debosky:Wish capitulation. . ? We are 5 points ahead you. We have had at least 7 crucial players in and out of the team. Losing to Liverpool is nothing anyone should have an opinion about. . . The intense rivalry between Pool and Chelsea can only be explained by the two teams. Both teams will dust their shoulders after this and carry on with biz as usual. Except, while we are walking into the next 3 games with our eyes set on maximum 9 pts, y'all don't know who next will be 3 goals up at the emirates at 60 mins. Funny enough, it could be Wolves. |
Mr Megastreet. Stop saying that thing about Anelka. . . How many players in Chelsea can you stick on the right, the left, allow to roam about, come to the midfield and assists immensely with ball possession and still score 25 goals in 08/09, 15 goals in 09/10 and already on 10 goals in 10/11. You need to change your perception about the player like Ibime said. I was the biggest critic of Lampard on this thread. . . . Never again. I miss the dude like badly. Secondly, anybody expecting us to walk over Liverpool in Anfield has not been watching Chelsea for a while. If you expect 3 points against Aston Villa, Spurs, Liverpool, Blackburn and Everton every season, home or away, then you have not watched Chelsea for a long time. I don't. So when we cop 3 points against these teams. I jump and punch the air. . . It's a bonus. So instead of complaining, watch the stats. |
slimshay:You still believe you will win the premiership don't you? |
switch47:You've been preaching this message for almost 3 years. Jesus will probably come back before this doom comes to past. |
There was no Essien. We miss all sorts creativity in midfield. That's why have players like Lampard, benayoun and Essien and unfortunately, they were all unavailable. |
Zero performance ? I didn't see that. The second was a lot better. We didn't score but hey, you've got to lose some. |
After those 2 chances, it's not going to happen today. Let's enjoy the last few minutes. I needed a response and I got one. We didn't score but we've played very well in the second half. |
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh |
Though I so much want us to come back, I won't be losing sleep if we lose this one. |
Danny on for Zhirkov. . Hmmm, not quite sure about that one. |
cabali:Bosingwa is a better attacking full back. |
Cougar:Don't be a chump . . . This was your earlier quote. chelsea have failed every big test they have encountered this season. loss at city, losing at liverpool. not looking good. Where did you mention defeats at home, away or otherwise. . ? Now you are turning the story on it's head when you know you've been found out. I challenged you for using the word "every" when there has only been one and second one is not yet over . . How can you use "every single test" for a single event? Even two? |
How did we not score that? |
Cougar:But they are not in the top six; so how on earth do they qualify as a stiff test? You never use "top six" for Arsenal. . .More like "top four" every single season. Yet Liverpool are a stiff test and Arsenal are not. And Bros, last time I checked Blackpool are a newly promoted team and they beat Liverpool at home. You've got to laugh at this guy. |
Cougar:Now I know you don't know what you are talking about. Have you watched the table lately? Do you know many games Liverpool have lost? and at home as well? Liverpool are currently 12th on the table yet they are a test and Arsenal is not. . . Go and have a rest dude. |
Ok. . 2nd half. . How can Liverpool choose today not to concede a goal. |
Cougar:How convenient for you to use the word "Every" when you go on and say this is the second one. Even if we lose this one, it is still inappropriate to use the word "every" . . Unless you are saying Arsenal is not a big test. |
cabali:That is not the issue. It's got nothing to do with Anelka. The midfield is so uncreative. I haven't seen us dominate an EPL side when Ramires is playing alongside Essien or Mikel. That is the issue. Liverpool have worked out that we are potent on the left and they have men queueing up on the left. We should use the inside of midfield. That's the only way we can break them down. Plus Drogba needs to come in ASAP. |
Catastrophic error by Ashley Cole and if Ivanovic has watch Torres time and again, you know that you don't show Torres the inside of your goal. It's not impossible to come back but with way we are playing, it's not likely. |
Fine. . . Just so brilliant. |
FBS:I am a massive admirer of Nic but like Cababli, I have got to say I can't see that too. |
They are either really solid at the back or we are making them look like the best defensive unit on earth. |
That could well have been a penalty. We are keeping the ball but not penetrating. |
Now we have to score 2 for any chance of taking 3 points. |
That's Torres for you. |
No Drog is starting line up. |
Now I am going to only laugh at those of the lot who kept on nursing the ambition of winning the Prem. Is this how you do it? |
One really needs to pay attention to Anelka. . . While I ahve never been one of his critics, it is easy to overlook his contribution to the team. 10 goals, and its not half season yet. I remember posting Srna story here in the summer. He his much more than a Bosingwa, as he can also play RW, and DM positions. However I don't think we should buy him anymore. . . He's 28 now and I believe the club is focusing more on talents with resale value (not that we are a selling club) . . Neymar is the player I think the club will bring to the club if there will be a transfer at all. Mancienne will have to pick that form up real quick. However, I don't see him playing for Chelsea again. He is not good enough to displace Mikel in DM. If Mikel is unavailable, Essien will slot in. So will Ramires. Even Matic has a better shot at this position that Mancienne does. Not to mention an array of players coming up like Aliu Djalo, Chalobah and Jacopo Sala who are specialists in that position. He also will have a tough time at CB. . JT is here for at least 3 more years. Alex, Ivanovic and Bruma are all better. He will be sold. ------------------------- |
dyabman:Carllotti says there will be no transfer in January. He insists the youth will be given a chance. The Lukaku story is gaining grounds. Though if anything at all, it will be in the summer. Lukaku is a massive admirer of Chelsea's and hopes to play for us some day plus Drogba is his icon. I say it is a decent signing if it happens. For now, I want us to concentrate on blending the youth in. Josh is becoming a permanent sub. I will want us to give chances to Borini and will like to see Kakuta's contract issues resolved. Jefferey Bruma, Van Aanholt I will like to see as reliable subs. Nemanja Matic is on loan at Vitesse. Bring back Matej Delac from loan to be back up keeper. Turnbull is disaster. Gokhan Tore and Aliu Djalo are also young players that I hope can step in a season or two. While I don't want us to become an Arsenal, buying in every transfer will become something of the past in Chelsea. So the sooner we start to bring in young players, the better. |
Are you sure Malouda is in FBS? I heard he is out for 3 weeks. Can anyone confirm that? |
toba:Not all of them have the patience to build. Mourinho is certainly not the manager that builds and me sef is right. Hiddink yes, but you hardly will come across high profile managers who like to get down and dirty. Many of them will find life comfortable outside the continent looking for players all over Europe when there is an abundance of talents on the home front. Also becos a coach has got a name doesn't mean he can build a team. What has Capello built in England. When he has the opportunity to restart with players like Adam Johnson, Walcott, Caroll, Jonjo Shelvey, Wilshere. . . He sticks to his old guns and continues to play a 4-4-2 with 2 of Barry, Lampard and Gerard in midfield always. Siasia is the most accomplished Nigerian coach. He knows the terrain and he is technically astute. He is cheaper than a Mourinho and if given time, could take us back to the glory days. |
Who argues like this anyway. . ? What has world cup winning players in one club got to do with anything? How many world cup winning players have played in ManU? What has that changed? Arsenal fans firmly hold on to frivolous things. . . Is the throphy famine that bad. . ? |
