Foreign Affairs / How A Philadelphia Mob Boss Stole The US Election And Why It May Flip On Biden by nathaliya: 1:42pm On Nov 16, 2020
The innermost circles of the American mafia are abuzz. The Boss of the Philly mob — ‘Skinny Joey’ Merlino — is taking a victory strut, hobnobbing around the highest echelons of old-time mafia folk, mostly in Florida, describing what may have been the heist of the century: the 2020 presidential election.

The feat is drawing praise from far-flung corners of the Italian American business community, which sees the thanks of a grateful administration as key to the revival of the community’s political influence.

But an associate says that Merlino might just be willing to flip on Joe Biden and the Pennsylvania political operatives who ordered up some 300,000 election ballots marked for Biden. The source alleges that Merlino and a lean team of associates manufactured those ballots at a rate of $10 per ballot — a whopping $3 million for three days of work. They were then packaged into non-descript cardboard boxes and dropped off outside the Philadelphia Convention Center.

Sources who spoke to The Chronicle on the condition of anonymity say that Merlino picked up those ballots from two private households where a trusted handful of associates were busily marking ballots with Sharpie markers. They were paid more than $1,000 per hour, often producing thousands of ballots every hour for more than 60 nearly-consecutive hours.

The ballots were purchased in cash.

It’s thought that Democratic Party operatives working inside Philadelphia’s election office provided Merlino with crates of raw ballots just hours before polls closed on election night, which he transported to two private households in South Philadelphia. By 10 p.m. that night Merlino’s operation was already generating more than 3,000 ballots per hour, which quickly scaled to more than 6,000 ballots per hour before midnight.

But now, Merlino might just be willing to flip on Biden — in primetime Congressional testimony — if President Donald J. Trump is willing to issue the longtime mobster a full expungement of his decades-long criminal record. And, of course, Merlino wants to be pardoned for the election fraud itself and any crimes to which he may incriminate himself during his testimony.

“He wants a clean record. He wants to fish and hunt on federal lands. He’d really like a job with the National Parks Service. You need a clean record to get those things,” explains one confidant. “But most of all he wants the thanks of a grateful nation for coming forward.”

“He wouldn’t mind a little fame — or a lot of fame,” he jokes. “If he comes forward he’ll probably get a book deal and a movie franchise.”

Political observers believe that Merlino could sell the rights of his story to a major Hollywood production studio for more than $20 million, and a book deal could yield as much as $10 million.

“You have to understand the thing about Skinny Joey is that he is very charismatic and knows how to tell an enthralling story,” the associate explains. “He’d be an incredible movie narrator, and he’d perform excellently in congressional testimony. He could hit that testimony so far out of the ballpark that he becomes a superstar instantaneously — a real celebrity presence.”

The damning congressional testimony — being tentatively dubbed ‘The Biggest Heist in Political History’ — could make it politically impossible for the Republican-controlled legislature in Pennsylvania to certify the State’s 20 electoral votes.

Oh wow... thanks a lot. So technically, banks serves as the ESCROW in this case.

With reference to poor reputation of our banks in Nigeria and their inability or reluctance to assist your deal, how did you get another bank in a different country to stand in for you?

Did you have any previous relationship with the said country's bank prior to that event or you contacted them out of the blue (but how would they trust you in this case?)? or you used a friend in the said country?

I transferred the SBLC to a biz partner in another country who used it to trade while he applied for discounting and sent the funds to me. But depending on how buoyant you are you can actually set up a bank account abroad.

Okay, thank you.

I also have interest and I know an identified product that would do well after extensive research that I spent months on but means of receiving payment has been what I was wary of, in a case whereby goods get to buyer and they still do not pay. How do you avoid such? I once read that from a respected Nairalander experienced this and lost money. How would you mitigate against such?

Do you have a specific place where you get buyers for your goods or you just google companies directly and pitch to them?

Are there any means of meeting this people first before doing the deal or it is just over the internet?

If it the latter, how did they trust you enough to want to do business with you for the first time? Do you have a website built to help boost your credibility?

