Some quick news that came through last night. . . .


Chelsea ordered to pay £3.5m initial fee for Daniel Sturridge.

Also an additional £0.5m when he makes 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 first team appearances.

Plus another £1m if he earns a full England cap.

Citeh are also entitled to 15% of any sell-on fee.



If all these happen, Chelsea will pay £7m for Sturridge in total.

I dont know about you guys but £5m - £7m is the price I'd place on Sturridge anyway.

That match has been played for at least two weeks now. I was going to run a report on it. Conor Clifford and Jacopo Sala were involved in the youth cup on Monday. So they couldn't have been at Nottingham Forest and Celtic on the same day.

Anyways, Chelsea are through to the next round of the Youth FA Cup with a 4-0 trouncing of Nottinham Forest. Goals by Marko Mitrovic (2), Jacopo Sala and Danny Mills sent Chelsea cruising. Although the second goal didn't come until late in the second half, the boys were very much in control after Danny's header from a corner kick put us ahead 8 mins in the first half.

A lot of missed chances after Lalkovic came in for Josh Mcechran showed it was only a matter of time before the goals came. The goals came in quick succession with the second from Mitrovic, Clifford and Mitrovic again in the 76th, 82th and 92nd respectively.

Jeffrey Bruma suffered a hamstring injury and was subbed at half time.

Chelsea will now face Portsmouth in the next round.

Aliu Djalo aka Kaby has been put on my watch list. Joined Chelsea in 2008, and I have since seen him play but I hadn't concluded. I wanted to be sure he wasn't another flash in the pan. Kakuta-like technique with the posture, look and rigidity of Essien. . . Watch out for him.
