IMO with Mikel on the pitch, Lamps plays better.

Ibime's reason is that when you play with advancing fullbacks, you need a DM with pace who can fall back quickly into the space between the CBs and provide a flat 3 that offers a solid defensive cover in a counter-attack.
He says Mikel is too slow!.

It's always very easy to underestimate what he brings to the team.
Little wonder our solidity in defence and quick passing have improved since he's been drafted back into the team.
Essien should not be allowed near that position again.
