I think we all pretty much agree on why that is. Simple. He is the 'only' reason Chelsea have conceded more goals since 2009. That's why. That's why he can't make it into an all star Bayern/Chelsea 11. |
Baba oh like C-Caution? Gotze is way quicker than Hazard
Is there another Goetze I don't know about? |
Terry,Bertrand lol less than 10%! Happy? We are talking of guys still at the club BTW notice I didn't even mention Hummels! Glen Johnson no be una player abeg scratch am comot that list
I didn't join the debate. Just had to comment on the 'Zero' percent thing. Even if na 5%, we still try. In 2/3 years, I fully expect Chalobah, Ake, Traore, RLC, Boga, Josh, Feruz to be in/around the first team. What you are discussing actually doesn't take into consideration the establishment of both clubs as European giants over the years. Chelsea had to spend money to get to where we are. There's no other way to do it. The good thing is while all that has been going on, we have been investing heavily in youth football. 10 years is just about right to begin to see the results. This talk of Chelsea not giving time to young players will be over soon enough. Just like the "you have no history" is gradually fading away. |
jackbauersballs: @Coogar,I don't believe Ozil is anything like Hazard. Completely different players. Hazard is one of those rare players that has the pace and explosive nature about his game to play on the wings and at the same the football intelligence to slow it down and play through the middle if need be. In fact, I believe we have not seen 50% of what Hazard can bring. If you ask me, if he is half as dedicated as Ronaldo in training, he would top Robben's ability easily. |
dayokanu: -------NeuerThis would be just about right to me as well. Except, sorry Cole for me and I have love for Hazard so I will sit down Ribery. |
With your pathetic command of English even the Mushin faithful are weeping for you! Nkita ara talking about Brooklyn I have bad news for you: There are no fonts in the world that can mask your ignorance Only that my version is like Windows 8 his is sorta like Windows 95 ![]() Then he had to phuck it up by comparing Bayern's policy to Chelsea's who have zero record of bringing youth's through
Sorry? Zero record bawo? John Terry, Ryan Bertrand. Haba bros! I can ivun join Robert Huth and Glen Johnson somehow somehow. No yab us like that na. |
So JM pretty much confirms Willian is coming and Mata stays. He also said if one comes in, one goes out on loan. I am guessing Willian in, Moses out and Rooney in, Ba out. |
jackbauersballs: Meanwhile A-40 and Guapo are singing the same chorus in different clefs -Your points actually complement each other.Succinctly put. Masterstroke! |
Emmadani: dnt 4get robinho had medical at chelsea but man shity stole him away.Dis willian saga, abramovich is much involved and u know d typ of man he his.It didn't get as far as medical. Chelsea botched the deal by mistakenly releasing the Robinho jersey on the online megastore and Real pulled the plug on the deal. |
coogar: the season is a marathon race - you can't just highlight inconsequential matches and berate players for their errors in those games. usain bolt can screw up in the qualifiers or the heat - he can even afford to come 2nd or 3rd in the semis.....but he dares not screw up in the final. The more important question is why was the entire Chelsea back line was that high up at that point in the game? That my friend is not David's fault and that is the primary reason for the goal conceded. |
Emmadani: av u forgotten so quickly dat he also gave us our only trouphy last season. You have not followed the discussion. |
Coogar. The City of London/Council/Mayor whoever it is that makes the final decision to sell the Power Station will certainly not give a rat's ass about who just won the league. The is the UK. |
El Guapo: Terry's Gangnam fall against Arsenal last two Seasons at the bridge! . |
Thank Goodness common sense is prevailing eventually. Who can quickly forget Ivanovic against Swansea last season in the Carling Cup? Not for those two mistakes, we would have won one more trophy. Let's just sell him. |
nitlad: Abegi make we hear word o jare. . Jokes apart, David Luiz really did that. Really on this note, we can begin a small thread where everyone gets to blame David Luiz for anything at all. Anything goes. |
Ibime: But at least the £30m irreplaceable man should prevent şuch a drastic downturn in defensive solidity. If ninjas before were conceding 0.84 goals per game, the great irreplaceable Luiz should limit fallout to 0.95 or something more respectable. Some real irreplaceable defenders like Vidic are able to sit behindMate don't argue 3 things at the same time. What I argued in favour of lends no credence to a claim that increase in the goals conceded is 'solely' down to David Luiz. Who says such? It's stoopid to draw parallels between Luiz and Alex by asking for disgraces from Alex when (a) Chelsea were playing a deeper line in defense (b) Chelsea played with the likes of Makalele, Ballack, Essien as protection for the back four (c) The overall style was largely cautious and less gung-ho. In the same vein, you cannot call out David Luiz as the sole reason goals have increased when we ditched cautious play for defensive high lines. Bigger, more physical players for smaller smarter players. That's just garbage talk. You are highlighting the cons of a different technical approach we embarked on - post JM/Grant/Hiddink - and then blaming David Luiz for the resulting effect. That's just mad. I bothered to find out where Okore was when Ivanovic was heading Chelsea home to bag 3 points? I found him. Totally rooted to the ground.
|
Nothing to do with change in playing and particularly defensive philosophy, dozen of managers, technical and managerial instability, change in type of attacking players, tactics, formation change, just David Luiz. Only David Luiz. |
chelsea won't die if roman walks, another rich arab would just take over and normal services would resume. chelsea's location is very attractive!Roman has had to pay less into Chelsea year by year. The chances of him walking are getting slimmer by the second. but it has cost more than £1 billion - way more than the projections predicted. by now, chelsea should have been dominant in england and winning the title every season but they have only won the league once in the last 7 years.A point I have criticized many times before myself. However, this discussion is about Chelsea's perceived sustainability. how's wage bill less with hazard, oscar, torres, etc? you also added jose to the crew? can't wait to see 12/13's financial statement.Malouda, Ferreira, Kalou, Drogba, Anelka. All high earners off the wage bill. I do not think Oscar earns more than £40k as we speak. chelsea cannot break even with that stadium - they need a bigger stadium. 40,000 is too small for chelsea's calibre. there are more than 5 million chelsea fans in the UK so it's obvious there would be a waiting list of season tickets. But they did break even last year. I agree the stadium is too small. If things had worked out fine, Roman would have been building something fancy over Battersea Power Station. It would happen, in about 3 years I suppose. |
