Dearth of quality strikers is what's making the likes of Nateevs, Ibime, Timbros to be hyping Jackson. Mou would have banished him to the developmental team.
So you recognise that there is a dearth of quality strikers you come dey disturb my peace. What had the argument been this whole time?

I have been saying pound for pound, Jackson is one of the best out there, for all his alebu. He cost 30m!!!

The first iteration of this debate came when you were polluting the place with Vlahovic nonsense. Ninjah that was being auctioned at £80m but dropping only 2/3 goals more than Jackson at £30m. And since then it's been a plethora of average performing strikers you go dey mention. Dovbyk, Guirassy, Rodrigo fucking Muniz.....

Like I told you on several occasions, the Chelsea board is not stupid. They are aware that if we are going to be shelling 80m on a striker, dude better be doubling Jackson's numbers. Not marginal increase.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by nateevs(m): 9:47pm On Jan 03, 2025
Glad to see the discourse is coming down to common sense zone. When some ninjahs be screaming top striker top striker, and we ask then to name names, and actors like Dovbyk and Muniz be getting named, you know something has changed.

The change is distributed goal action - support cast involvement. Tactics and balance of the game have become more important aspects, than the need to have a 30-goal striker, if said striker is bringing nothing else than goals.

You see the likes of Liverpool and Madrid showing that the no 9 is obsolete, competing and winning championships without a traditional 9.... meanwhile ninjahs still be screaming for top 9.

I am not saying attack or defence is our problem. But sometimes, it seems we give room for too much mediocrity. Just like Chelsea, Arsenal conceded an unexpected goal against Brentford, they did not panic. They picked themselves up and scored three more. But we were here the other day analysing why we conceded to Ipswich without replying back with 4 more goals. Maresca must sit up and build a winning mentality, not players that fold up when the pressure is intense.
You cannot come back from 1 goal down if you have a dearth in chance creation/ goal scoring opportunities in your support cast. Most of our goals have come from Palmer and Jackson this season.

No matter how hard we try, they will not be on point every game. It's up to others to come up with the goals when required.

Arsenal have no Saka, no Rice, no Havertz, no Trossard playing in this game. If Neto and Sanchez are not playing, and Jackson/Palmer are having bad games, who's turning up for us? Madueke?

Project 2025 was a paper by Heritage Foundation. Some of his staffers went to work for that org.
It was their own product with some ideas that the Trump campaign also proposed.
Some people argue that Islam is a belief in monotheism, the oneness of one God , hence Adam was the first Muslim.
Project 2025 was more than just a paper Alhaji. But you can put that aside until Trump starts to (amongst other nasty things), fire civil servants in thousands. Then we will pick up that topic. I will laugh so hard at all you black people lining up behind this fool and his new Lord Elon.

My main point was talking about factories coming back to America. It is never going to happen.

We don't need to sign Haaland before getting an upgrade of Jackson. We just need a finisher who will bury most of our chances and won't give us HBP anytime he faces the keeper. Jackson shouldn't be starting for any top 4 in Epl.
Statistical neophytes coming up with bullshit again. There is no striker alive that will finish most of our chances. Find us the stats and prove us wrong.

If you think we are wrong, name names. Give us the strikers that you know will bury most of our chances.

You have every right to see what you want to see, even when I attached a footer that states how Liverpool play and Jota and Nunez as their point men.

You have every right to believe that we are still in 2024 as some Nigerians believed sometime ago that it wasn't Buhari at Aso rock that year and they were not arrested.

You are right, Jota wasn't the point man in that match. I goofed.
This is quite frankly, a phucking load of nonsense Airmark......trying to introduce a new phrase "point man" through the back door.

The question is whether Jota did or not, is he quite this top striker you keep claiming we need to mount a challenge?

Liverpool are not just only mounting a title challenge, they are THE CHALLENGE for everyone else across all competitions and they are doing it without half a striker.

Now tell us, how are they doing this?

Jota up front for Liverpool is synonymous to Felix for us. So what am I forcing?

Jota upfront for Liverpool is in complete disagreement to the point that you made about these small teams being unable to be opened up, and hence a need for a top striker.

You replying by saying Jota is point man for Liverpool doesn't address that point.

The question remains, how does Liverpool do it? Liverpool is running away with the league. They don't have a striker.

Maresca had asked him to be more brave on the pitch, but you can't give what you don't have.

I knew we could lose against Ipswich as any team that could be compact defensively and with a striker not as wasteful as Jackson, will have a chance against us. Just shut down the support casts, Jackson won't do jack.
How has Liverpool beaten these teams?

Not too long ago, we were one win away from temporarily moving top of the league. Three games later, were 3 points away from fifth and six away from ninth.

This winning streak really spoiled us. At this point I'm on my knees praying for a top four finish, and conference league win.
Short term memory is what kills fans really. That quick success papered over a few issues. Instead of recognising that Maresca was the real difference here, people started to applaud themselves for getting nonsense right.

Also when Maresca was saying we weren't in the title race, he was talking more than the title race. He was basically saying our position on the table should not put us in a false sense of assessment. The team is not ready yet.

Why did Felix not get any minutes at all? At least that one would've brought energy and he can contribute positively if e head touch. And Maresca keeps saying he loves him.
It's not a question of not liking Joao. We have only two wingers. The third one is a lazy-ass Ronaldo wannabe, and the fourth went and got himself banned from football.

We are back to having a support cast problem, with very paltry goal contribution levels from wing play. You see last week that Maresca promoted Tyrique George to the first team. But to be fair, Tyrique is not nearly ready. That is Maresca trying to manage this problem.

This is the exact situation Madueke could set himself up as the undisputed starting RW, but he will never be a top footballer.

When the boss said we are not title contenders, it's because he's reading the situation 100% correctly, and with 0% bais.

Bunch of fucking ingrates turning on Maresca. Imagine. When we were languishing in 10th last season, you would have been lucky to be in contention to win any game at all. Guy put us in title contention in under a third of the season with tactical flexibility, we dey blame am.

Maresca has been mentioning a number of times now that Madueke is not training well. Saying he scored and thinks he's arrived. It means exactly what some of us think and been saying for a while now - he's got poor professional attitude in training, and rightly, must not play.

It's obvious Nkunku is not a sub player. He hardly impacts games off the bench.
Hardly. That's why I say, for all of the complaints about Jackson, once he leaves the pitch, we lose that impact upfront and we start conceding.
