@ Ako,

Let's just hope he stays fit, otherwise we may be talking Shevchenko-level returns on Investment.

@ All,

What position will Kakuta play @ Bolton inbetween Duff, Davies, Dempsey, Gera and now Gudjohnsen.

Likewise, where will DS play at Bolton between himself, Davies and Elmander.

Both of these teams will have to change their formation from 4-4-2 to 4-3-3 to accomodate DS and GK.
You meant Kakuta at Fulham. Until this season, I never knew Kakuta to play on the forward line of a 4-3-3. He always played in CM.
I am hoping he will get a chance and prove himself. I am also hoping he gets that chance in CM.

Just watched Coyle speak on SSN, DS is walking straight into the team against Wolves tomorrow. He (Coyle) spoke really highly of Danny and I am so he has plans.

Arshavin was cup-tied when he signed for Arsenal cos he played for Zenit in the Uefa Cup. . .

Either they've changed the rules recently or Lalaboi is talking shyte as usual.
The rules state that you are allowed only one player who has already featured in the UEFA Cup to feature in the CL.
So yes he can play in the CL.

Danny Sturridge on loan to Bolton is one of the best loan moves we've made recently.
With Kakuta to Fulham as well, I am hoping they will get that desired experience.

They could even find new roles to adapt to while on loan.

Other players on loan

Jacob Mellis to Barnsley
Pat Van Aanholt to Leicester.

Matic has left the club in the Luiz deal. We wish him well in his future endeavours.
Ryan Betrand is back from loan to provide cover at LB.

If y'all really want him surely the jump from £40m to £50m isn't that large for RM. I think this one might go down to the wire.
I do think the deal can go on at £40m. However £40m and Anelka or £50m cash will flatter even Torres himself.
Insisting on the £50m range I believe is Liverpool indirect way of saying "No we are not selling" . .

There's going to be a lot of buying in the summer with rumours of the likes of Drog leaving and all. . £50m in this window is ridiculous.

I should ask you Uncle switch. You spend an unbelievable amount of time hating Chelsea and spewing so much dust that you don't even bother to type the correct grammar until I correct you.

Things like "analist" and "number 5th" are two of a catalogue of monumental errors you've got littering these pages. . The funny thing is that you are not a silly person and you really do know how to spell. Your stupidity only arises from the inability to control yourself.

The explicable burning desire to post here is much more important than how you write them; even though it's always a repeat of what you've said over and over again in a painful and crazy mixture of lower and upper case letters and a total disregard for writing syntax and punctuations. . . . .always! shocked

Well, may be you really are . . . .  cheesy

This really worries me a lot. I hope this doesn't cause more wahala in the team, else we will be finishing in number "5th" . . grin
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Chelsea Fans Thread : Winners of the FA Cup And League Winners 09/10 by nateevs(m): 12:02am On Jan 30, 2011
I can make a case for Torres in that he is never rested well after injuries because he is Liverpool's all. He has to play always. Without him they are stint.
It won't be the same at Chelsea who already have four strikers. He doesn't have to play every 90mins.

That said I cannot think of a worse deal than this. Why in this world do we want Torres? I'd rather meet Aguero's buy-out clause. Lukaku, Neymar and even Ganso in midfield are all players I will lavish £50m on. I have always thought where and how is he going to play?
His coming here could end up causing more problems than it solves. Drogba who will always have to make way for him will certainly not be happy (not like he's scoring at the moment). Are we going to buy a striker for £50m and put him on the bench? Carllotti must be wondering why he took this job? After a man wins the double, he can't make his own decisions.

Now reports are flying around that Liverpool have agreed to a deal of £47.5m. My lord! That's a lot of money for one player. I hope he wins us the CL.

Who dash monkey banana? yu want them to pack goals back go Stamford Bridge? undecided
Everytime Josh's name is mentioned, you are around.
It seems you only always want to make a point of him not being as good as others think.
You are always found comparing him with Wilshere. . .
He is 17. Why don't you give him a break?

I completely agree with you. Any suggestions as to who is capable of filling this position since Josh ain't getting the nod.
The window is over now. If only we were running after midfielders instead defenders and strikers.
What I just don't get is when we need a goal, Carllotti throws on JMcE. If he is good enough to get on when we need a goal, why can't he start more games.
I am not in favour of saddling young boys with the responsibility of ensuring the club success but who else do we have?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Everton Vs Chelsea - Fa Cup Fourth Round. by nateevs(op): 3:39pm On Jan 29, 2011
Honestly we need mid-fielders.
Lamps may be on his last run, though just back from injury.
Essien is so sloppy and Ramires, well. . . . I will give anything to have Benayoun back from injury.

Anelka and Drogba can be very annoying.
Anelka ruins a good counter with hugging. . Drogba receives the pass, loses it and beginns feigning injury.
