I have seen in my experience a financial institution that paid salaries for 6 months after letting more than 300 people go...it was so easy for them that the next day they had recruited 300 "children" to start from where the previous 300 left!!

Obviously customers of the institution suffered for it and were given the usual lies of network failure and IT challenges, not knowing it was self inflicted because an oga in HR got angry.

Just rechecked, the company I refer to is only worth $1bn , Dangote refinery is easily worth over $14bn... honestly if only more Nigerians could visit the place and understand what has been created.

Absolute nonsense from Daily Trust. You cannot confirm the status of a company by mere checking on the website of CAC. CAC website is never updated regularly. Even as an auditor, I can’t rely on information from CAC website as absolute proof of the status of a company.

Daily Trust should write to CAC and do a legal search of the company. That’s the best way to get the necessary information. I can bet this is just a sponsored attack on the company by some vested interest.

It is irresponsible to lead your men into a theatre of operation and not have total visual of the terrain you are passing through. Cheap drones fitted with thermal cameras could have spotted the insurgents before your team drove into them.

The reason why western countries appeal to you and your country men so much that you are willing to sell your kidney to go there is because they are organized. There are rules regarding interest rates and certain kinds of loans are not even allowed. For a poor country like Nigeria, every sane person knows hardship can push people into accepting loans with ridiculous interest rates. Most of these companies are Chinese companies and I have heard stories of people that paid the loans and kept receiving calls from the loan companies. How can you people even find the voice to defend this exploitation of your country's poor by these people. It confounds me how some of you guys feel comfortable welcoming and hailing the wickedness that is making you to run away from your country in droves.
