uve come with ur predictions again?
leave the job of prohesying to Prophets!!

City will not make the top 6!!!
Its not about the players most times, what about the coach?
To be in the top 4, you have to be able to have a string of wins. Can City go on a winning streak of 10 games just like the top 4?
Hell NO!!
they can be a tough opposition for the top 4 and quake when faced with the likes of Stoke
City aint ready yet.
Hughes will have to go and a coach with a winning mentality come on board b4 i can take them serious

as for now, its just a wild goose chase
You are not serious. You are only wishing . . . But for a slip, Terry would have made Avram Grant the most inexperienced Manager to win the CL. . and you say players can't do much . . .
Plus AG even went down to the wire with Utd in the league. . . final Carling Cup final as well.

You are chatting dust.

Now shall we begin to discuss what Sparky did at Blackburn. ? Y'all will be surprised.

City have signed Tevez - SSN
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread by nateevs(m): 7:21pm On Jul 13, 2009
You are very sad. . .

Tevez didn't score in UTD and you think Owen will. Sometimes even the most successful get things wrong. Believe me SAF has this one wrong.
You don't worry about Chelsea - the only club in the top four that hasn't lost a top player . . instead strengthening.
Y'all just keep signing Owen while we take a stroll to the title.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only by nateevs(m): 7:11pm On Jul 13, 2009
Oh Please! Don't even go there. . . . ManCity will and I mean will finish in the top four even if Tony Mowbray was their manager.
Go on and make yourself happy . . get deceived  and do not sign more players . . .

They have
                         ------------Given-----------

Corluka/Richards--Lescott--Dunne/Kompany/Toure-----Bridge

--------------------------De Jong/Kompany----------------------

-----------------Barry-------                   ------Ireland----------------

    SWP/Bellamy/RSC/Adebayor/Tevez/Robinho/Petrov

If they don't sign anyone else . . . . and you think this team won't finish in the top four. You must be high on something. . .
Hughes is perhaps the smartest of all managers. Apart from De jong, the last 11 players he's signed are established in the premiership. There is no "getting used to the prem" . . they only have to gel . . .

Go on and deceive yourself. .
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread by nateevs(m): 6:54pm On Jul 13, 2009
They don't fancy Spain . . they only fancy Real because of the money . . . It'll all be over in a few months. . .
Still that's no reason to sign Owen . . .

I'll rather sign Rory Delap . . . .

Chelsea will still sign two more players from Europe.

I still don't understand what you mean by "always". . . . We have not produced another in 7 years.
I am not against selling JT neither am I for it. . .

But you can't say we can "always". . . It's not like buying a player. . . It means growing up a player from the academy, to the first team to become a reliable player and then captain for many years.  That's what it means to find a Mr Chelsea!

Now tell me how often we get that at Chelsea? If you want to buy a reliable player you can "ALWAYS" do that. . . If you want a Mr Chelsea, you can't "ALWAYS" do that . . .

I wonna see more of the younger players play next season undecided
We not even made anyone since JT . . . How do we justify the "always". . ?
Carlotti has said anyway that "JT is captain forever". . . (What in the world does he mean by forever?)

@Chac.

Joey has recovered from injury. A few reports here and there linking him with a move to Spurs. Some players were born to play for Chelsea, Joey, Lampard and Terry.

I say Joey goes nowhere and y'all shall see the rejuvenated Joey next season.

@Cabali. . .

Lampard is articulate. . . It surprised me when I learnt that as well. . . That however can't be mistaken for leadership qualities.
Lampard can't organize like Terry can. Lampard only raises his hands and gesticulates. Terry shouts and tells them off when they make common mistakes. It is also tactically sound to make a defender or gaol-keeper the captain. He always has a good view of the team set-up in attack and in defence.

I do believe we can do without any player honestly. . any player. If we get £35m for Terry and he wants to go. I will say take it. . . if he wants to stay, I will say stay.

Bane and Alex will make mistakes but they'll get it right with time. we have Mancienne as back-up and we can always bring back Rajkovic.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here by nateevs(op): 7:52am On Jul 06, 2009
You guys are funny. This is not a thing of selecting Cech on past reputation. The question however is replace with whom ?

@Cabali

I disagree with the suggestion that Lampard can carry the team. Lampard may be tactically effective, his personality however is timid.

@Jalether

Are you high on eba? Sell Petr Cech? . . . . I am laughing in greek. . and replace with whom?
You can't even point to many situations where Petr conceded many cheap goals. . and you think it's time to sell him?

How many of the world's top goalkeepers neva had a glitch in their careers?

Sell Cech ? . . . Come off it man!
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here by nateevs(op): 10:03am On Jul 05, 2009
Good Part.

Sell him for £35m, best piece of biz we ever did in the history of Chelsea. The money will help to fund big money signings. He's 28, he's losing that grip. We will never break the Mafia/Untouchable thingy if we don't sell him. We will never sign a player and pay him more than JT - a clause in his contract puts him at par with the highest paid player at Chelsea (Not that I support paying any player more than £130,000). Above all, we'll save over £6.5m a year in yearly wages paid to JT. While we wait to lay off Ballack and Sheva.

Bad Part

While selling for £35m might be a considerable thing to do, the fact that we've had one of the best defences in the world in the past 6 seasons ( the best in 3 of them), I think it'll cost us more that £35m in the long run. We will lose all bits of organization. If Carlotti cannot speak English yet, we need a motivator. JT is it. Plus he will serve as an inspiration to younger defenders (Bane, Mancienne et al).
Also, considering the fact that we are selling Carvalho this season, it def will not make any bit of sense to sell JT in the same season.

Whichever party you choose to join, there are consequences. Tough decision eh?

ManCity actually bid for JT in the Jan transfer . . . . b4 this bid.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here by nateevs(op): 5:25pm On Jul 02, 2009
While I am not jumping in the defence of Carlotti already, there is nothing in the article that suggests Carlo doesn't want DiSanto.
With this assertion we might as well sell Sturridge as soon as we sign him because Carlotti doesn't like young players.

I have seen this in the news about Sam wanting to loan DiSanto. I ignored it thinking Chelsea won't loan DiSanto. The way I saw it was DiSanto is a far better player than Sinclair and Sahar put together and he of all the young players we have has the brightest chances of a starter.

That Sam now wants DiSanto on permanent basis is only speculation - at least according to the article.
