If a Chinese actually established that business, it wasn't set up for profit-making purposes. How many Chinese live in Abuja that will give you enough sales to keep that business going? Some things don't just make any sense.

[quote author=Offpoint1 post=129394923] It's custom to be buried by the riverside if you drown were I'm from.
No sacrifice can't be made, you can conduct burial anywhere else but body has to be buried by the riverside.

What kinda sacrifice are they demanding 150k? [/quotle]
Actually it depends on who is involved or u think u will try this with people with power and influence....or someone who's family has means Omo forget ur culture can't be mandating on another person, the same way u have urs is how others do....so what of if the person's culture demands he be buried at home

PROPEACE:

The reason why western countries appeal to you and your country men so much that you are willing to sell your kidney to go there is because they are organized. There are rules regarding interest rates and certain kinds of loans are not even allowed. For a poor country like Nigeria, every sane person knows hardship can push people into accepting loans with ridiculous interest rates. Most of these companies are Chinese companies and I have heard stories of people that paid the loans and kept receiving calls from the loan companies. How can you people even find the voice to defend this exploitation of your country's poor by these people. It confounds me how some of you guys feel comfortable welcoming and hailing the wickedness that is making you to run away from your country in droves.
U still running from the issues, the reason people don't feel obliged to pay back before the know Nigeria is almost lawless and means of enforcing is low and is why u see these loan companies do these things....if this was in western world....u know u can be tracked down and jailed and u still pay the money but here someone owing will still be acting like WTF

They are always and very greedy, imagine collecting loan, and they want you to pay within 2 weeks? How? They will continue to borrow and not pay back.
I don't get did the force u to borrow or did u not see terms and conditions, why u see them react like this is because we are wicked callous and evil people....why will someone borrow money and now begin to be begged to pay it back...?

People comparing what happened in Delta to Borno are ignorant.

You can't compare casualty in an active ongoing war against bandits and terrorists with this unprovoked attack.

It's a thing of pride for a soldier to die at the frontline defending his father's land. But, unprovoked killing of a soldier in a non-combative situation is pure disrespect to the soldier, his family and the country.
Are u been serious, God abeg o 😹

Is this discussion about the look of the soldier or the message he was passing?

I am confused
U realize the message he is passing is not about justice but plain straight revenge..... justice involves going after people involved after u done ur underground work.... finding them, there sponsors, arms suppliers and bringing them to the book....but because the are all involved the do revenge burn the community and because our justice system is so useless most times life goes on

Actually u don't blame the soldiers, level of training differs, u can't do pass ur training.....and most importantly there is no justice....over there outside, soldiers are not above the law, but here u can imagine the army blocking off the community and committing there acts with impunity, last I heard was that the are bringing down all buildings to turn the community into an army base....guess what, no one can do ntin not even the governor or law court

First of yes it is much, there is no excuse for it.....but the problem difference in response to the same heinous crimes in different parts of the country, see how the humanized these ones, made it high profile....but guess what, we lost much more in single attacks in another section of the country and what the do is to either down play it or blatantly deny, which begs the question are lives truly precious or it depends on which part of the country u are...

Are you incapable of logical thought?

Only a foolish, bloodthirsty and murderous military will retaliate against a community because criminals, who also torture the community, killed soldiers.

And to actually try to defend the military is indicative of an erosion of thought, humanity and a dive into cannibalistic terrains.

You will simply have to be irrational, insensitive, inhuman and murderous to justify the madness by the soldiers.

The only reason anybody will justify this is mental sickness. You can spin it whatever way you like but the fact remains that you are mentally sick.
U have time to respond to him.....I feel this hinges on incompetence of the military and security agencies that in this age and time something gory as this happened rather then hunting the individuals responsible the raze communities to the ground like bunch of demented people with guns..... behaving like the barbarians the going after, what do the even do in training....the dss should be holding the spear and the military the tip....the dss points out who abd who is involved as the are hunted down....gosh this country irks

There may not be budget padding but there is definitely some allocations that are not given enough details, that’s what I understand this to mean

Lack of detailed and comprehensive information about allocation to MDAs can raise questions about sincerity on the part of govt because eventually these moneys are later released without much details for what purpose and to whom exactly…last last dem go kolobi the money and share within themselves
Which now begs the question...is that not budget padding....cause it seems some people somewhere are trying to twist and twist until the confuse us.....to show u the know what the are doing

First off, chibok was not the only major kidnap case. Thousands of girls and others had been kidnapped. Chibok got a lot of publicity.

Also , in the months before chibok, two schools were invaded by Boko Haram and dozens of students were shot dead. That's a lot of bad publicity.

Finally , kidnapping is happening because it works for the kidnappers. Gej could not send in the army because if he did, them Boko people would kill the lot of then girls and then go out and die . Same problem we have had with all kidnap victims.

In my opinion, we need to send in the army and wipe out the kidnappers even if it means victims die. But we choose to pay them , so the scourge continues [/quo
No offense to u but in this age and time u with the right training and equipment u can conduct a rescue mission for then and rescue at least 90 percent of the abducted....what is so difficult in integrating drones into our special forces arsenal....with drones u have real time Intel....yes there might be casualties but the bandits would know that yes justice can be served to them in the bush but nope instead we turned everything into politics, which sane country would almost two hundred kids be kidnapped and is like ntin happened

Nope it doesn't plus it provides superior return fire with is mounted machine gun which gives the soldiers an edge.....the only problem is that I highly doubt there soldiers can coordinate for such suppressive engagement fire.....
With an APC and squad of 6-8 officers....the can engage these robbers properly
