I really thot Drog was going to tuck that in. |
lalaboi:Hehehe. |

Oh my word! You will not find anything better. . . What a strike. |
It seemed for a moment there that Muamba was going to walk in. Reminiscent of Onuoha. |
Here we go. |
Bolton are at home to Chelsea. Last meeting of both teams in London ended with 1-0 victory for the champions; enough though for the much coveted three points Carlo Ancellotti's side desperately needs. This tie however may prove more diffcult for Chelsea especially with rivals Manchester Utd and Arsenal despatching their respective opponents convincingly at the weekend. Lampard is out for the champions and Mikel is back in the side. |
debosky:Sharap. We buy big when there is a need to. Sanchez to follow. |
A number of links claim David Luiz is almost a done deal and will be joining in the next 48 hours. £21.5m. |
Ibime:Then again, everyone has been rubbish at Wolfsburg this season. So has everyone at Chelsea. The guy was very decent at Palermo. |
Kakuta may join Fulham on loan. |
Chelsea may sign Wolfsburg defender Simon Kjaer as early as Monday for £12.5m. . . I guess.the Luiz deal is becoming too expensive. In other news, Alexis Sanchez could be a Chelsea player before the end of Jan. |
Our young boys just beat Arsenal. 2-1. Great game. Josh was great. |
Lamps is well. Slight strain to the calf. Meanwhile we are extending Bosingwa's contract by a year. |
debosky:Dude read well. That part was a conclusion of the writer rather any quote from Pienaar. |
Hahahaha. Lamps injured. Great. One player injured and we know there will be trouble. That's how bad we've become. |
I'd rather get Krancjar, if we are only looking to bolster squad depth. |
PIENAAR: WHY I SAID NO TO CHELSEA. Steven Pienaar says he snubbed Chelsea to join Spurs because he wasn’t sure Carlo Ancelotti really wanted him, Ancelotti’s low-key approach to talks with Pienaar helped the South African decide he was better off moving to London rivals Spurs. In contrast, Spurs boss Harry Redknapp convinced Pienaar that the White Hart Lane club were going places. A source close to the player said: “When Steven met Ancelotti he said very little and did not seem that bothered if he signed or not. Harry was totally the opposite. He told Steven he could could play him on the left, the right or even in the middle for Spurs and that they were going to go all the way in the Champions League and finish in the top four. He was so enthusiastic and bubbly that Steven knew straight away White Hart Lane was the place for him.” Pienaar apparently felt that Chelsea, with an ageing squad, were a club in decline, whereas Spurs are on the way up, |
Villa have completed the signing of Bent. Bent for £24m? And here I was thinking the Chelsea board were bonkers. . |
FBS:Liverpool Sunday 6/2/11 Birmingham Saturday 26/2/11 |
Ibime:They are the Lyon of Portugal. However with the Luiz transfer, I think they'll be probably settle for far less. Especially with the potential of Ferreira going the other way. |
Well what do you expect the poor guy to do when everyone in the press always links every player to Chelsea every transfer window. Carlloti denied the bid before the press got to know there was a bid from Chelsea. It was a supposed rumour at that point in time. Just like every manager denies a rumoured bid, Carlotti saw fit to do. If the board then goes behind his back and make him look like a dottie, what's he to do? |
Well this aw you know it's not well at Chelsea. For FBS who keeps asking how I know all this, check out what Harry says about Pienaar transfer. I don't know if we would be prepared to match that offer to be honest with you. I doubt it very much," Redknapp said after Sunday's 0-0 draw with Manchester United. "The chairman made an offer to take him but Chelsea have come in with three million pounds and if Everton are prepared to sell him they would probably get him. "It's all very strange to me how they have suddenly offered three million pounds for him. "The manager of Chelsea, he's a lovely guy and honest as the day is long, comes on televisison and denies they made an offer for Pienaar. I don't know who has made the offer. "I've got my own ideas about the whole situation but I couldn't say. I think I do know what's happening but if I said I would be in big trouble." Form your own judgements. |
Steven Pienaar? I am shocked. Listening to David Moyes some minutes ago on Talksports confirming that a bid of 3m from Chelsea has been accepted and I am sitting there thinking WTF? Ibime you seem ok with this. Here we are saying Essien is aging and we are bidding yet on another dying midfielder, 29 in March if we can believe that. Dude could show up, play a few matches, get injured for four months anr his Chelsea career is perhaps over. It'd take some time for recovery and this time next year he is already in the ACN. I dont care if it's 3m. I dont know whether to call this a poor deal. Anyone who feels otherwise should enlighten me. I mean Arsenal "may" be wrapping up a 5m deal for Alex Chamberlain. On the contrary, I do like the sound of Ferreira plus cash for David Luiz who is 24, a top class defender and can play RB and CB. Plus Arnesen confirms that Gregory Van der Wiel is top of our "transfer target list". It's nice to know though that we have a list. |
sayhi2ay:That's why it's called estimate. It keeps changing as traffic conditions change. Though I quite agree with the speed limit issue. That said, things can always be done. . and yes there is a need for it. Have you never been lost in Lagos before? |
OMO IBO:A club like Chelsea is different where you won't find a SAF who will stick with a bunch of young players, win nothing for 2 seasons and still keep his job. Managers come and go and Chelsea, they fear for their jobs and find a lot of reluctance playing young players for fear of bad results. A young player must therefore take the opportunities given, in realization that they won't come frequently, else, you''ll be playing Ligue 1 footie before you know it. DS should learn to keep a lid on his urge. |
FBS:Absolutely. That's what he's got to learn. Else, he'll waste two many chances and that will be interpreted as ineffective in a big club. It's better to make an assist than waste a chance. |
3 pts! . . So long. |
OMO IBO:OMO IBO is Danny's biggest fan. |
Gosh! FBS Did you see what JMcE did there? |
Very poor from Danny. |
Free kick. Time for DD to score. |