Also with the cost of shipping containers and hold up at the Apapa port in Lagos, how do you battle this for shipping containers?

Thanks in advance and I hope I have not asked too much.

It's not too much.

In a case whereby goods get to buyer and they still do not pay. How do you avoid such?
- Irrevocable Letters of Credit payable at sight, Bank Guarantee and Blocked Funds.

I've explained how SBLC works, there's another LC called DLC, it's also like a post dated cheque but the bank isn't a guarantor. It's strictly you and the buyer, if the buyer goes bankrupt, na your luck but if the buyer has money in that account, the bank is compelled to pay you.
Bank guarantees are another name or a twin brother to SBLC.
Blocked funds is simply the buyer freezing your money so that even he can't spend it and once you deliver, He's auto debited.

All these financial instruments are supervised by the bank to bank thereby adding more credibility.
Your main issue with them however is that Nigerian banks have very low reputation and many countries have barred them from receiving financial instruments so if you rely on these instruments, your buyers especially from Asia may struggle.

Do you have a specific place where you get buyers for your goods or you just google companies directly and pitch to them?

The internet is your best hope because the buyer's that are offline, hmmmm. You may not be able to meet them even if they spend donkey years in Nigeria due to the calibre of people they row with. Check b2b websites and register on them and begin to post products and services. Even if they don't buy, when your company turns up on different sites saying the same thing, it shows you are kinda serious. Your own website would also be nice and boost your image but it's not compulsory.

Are there any means of meeting this people first before doing the deal or it is just over the internet? If it the latter, how did they trust you enough to want to do business with you for the first time?

If the product isn't something that requires them getting their hands dirty to inspect or test, many buyers will buy and conclude and even pay via the internet but not with cash. That's why letters of credit and the rest are available. You have to be a wealthy crook to dupe them with a financial instrument.

how do you battle this for shipping containers?
Never try to foot these costs on your own, the temptation to make your price the lowest in the internet is always there until you have orders that will put you in 20yrs debt and I'm not kidding. Add 2weeks extra in the shipping timeline and explain to them that normally the product reaches earlier but for documentation and unforseen circumstances, you're adding extra days. Get a quote from shipping companies online and add +/-5-10% to avoid stories that won't touch. And always pay for insurance so you can sleep while the goods are on the sea so you don't turn an astrologer trying to predict the storms grin
Who will buy will buy.

Thanks so much for the lectures. Wow, this is an eye opener. Yeah, I have an idea about Letter of Credit but didn't know the abbreviation was SBLC. From your explanation, this is clearly an export business and thankfully, you didn't lose the deal.

Do you mind if I send a PM please? I have some questions to ask but if you want me to ask them here, no problem.

You're welcome but I'll rather answer the questions here

Chai. Please what's the meaning of SBLC in this context?

Stand By Letter of Credit. It's like a post dated cheque which the buyer's bank stands like a surety that instead of the cheque to bounce, they must pay you 100% immediately you present it to them.
It simply means once you deliver, your money is non negotiable or sacrosanct.

Discounting an SBLC is a loan offered by banks to support businesses meet up with huge projects. For example, the profit margin in a business may be 10 to 20% which can be a lot depending on the size but your capital may be 50 - 70% meaning you need at least 10% to 30% extra. The bank steps in and says since we are sure you will get paid, we don't want you to lose this deal, take this money, finish your business and pay us back with 1% interest.
Eg: you want to sell a cup of rice at #100 and your profit there is #20 meaning it will cost you #80 to buy and ship the rice. Meanwhile what you have is #60. Normally to borrow #20 from the bank, you need collateral or a guarantor who has collateral valued at 130% of what you want to borrow.
When you have an SBLC it's like a pending cheque so instead of you to fail, the bank steps in and gives you #20 at a very low interest of 1 or 2%. There's no risk because once you deliver, the money must come to your account with them and the loan will be deducted immediately. So you can meet up with your customer's order.

Nigerian banks still play god even in these situation by looking at your 1year acct history. If the money there is not up to the amount you want them to discount sorry 4 you. Meaning if you haven't blown before, they won't help you blow even when it costs them nothing and they'll happily watch you fail.

