I have a morbid fear of dentists which started from 2008.
I was referred to a dentist in LUTH for an extraction on 24th December 2008 precisely. he took an xray of the tooth and asked me to come back by 5pm for the extraction. he did not advice me against consuming anything. so I went into surulere to see a friend and wait there till 5pm and there was a celebration going on in his house so we made merry with wine and food. I called the doctor by 5pm and he shifted the appointment to the next morning. and so the party continued till late.
the next morning I arrived for my extraction and after about four jabs of the anaesthetic drug the dentist started but I could feel every thing he was doing. he gave me more shots and proceeded even with the pain. I tried to bear it hoping it would be over soon but after 2 hours of his struggling with the tooth and dissecting my gum with all sorts of equipment. I was writhing on the floor with pain and told him I could not bear it anymore. by this time he had exhausted his anaesthetic drug and we had to stroll into mushin through the back gate to buy more.
being on a Christmas day everywhere was dry but we were lucky to get an open pharmacy.
back in his flat in LUTH. he gave me 6 more shots in my gums but still I could not bear the pain.
so he asked me to go home and come back after a week. that was my worst Christmas.
the only thing I could eat that week was boiled yam and sauce eba dipped in okro and sent to the back of my throat with a fork.
a week later I faced the dentist again and after an hour he finally pulled it out but not before breaking the tooth in two.
fast forward to 2016. I had a cavity which was beginning to give me serious pain so I summoned the courage to visit a dentist. a middle aged woman who listened to my last horrifying experience and promised to make it painless root canal process.
I was anxious all through the process though there was minimal discomfort until when she was almost done cleaning inside the tooth and was flushing it with a syringe. the needle jabbed the vein at the root of the tooth.
it was as if a bomb exploded in my head and my body could not comprehend anything again. the last thing I knew was just that I was not aware of anything but that pain again. as my wife who bursted into the consultation room narrated later. I groaned loudly and my body started convulsion and the dentist had to drop everything and started pumping my chest to revive me.
I came around a few minutes later but the pain took another 10 minutes to subside. but then all people in the clinic were gathered outside the door in fear.
I finally came back a week later to have the hole filled up.
now I have another hole to fill. I have decided to sign an agreement permitting the dentist to use general anaesthesia but I hear that the cost may be very high.
Can I get truly painless dental treatment in lagos?

I have stressed this in a similar thread in the past. Please avoid roadside agents. Any agent that demands N1 from you before taking you out on inspection is a quack and a fraudster!
The agency fee for renting a house is maximum 10% of the rent.
The agency fee paid for buying land or a house is maximum 5% of the sale price.
Lawyers especially are fond of charging 10% on sales. IT IS VERY WRONG. .
A professional agent does not base his business on a one time rip off rather on a relationship with his client to ensure referals.

This idea of inspection fees is absolute rubbish. If an agent asks you for inspection fee please ignore him/her and walk away.

I want to buy a small 4 cylinder engine car for fuel efficiency and I am seriously leaning towards a benz. I love the 2002/2003 c180 (w203) but a friend who had the 99 model (w202) says it's less of a hassle to maintain. he insists that the 02/03 is more electronic and that the parts are more expensive. I love the looks of the w203 and . I will be using the car for a lot of running around.
Please I need reviews from people who have used the cars as I dont want a car that will give me issues.
I know a lot of people will advise me to get a corolla but I have used Japanese cars for about 8 years now and I still have a landcruiser v8. I think I want a feel of German engineering (solid suspension and rear wheel drive)

You cannot just judge people because they asked questions. I have been into some shops & wanted to buy stuff but dropped the goods at the point of pay because of bad attitude. Even in some Asian shops in diaspora. I worked in a busy pharmacy as a school boy & I had better customer service skills than lots of grown ass men these days. ANY potential customer is King.

This vehicle will hover between N10m to N12m or even less. ( price starts at $21,000).