Nobody can be 100% sure of anything the same way you can't be sure he didn't try to work it out with his wife but they are a young couple and the woman obviously loves her husband, a little petting, talking and understanding will have made the wife want to give it a try

Listen I’m married and I know what I’m saying, if you sacrifice your whole life, you’re whole well being, your looks just to please everybody else, you’re deceiving yourself. Nigerian women always want to prove that they can do it all, always want to prove they’re superwomen in their homes, I’m sorry do you get some kind of medal for this? Only you will cook, clean, go to work, take care of children, what is your husband now there for? Is it anybody’s fault that you want to kill your self on top of your marriage? I put myself first before anybody else, and I don’t care who wants to open their mouth to call me selfish. How can I be the best mother and wife to my family if I’m not taking care of myself mentally and physically. Nobody will kill me before my time and that is just the way I see life.

Lol, mystery solved. You have a point but not everybody can put themselves first. When I first had my twin boys, I went 2 full years without making my hair. Just relax, stretch, style, wig etc. Not just because of my kids, my company was also in a critical stage. I still feel there will come a time where you just put things pending to pull out of some tight corner . It can last for weeks, months or even years and I feel no woman should be judged or dumped for that

Nawa o, going by another comment here the Ani Mumuney is notorious for this behaviour. I remember sometime last year I had an SBLC and needed some discounting service of 20-30% to meet up. This same wonderful bank refused to help saying it was my first deal. They watched that business nearly go bankrupt because I'm not a big fish. With God on my side, I was able to discou t the same SBLC from another country. Nigerian banks in general are just financial traps.

You have no rights to call a man randy for asking anal sex from his wife.

Having fetishes does not necessarily mean that one is randy.

I didn't call him Randy for asking for anal sex, I called him Randy for running after fellow Randy shegoats. If he's not a randy goat he will patiently work out anal sex with his wife. She will gradually adapt but like the goat he is. Immediately she said NO, he jumped up, he now has a valid reason to cheat .

i am not talking about being slutty or not. I’m simply talking about her appearance. It will pain the wife 100 percent more because the side chick is slim and beautiful whereas the wife has let herself go. The pain made her to embarrass herself in public like that. They’re better ways to handle a cheating husband. If only women knew their power, they would use it wisely.

im pretty sure she wasn’t like this when he married her. The side chick is also married.

Please do this,
Close your eyes, imagine you're married with 3kids, working class lady.

- You have to dedicate time for your kids to avoid molestation that's going on, I mean our kids are a priority right
- You have to spend several hours up at night giving it to your husband the way he likes
- You have to be at work on time to make sure your career dreams are intact
- You have to bring out time to groom nails, hair, spa, shop etc so your husband won't look outside
- You have to clean the house to avoid being called a lazy woman and because these housegirls can't be trusted before they snatch your husband
- Occassionally, family and other social engagements call and you have to answer to avoid being the evil wife.

Do you really think you can keep it all up 100% ?
Which would you sacrifice? Your husband's time? Your career? Your kids time? Your your beauty time? Your social life?

How will you feel when you find out tomorrow that your husband is dating a prettier girl who doesn't do anything except treat her skin, shop for good clothes and party hard because she's better looking than you and she knows all the "latest styles" you have been too busy to notice. Or do you think you will have time to practice the new dance moves?

See, until you've been there, you can't judge.
Many women have chosen their appearances and career over kids and marital duties. They don't care of the maid snatches their husband after all they are dating someone else's husband too, they don't care if the kids don't have good grades. Should these women be the measuring rod for all women?

What do you think?

exactly. Look at how beautiful the side chick is compared to the wife. I don’t know why some women do this to themselves, even if you’re not doing doing it for your husband, do it for yourself at least. You’ll be able to pick up yourself with a little bit of confidence when you husband fuckss up.

No ma, I disagree.
This is what happens when Randy hegoats go to marry good church girls then begin to complain that the wife isn't slutty enough.

Why didn't he marry the side chicks?
They want to ruin a good girl and keep side chicks. Hope u heard the side chick is also married.

Before marrying my wife, my business was moving well. I had an appliances big shop with full of things. I made a lots of money monthly and was able to pay all my bills and take care of my single mother and siblings without fail.

Bbut since we got married, just two months and 5 days after our marriage, my shop caught fire. I have lost almost everything only managed to save some few things, had to pay for all the damages to my landlord (the shop owner ) I’m still owning him money and I’m now renting a small shop but things are not working.

I have so much debts to pay to so many people including my previous shop landlord, can’t afford a 3 square meals, can’t afford to pay house rent, can’t afford to pay my shop rent and we have moved to my parents house.

My wife is pregnant and due in April, we haven’t bought anything for the baby. I wish never met her in my life cos she has completely destroyed my life and I have nothing left. She is evil. Haven’t confronted her cos of her condition, don’t want to add more stress to her and am waiting for her to put to bed then I will confront her and chase her away. I will keep the baby with me so she can go with her child she had before we met. I just hate her so much and I want nothing to do with her anymore.

Please what do you suggest I do?

There could be different source of problems; enchantments, cursed gifts, etc
But if the problem is your wife, maybe your wife has a strong spiritual husband or a strong foundational curse.

The first one is easier to deal with that's if it doesn't kill you first. I'm not kidding, those spirits go to that extreme if your wife doesn't up her game. She needs serious fasting and prayer. I advise mfm prayer city or one of CAC's prayer mountain. The earlier the better or the spirit may even kill her during child birth. Pregnant women fast.

The second is harder to deal with but can't kill you, instead it'll kill her. Solution, series of prayers and fasting. You have to join a strong church to find out the source of the curse and deal with it. It will take time but things will gradually return to normal.

As easy way to guess which is the real problem is take a deep look at the lives of those in her family. Ask her deep questions of her childhood dreams. Ask her parents about her childhood spiritual issues and how they solved it. If there's any story of a native doctor, river, white cloth etc, the problem is a spirit husband, most likely a river god. If the problem seems common in her family, with the husband's of her sisters, brothers and parents even cousins, it's a foundational curse.
Goodluck bro.

Health / Coronavirus Transmitted Through Apartment Pipes by nathaliya: 8:32pm On Feb 12, 2020
The virus which has killed over 1,100 and infected over 45,000 and counting may be able to infect people in their homes new studies suggest.

Early Tuesday morning, health officials in Hong Kong partially evacuated residents from an apartment block over fears the coronavirus may have been transmitted via the building's pipes.

Two residents living on different floors of a high-rise tower called Hong Mei House, in northwestern Hong Kong's Tsing Yi, had been infected with coronavirus, health officials said.

A 62-year-old woman was diagnosed with the virus about a week-and-a-half after a 75-year-old man in the same building became infected.

Three more cases have since been linked to Hong Mei House. The woman's son, his wife and her father have been diagnosed with the virus. The mother, son and wife share an apartment.

In Hong Mei House, the two initial patients with coronavirus lived 10 floors apart, but were on the same vertical block of apartments -- number seven. Health authorities evacuated residents living in apartments numbered seven on all 30 floors of the building because their toilet discharge pipes were linked.

While scientists are still investigating how the virus spreads, they believe it is mainly transmitted by direct contact, such as touching someone's hand, and through droplets, for example, an infected person sneezing or coughing on someone else.

Therefore, the virus could have spread through the apartment block through close human contact or the shared use of elevator buttons.

But because the two patients lived directly above one another, and the initial inspection found that a pipe had been disconnected from the bathroom's waste pipe, authorities decided to investigate whether the virus could have spread through the building's sewage system.

Ivan Hung, chief of the Infectious Diseases Division at Hong Kong University, told CNN that early studies of the novel coronavirus suggested it is present in faecal matter, though investigations are still ongoing as to what extent the virus could be transmitted this way.

Microbiologist Yuen Kwok-yung said at a Tuesday press conference that an improperly sealed pipe could have resulted in a virus transmission, by carrying infected feces into the building's ventilation system and blowing it into people's bathrooms.
